Our server was adorable friendly and knowledgeable
Food was delicious
Excellent food. Unfortunately we felt our waiter was not too attentive to us. We were two females and maybe that was why....we had to flag him down to order and he never even asked us if we cared for dessert. Dinner entrees were great.
Danny the waiter was beyond outstanding! He deserves a raise.
Several plates and drinks were missing or not available. Salmon, Chilean sea bass, Prosseco by the glass, etc.
Oysters were small but tasty.
Overall, a good experience.
Lovely restaurant but very bland, mediocre food. Limited seafood (no crab other than canned chunks), small lobsters. Nothing like a “Joe’s Stone Crab” but their filets of fish (i had Salmon) was cooked perfect and was tasty, so this may be their specialty rather than shellfish, however the portions of shrimp (2), scallops (3) and very small crab cake with 3 oz of fish for a $55 platter was obscene. It had no seasoning and was soaked in butter. I would not try this restaurant again.
We had a reservation for an outdoor table which was not honored. We were sat in the back art table with zero light . We had to ask for candles . The fish was served ok but all the sides were clearly
Prepared , not fresh and sub par. The CFM choose sal’s was devoid of hearts of palm. Very disappointing .
First time there and we didn't know how formal it was. We came from golf in golf attire sorry! However I thought we were going to the happy hour. Since we only want to eat outside I didn't realize the happy hour was only in the bar. I didn't catch that on open table if it says it. So we had to order from regular menu which wasn't our goal for the evening.
Food was great tho and service was also. Everyone was really nice to us despite us being in golf clothes.
The food was very good as was the service
It is a bit noisy certain sections more than others
Excellent service by Keith.
Food was delicious! Wait for table was 20 minutes past reservation as we wanted an outside table. Outside tables were very close together. Waiter was great and attentive but the food took an extraordinarily long time to arrive.
Our server zingy was terrific. Our dinners were all delicious. We had a wonderful evening and look forward to dining here again soon.
I always tell people that City Fish is my favorite seafood restaurant in Palm Beach County. That changed after last night. Despite having 6 pm reservations fir 2 for my birthday, we were still waiting at 645 and had a 830 show to catch. We opted to sit in the bar area which I normally love but had very mediocre service. I ordered the 2 course special and my friend ordered 2 items from the happy hour menu. We asked for my salad and her calAmari to be brought out first. .they brought both of her dishes out first. My salad had no dressing on it ans I waited 20 mins for dressing and salt and pepper while her food got cold. Then they brought out my lobster which was luke warm at best as it had been sitting- our waiter was no where to be found. To his credit he brought out a piece of bday cake for me as my on the house as my friend kept insisting i get dessert even tho i didnt want it. While that was a nice gesture and we did ultimately pay for it w a large cash tip- it did not made up for the bad service and the inadequate food. I understand it is covid, but I have been there 5x during the pandemic and never had this experience. Not at all what I expect from City Fish ! Very very disappointing birthday meal.
Service was excellent. Food was prepared as requested and delicious. This is one of our favorite places to meet friends for dinner. Our door patio or inside. Tables are spaced nicely so we feel comfortable. Definately recommend .
The salad was a huge disappointment. They forgot to put the heart of palm and egg in the salad. Forgot to bring the dressing on the side.
We ordered swordfish which was very tasty but they left off the portobello mushrooms. When we asked for them they told us they were out of them. Also they have me the wrong side of vegetable.
The service was not very good.
Bread was served warm but it was very ordinary.
We will not go back to City Fish.
Very nice restaurant, good service, but the food was not good.
Actually had to request bottled water (I think for the first time ever) because the poured water had a taste and was not particularly cold,
Bread was delicious.
Cesare salad was like eating dry lettuce.
Fish looked good when served, but really was not sufficiently cooked.
Vegetable medley was good but very plain.
Overall, a poor value for the money. Will not be back.
Outside table reserved but not honored
Portions are very small!
