Came with the family to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Everything was delicious. Bread, appetizer, drinks and entrees. We were too full for dessert. Waiter was very attentive. Nice atmosphere. Highly recommend.

The service was bad, the server wasn’t even sure if she could replace coconut rice with fries it was a big to do. Drinks were not strong, food was super bland for the entire table, I put a note in the reservation that it was one of our birthdays not a happy birthday not a candle nothing. Will definitely not be back and would not recommend.

We sat near the bar because the booths are roomy and comfortable. We ordered the delicious chicken salad served with French fries and croissant and also the turkey burger which was cooked perfectly. The fries and brioche bun with tomato and onion and special sauce complimented the burger. Definitely a tasty and satisfying lunch!

Came to celebrate our daughter’s graduation from Hofstra University. Brought family who had never dined at City Cellar. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The service was kind and prompt. The food was hot and delicious. Thank you City Cellar!

City Cellar is a neighborhood gem. Great place for a celebration, date night, or a just a great meal with friends or family. The menu is comparable to any Manhattan restaurant. Great cocktails and wine choices too.

We have been to City Cellar many times and always enjoy the menu. Last night we had a business guest and when we arrived at our table there were quite a few little black flies crawling on the tablecloth and flying around our heads towards the end of our meal. It was embarassing! The fried calimari was just ok but all other food delicious! Our table was set with dessert forks which we all started eating our dinner with. It was difficult getting the attention of our waiter (and the restaurant was not busy) to please provide dinner forks. He was efficient and served our meals promptly, but that was it. I was a bit disappointed this time.
