City Fish Market Ratings and Reviews
have been here several times. Never disappointed. Both the food and the service was very good. Busy Saturday night in the middle of the visitor season and they handled it very well. The food was prepared just right and they even threw in a nice birthday dessert.
We have eaten here many times and have had positive experiences, however, when you order a chopped salad for an additional fee, and they blame the inability to chop it on corporate, something is wrong!
There chopped salads are not chopped at all.
Suggestion....don't order a chopped salad !
Three out of four main dishes were fine but one was terrible. The lobster newburg au gratin at $45 was an absolute mess. The sauce was a spicier version of their lobster bisque and the lobster meat was very soft as if the lobster wasn’t fresh. Not worth the cost not worth eating.
This was our third visit (we are from out of state). The experience was been a consistently good one. The service is efficient and professional, The fish, the heart of the restaurant, is excellently prepared. Overall, a very classy, without being pretentious, experience.
We have eaten at City Fish many times and it is consistently good. We drive from Coral Springs for a special night out. Our server this time, Andrew, was GREAT. He was attentive, knew the menu, and was fun to talk with but not overbearing. The appetizers and entrees for all 6 of us were delicious!! The fish there is always fresh and cooked to perfection. We had absolutely no complaints!
New Year's Eve dinner was wonderful.
We were a round table of 8 after seeing a show at the Maltz Theatre, I called to say we would be 15 minutes early and our table was waiting for us when we arrived. Service was wonderful and the quality of the food was wonderful which is sometimes an issue for some restaurants on New Years Eve. Everyone loved their food and the beautiful decorations.
