I go to City Cellar about once a month. We always start out by ordering a bottle of wine for the table before we even look at the menu. The food is consistently good and some of the foods are changed up occasionally which makes for a great balance of delicious regular menu items and a nice selection of foods I have not experienced at City Cellar. Tonight’s meal did not disappoint and my friend and I were pleasantly surprised by some of the new appetizer choices. Our meal which we both ordered the same was a fantastic rib eye encrusted in blue cheese. It did not come with any sides on this particular selection so we ordered a side of their fresh corn risotto which was sweet and sumptuous. They did a change up on our usual go to desserts and that was the only time we felt disappointed by our choices. We both missed the bananas Foster and the S’mores in a jar. The flourless cake was way to dry, hard and much too sweet. Overall, forgiving the desserts, this entire meal was one of the best I have had there in a awhile. Food is usually fabulous but tonight it was taken up to the next level. The dining experience extremely enjoyable. We are looking forward to our next Saturday evening meal at City Cellar.

Good food, very SLOW waiter. Not sure if he was overwhelmed but he took forever with everything and didn’t check on the group at all

Buzzing, noisy and energetic atmosphere. Brunch is a la carte and not buffet style which we enjoyed. Service was wonderful. The live music was a bit much at times and added to the already noisy atmosphere. Large groups of people overpowered the couple groups, not a romantic spot for sure.

Crab cake although mostly crab meat was tasteless, tempura shrimp were soggy.
Ribeye steak was maybe 1/4 inch thick. Ordered rare n it was charred. Salmon was, ok. Not a place I’m running back to for dinner .

It took almost 15 minutes before our server came to the table. The manager came by and said she would be there shortly then the assistant manager came by and said she would be there shortly. Once she arrived she did a very good job. The food was delicious as always. Very difficult to have a conversation as it is very noisy in there.

Excellent Food across the board. Very loud, but we asked to be seated away from the bar, and they did that--it was quieter farther away from the bar. The wait staff was attentive but didn't rush us. It was a very pleasant meal overall--I would definitely recommend, and go back.

Great experience as always! The bill was a bit higher than expected! Don’t think the waitress fully understood how we wanted to spilt the bill three ways and I think she over charged us for 3 tequila shots. But other wise an amazing time as well

The food menus have changed- hummus appetizer, main courses and many desserts. The older menu had better selections and better quality food. The filet mignon was tough.
We have been customers for many years. Not sure if we will be coming back. This was the second time we were disappointed with the food.

Our meals, The Maple Salmon & Rigatoni Bolognese, were great as usual. What really made the evening, was the excellent service from our waiter, Kenny.
Well done.

We planned Dinner for four. The service was the worst we experienced from the first moment. The Waiter came by right away and asked if we were ready to order. Never asked what we wanted for drinks. I asked to see a wine list. He said there weren’t any. When I questioned that he said they were all given out. This place has a wine “book”. He then offered to pick out something red and bring a glass over. Really? We said we wanted a bottle. I had to ask the table next to us if we could look at their list. I then ordered one and he carried the bottle to our table under his armpit while delivering drinks to another table. Then he got an attitude from that point on. We poured our own wine. The soup came without a spoon and was lukewarm. The steak dishes ordered came with no steak knives. We were tucked in a corner and could not get the attention of staff easily for these things. The waiter ignored us. An awful experience for a high-end price point. Very embarrassing for me since I selected the venue.

Second visit here. Hostess was very unfriendly and seemed annoyed that we did not like the first table she picked for us (we had a reservation and it was not that crowded). The server was very pleasant but not always around when needed. Food was excellent. Will try it again.

We were greeted and walked to our seat promptly but no one took the time to notice our ‘special occasion’/birthday. I was very disappointed by this as I selected both options in Open Table.

There was also water that was spilled on the floor and a woman fell right in front of us. A waiter helped her up and went right back to work as if nothing happened. My guest and I were stunned. We had to tell our waiter what happened who the cleaned up the water. Wouldn’t dine here again.