We had a late reservation and the kitchen took its time about preparing our food which it did not get right. By the. Time we were ready for coffee there was none to be had. We closed the place. We’ve been here several times over several years, but we will think long and hard about going back. We have been to other Buckhwad restaurants (Atlanta) and have always been pleased. Not so this time.
Food was terrible. Tuna was over cooked and inedible. When the server asked , he was told and apologized but we paid for a meal we didn’t eat.
Our reservation was honored and on time. Server was attentive but not cloying!
Brought our son who was home from college. Everything was great.
Chuck was an excellent server. Delicious, generous & fresh. It was my birthday and we were served a generous pice of chocolate moose cake (complementary). Consistently excellent!
Food was very good- one of our go to places. The waiter took 15 min. To take our order and it wasn’t even crowded at this point.
I can’t say enough good things about City Fish Market. What a wonderful dining experience. Our server, Danny, was amazing. He was friendly and very accommodating to ALL of our requests. He also provided wonderful and helpful recommendation to the menu. We had the surf and turf. The food was delicious and perfectly prepared. The value of unbeatable. The atmosphere was beautiful. High class and the views of the lake and fountain were beautiful too. Between the staff, the atmosphere and the food- we had a memorable, delightful evening. Thank you City Fish Market
We go to the City Fish Market because of their 3 consistencies
1. High quality food
2. Great waiter service
3. Reasonably priced for the quality of an evening out!
I would recommend that anyone put this restaurant on their to do list !
I have been to City Fish many times. Last night I was somewhat disappointed. My lobster bisque had no lobster and tasted like tomato bisque. My seafood newberg was lacking of seafood. My brownie was hard. The service was efficient. Others at my table did like their food. I will try again based on past experiences but definitely not on the experience I had last night.
Too much noise from bar area and music
The Open Table site should specify that outdoor seating is a request and does not actually reserve outdoor seating. Rather, when at the restaurant, diners are put on an outdoor REQUEST list.
Signed up for outdoor seating on open table. Would have had to wait 1 1/2 hours for outdoors and the host was rude about it. Everyone else was ver nice.
Always dependable food, though one of my guests thought the Trout Almondine was a bit dry.
Everything was fine< as usual, but we did notice a slight slowdown in service. We understand the labor shortage and all was really fine.
I was disappointed in price increases and supplement charges on 2 course dinner . Why bother. It used to be a good deal . Good food very good as was service . But again. Prices very
high eg crabcakes? Also u used to have whole fish for 1. My favorite. No more. Had to share a snapper. It was delicious but would have preferred my own
THe service and food were great, no complaints. It is the consistency of their service and quality of food that keeps us returning.
Delicious food, nice wait staff and value of wines are good.
Asked for outdoor seating but they refused when we came in. After taken to table we saw there ware empty tables. We did get one but that was rude of front host. Food not quality of prior visits. Wine deal good
Great food, service and value. First time visiting in Florida and wish other locations were in our hometown in Phoenix.
The restaurant itself is very nice. Nice menu selections and reasonably priced. Good size portions. Food was just average tasting. Somewhat bland.
We sat in bar area. Sarah provided great service. Thanks.
The food and service were excellent. We had a table outside and it was very enjoyable. They have a great menu and the food was delicious.
The meal would have been all 5 starst had it not been for an issue with my wife's dairy allergy. We asked multiple times if anything we ordered had dairy in it and we were assured multiple times that it did not. After getting the food and taking a bite of the fresh basil potato bake side dish, I asked again if there was cheese or dairy in it as it had a cheesy consistency. We again were assured no dairy and that that it only included potato and basil, whipped together, breaded with Panko and baked. So my wife ate the dish. I then asked another server about it and was clearly told that it most definitely had dairy in it, including cream. We told this to our server and he went back to ask the chef and told us that it had cream and parmesan cheese in it. My wife suffered with her dairy allergy stomach pains for the night. There was no concession on the bill and I feel as though we should not have been charged for the meal. Food allergies are not something a restaurant should take likely as they can have severe health consequences. Not sure what else we could have done besides asking our server multiple times.
Food was delicious! Definitely returning. Plan to have son’s graduation dinner there! Thank you!
