The service was excellent. I had the tuna. The waiter said it would be sushi grade but it was simply a tuna steak that was very overcooked and dry. The sweet potato and spinach sides were good. The bread is very good.
I always liked this restaurant but I think the quality of food has deteriorated.
The service is first rate. The food was very good and the overall experience cannot be beaten. We ended up staying in a hotel right next-door and enjoyed just walking back-and-forth without having to worry about having too much to drink.
Smoked fish dip is the appetizer to go with! Love the crab salad
The food & service can’t be beat. We live City Fish!!!!
Nice facility. Service was slow due to prep time and not the servers. Food wasn’t hot and quality not quite up to price. We had 8;pm Rez for 4 on A Saturday. Cannot honestly say I’d hurry to return.
We really enjoyed our delicious dinners
and our server was a delight. The restaurant was quite busy but our food came out warm as ordered
Megan was a smart, courteous and helpful server. She’s awesome!!!
When we used to come here 10 years ago it was far better. The food, the service and the ambiance have all declined since then. The latest time was our worst experience there ever, with slow service and mediocre food. It used to be a favorite. Now it is disappointing.
It was wonderful. Our waiter was attentive and the food was perfect. Would not recommend if you are looking for a quiet place to eat. The noise was very high.
Have been here many times and won’t be back. Waited 35 min for our reservation and i was with my elderly parents. Got seated next to a large table. Took forever to get our waiter to even order drinks. I ordered a Caesar light dressing. It came drenched Kim dressing. Said something and he brought back another kind of salad with a different dressing. Then we had to wait another 20 min to get our meals. My dad and I had stone crabs-jumbos at $38 ea. we each had 2. They were small and had no flavor. Yep a very expensive dinner and not worth it! Next!
Good was great. Service perfect. We had a wonderful experience.
Great place, great food, very friendly, on of my favorite restaurants in Boca Raton
We ended up going early and sitting in the bar for happy hour. Extensive menu offered then as well as their full dinner menu. Our server was fabulous, drinks were very good and the food was extremely tasty.
What I don't understand is why Open Table asks if it is for a special occasion and then the restaurant does nothing about it.
Very pleasant place Waiter was terrific
Very top quality seafood and nice ambience! It’s a little empty before 6:30 PM but overall a good culinary experience and service!
From easy valet parking to friendly greeting this place never lets me down. Comfortable in shorts and golf shirt or dress shirt and slacks doesn’t matter . I love the fact the waiters are all dressed as 5 star but yet clientele dress as you are and it all works. Food is always perfect .
CFM is our favorite restaurant and now that Covid is contained, we have dined 3 times in the last 5 weeks.
The food is alway superb and the outside deck was fairly quiet as compared to the inside. I have a hearing disability and that means a lot to me.
The server was pleasant and personable but was too busy at the dessert and coffee time but it was only for 10 minutes.
The only criticism I have is the condition of the mens’ room. Mold, mildew or rot around the top of the sink was a real turn-off.
We’ll return on our anniversary on December 28.
Service and food just okay!
This was our 3rd visit and sadly the experience was not as enjoyable. Our server was slightly curt, a bit pretentious, so got off on the wrong start. Drinks and food delivered incorrectly so we passed around accordingly. Lobster bisque wasn’t hot. Trout slightly over cooked and underwhelming this time. Oysters were great and the other entrees were fine. We’ll most likely return and give it another chance.
Very good main dish of crab cakes and vegetables. I was disappointed with the combo shrimp, lump crab meat appetizer. It was served room temperature and the shrimp was salty and not up to my expectations of this high end restaurant. I got the impression the appetizers were not refrigerated and just put out waiting for orders. On the other hand, our main dishes were served piping hot and delicious. Next time I’ll skip the shrimp appetizer.
Our waiter was very nice but when we asked for something he said he would be happy to bring it and then we had to ask again for the same thing. We had problems with drinks, condiments ice and water. I have eaten at your restaurant several times and never had a issue. This was very disturbing.
We had the most delicious dinner. The best service. And a perfect table outside over looking the water. One hiccup was they were out of the item my husband wanted and they took off the cost of the second item he ordered. Great place, we have been there often and we will be back!
Great food, great service, great time.
Service was slow snd not as good as usual. Food was excellent as always. Not sure why we did not receive points for our visit
Food good and service good.
Lobster was amazing!!! Everyone enjoyed.
I ordered from the 2 course special menu, I had the oysters appetizer, and the surf and turf . It indicated it was a 1.5 pound lobster with an up barge for the filet . When it came the lobster portion was beyond small. Barely any lobster at all (see picture). The manager came over, but just said sorry, that’s how it came and did nothing else.
Gumbo which was supposed to be full of seafood and sausage had to be returned due to having none of those in it. Even when returned the dish came back without rice, still runny but yes tasty. One fish meal was not very tasty. Other meals crab cake and whole fish were good. Service was fine.
It was my first time at City Fish Market and I heard many good things and it way exceeded my expectations. The menu is very varied and the food and service were excellent. I’ll be going back to try more dishes.
This place “looks like a very good restaurant “ but fails on some levels
(1). Noise level high
(2) dishes served luke warm and returned
(3) side dishes with good fish entree
Very rather tasteless
(4) wine list, bottle and glass variety
Weak and not cheap
$19 glass of a Pinot Noir i know is
$20 in many stores per bottle
(5). For $50 pp.. one should and can expect more.
Sit outside if you go, nicer ambiance
Consistent, great service always a favorite go too.
Long wait to be seated, very busy on a Thursday night. Interior design great. Very loud in main room. Food was excellent. The Hostess was great. She sat us in a much quieter room. Valet was very quick. I would go back and refer friends to dine there.
Excellent meal, great staff
Always have a wonderful meal & experience!!
This is the place that we bring all our friends because it has it all...ambiance, view, great service & great food! Highly recommend!
We have dined here many many times but this time the four of us were all disappointed with the small portion of fish and the quality. Nothing like in the past.
Perhaps with the pandemic the restaurant can't get the quality as in the pst.
We are frequent diners of City Fish & always have a very good dining experience. Food & service are consistent & exceptional! Our server for this night was probably the best server we’ve had in any restaurant! It took our dining experience over the top!! Thank you!! Can’t wait to return!
One of our favorite places to dine when in Boca. We were pleased to be seated promptly. Our server was less than warm and friendly. It used to be that we were greeted by name and felt very welcomed and important….not so anymore. The bread here is worth noting it is so delicious. There is a wine special currently…half priced bottles which is much appreciated. In addition to the regular menu, there is a fixed price option of 2 or 3 courses… again a good feature. Three of the group had the Parmesan crust salmon…and their plates were clean. My pan seared group..not so much. But still a pleasant evening
Sat at a table in the bar area and it was a great experience. Great service from all who waited on us and the food was awesome! Great night!
There is some game playing with the reservation times. We tried to book for 6 PM and were told the only tables available were for4:45 and when we left at 6 there were many many empty tables. The 'hostess' has a bit of an attitude issue that is really not pleasant. The over all service was ok but, it took repeated requests to get lemons and cocktail sauce.
