City Fish Market Ratings and Reviews
We like this restaurant if we can sit outside; inside is very loud and hard to hear each other talk. Unfortunately, on our visit there two nights ago our server was unattentive and incredibly rude. We almost asked for another waiter, and almost didn’t tip, but the two gentlemen in our party are very generous. I will refuse to be served by this waiter again. It’s unfortunate because a server can make a dining experience exceptional. Ours was memorable in a negative way. That being said, the food is always good.
There were 8 of us at a table that could easily seat 10. Normally I would think that this is great but we were seated below the bar and between the music and the location of the table we were unable to hear one another. The lobster bisque was tasty but did not have ANY lobster pieces. The sauted scallops had some grains of sand. Whipped mash potatoes were excellent. Other entreeswere just okay, nothing exceptional. All 8 members of our party said they would not return. Too many other good restaurants. Our server, Rosa, was outstanding, the highlight of the meal.
City Fish was very good. The food came out hot and was cooked well and seasoned correctly. It's reasonably priced but is a hopping bar scene with live music but they accommodated us in a quieter side of the restaurant. The only downside was that the air leaves a smell on your clothes. C'est la vie! The restaurant managers keep attention to cleanliness and the food line in the kitchen. It is well run.
I told the waiter that I did inot eat shellfish. When I ordered a fried fish, he pointed out that the oil was used for shellfish. Nobody ever has done that. He was a wonderful waiter. The food was delicious, but other places have good food.the extra cAring service will bring us back.
We treated a friend to a birthday lunch. The food was excellent, as usual. The noise level in the main dining room was abominable due to the repair work going on. We had to move to the large private dining room where it was tolerable. Hopefully it will conclude before we return. They brought a rather large pie of cake, with a birthday candle, which was delicious.
The food delivered to our table was fine except for one order, the peppered swordfish. It had obviously cooked before the other meals and sat around. The fish and potato were cold. They brought me a new meal which was fine. The swordfish was very good as were the other meals.
We also had an issue with the noise, inner table fairly close to the bar. Definitely will insist on a table near the outside windows in the future.
City Fish Market was an awesome surprise to have right next to the Hilton where we were staying.
We arrived an hour early for our reservation which we weren't sure if they would be able to accommodate us early? But they gave us a table without any hesitation even though the place was very busy. We were totally impressed with the menu and the fresh selections that were offered, we both ordered the black grouper Hong Kong style which was out of this world as well as Matthew our server which was extremely knowledgeable and friendly as could be.
I easily rate City Fish Market 5 stars all the way!

35 Anniversary disappointed no dessert was offered.
Dover Sole was excellent even though they brought the wrong preparation out first. Returned with the almond prep.
The king crab was not cracked or were any utensils supplied. It had to go back to the kitchen to be removed rom shell.
It seems that the finer details of a restaurant with these prices has been overlooked. Even the mussel appetI ER was skimpy.
Good food but extremely overpriced
Entrees were served just as we finished our appetizers. Server commented "perfect timing ". Not for a restaurant of this supposed caliber. Salmon was fair. Server was distinctly unfriendly.
Overall, not what we anticipated or expected from what was a favorite.
