The Flash fried Large Lobster tail though expensive was outstanding. The Clam chowder was the best we ever had and we are from Boston! The seafood Newburg au Gratin was awful unless you love 90% bread crumbs and rice. We had two great lunches so we decided to have a Birthday Dinner and City Fish was nice enough to give us a piece of Cake! We remembered why we had not gone back in 5 years and that was due to the parking. Lots of Valet spots but long walks to self Parking is annoying!

Great food, great service, great atmosphere, too noisy and a bit too expensive. The sole franchise was excellent.

very busy restaurant, wait for table, and longer wait for food up to one hour after ordering. Portions seem to be smaller on certain dishes even those at high prices. While we eat here often it is hard to find the same waiters and all the new ones seem to need a lot more training.

Love dining on the porch. We were seated promptly at our reservation time. Our favorite starter is the half and half cocktail...2 large shrimp and a decent taste of crab meat served on a nice piece of butter lettuce, which is my favorite. We both chose the Parmesan crusted salmon which is delicious. The bread offered here is just excellent... I always take the remainder home to enjoy at breakfast.

We enjoyed the dinner but the service is poor. We were planning on visiting one of their other restaurants but changed our mind because of the service.

I love the place and food. Usually the service is also impeccable. Probably due to the high season, I noticed the shortages of service.

Food was very good - not great. All seafood ordered was fresh and well prepared. Waiter tried steering us to most expensive entrees. In spite of less than moderate prices entree accompaniment choice of sweet potato offered only 1/2 of a potato...not a big deal but a silly way to cut corners.

The food is consistently delicious. It’s one of the best restaurants in the area. The noise level, however is loud if you eat inside

Food is always delicious here. Very busy during the season so it does get loud because all the tables are full! Make a reservation. Prices are on the higher end but not as high as a Ruths Chris though. Worth the prices in my opinion, you get plenty of good food.

Food was cold and one of our entrees was so bad we sent it back. The best the manager could do was offer a dessert. The manage was not interested in satisfying us at all. He seemed too busy with other things. It also took forever for the food to come to the table which is likely why it was cold. Not going back to this restaurant!

Had high hopes , however not impressed as expected. The place smells like fried fish , maybe consider better ventilation system. Everything I tasted lacked seasoning & was rather bland. Our waitress was very nice & the service was good. The only thing I tasted that had any flavor was the mussels appetizer. It seems like they have lots of fresh fish but do not execute on flavor.

Loved it! Blackened trout with salad was perfect. My husband loved the stuffed flounder which he loved. The roasted oysters were terrific. Highly recommend this restaurant.

We will not return to City Fish. First, they cancelled my reservation 2 hours before our reservation time. It was only by luck that I noticed the cancellation email. When I called them they had no idea why it was cancelled. As I had invited guests it would have been a disaster when we arrived. Second, our waiter was horrible. Disinterested, cold, offered no commentary and disappeared after taking our order. Other wait staff delivered our meal and were not interested in helping us with any requests - they explained that they were to busy. We waited an hour for our meals - waiters had to use cloth napkins to hold the plates because they were boiling hot while the food was luke worm at best. We returned one dish and it took 1/2 hour to have that returned. If you spend $45 for Crab Cakes you expect something special. Think twice about going to this place.

Been there several times, food is good, service is usually good but this time we must have gotten the “new guy”. In addition to the order mix up, my crab cake was burnt on one side. Mgr made amends, I guess everyone has a bad day.

Valentine's meal with my wife. It was one of those experiences where you simply cannot imagine ever coming back to the restaurant City Fish Market ever again.

Server was overwhelmed. He took 15 min to stop by our table. He forgot to tell us about the specials. We asked the manager to help. He also was less than professional and didn't communicate with us except one word answers. Expected a better experience especially on a special night. My wife asked about the soda in a drink. He said there was none. My wife's spike in blood sugar indicated he was wrong. Tower appetizer was good. Hong Kong scallops were undercooked and average tasting. My wifes lobster was good. After spending nearly 200 we were ready to go.
