I would recommend Bistro to a friend: First Bistro was very accommodating. I was traveling from outside the Hoboken area running 40 minutes behind and upon my arrival my family and I were seated. The waitress was very attentive and the food was delicious. I really enjoyed the Firecracker Shrimp and the brunch menu.

Temperature needs to be managed a bit better. It was cold. Also some mood lighting would be good for brunch. Pretty dark which is generally good but may not be ideal for brunch.

Took 20 minutes to even get noticed, and then once we finally ordered drinks/apps, took another 40 to be able to order our meals:( The server wasnt even apologetic for us waiting so long, just said “Do you need something??” Hate leaving bad reviews because the food was actually very good, but the service was just so bad, I dont think I’ll be returning.

Brunch is $10 mimosas Bellinis and bloody Mary’s. Service was good. Shots were definitely watered down. It was an okay vibe, so many cheaper and better tasting brunches elsewhere. Good location though

Brunch was fantastic and reasonably priced. Espresso martini & lemon ricotta pancakes were delicious. My friend went the healthier route and had an egg white omelet. She said she liked it. Service was very good and friendly.

Date with my daughter, her first time here and she loved it. She ordered the steak and eggs and cleaned her plate. We ordered the French toast to share and loved it. This is the 2nd time I order the eggs Benny. I requested my eggs not so runny and both times came back runny. Food was still good. They were clearly busy so I didn’t bother to complain. Food came out quickly and overall loved it. We’ll be back!

Unfortunately my experience here was atrocious. It was so disappointing that after my meal, I sought out the manager. I had a dinner reservation for 4. Upon arrival we were offered a rooftop table, naturally giving my friends and me excitement! When we sat down we ordered drinks. My friend ordered a Mojito and we were extremely surprised when the waitress brought her out a can of a ‘Bacardi mojito’, not a fresh drink. There was confusion on our end and when we spoke to the waitress, we asked why the drink was in the can? She could have explained that drinks were different on the rooftop because of the constant running up and down stairs the staff would have to do to provide fresh drinks, which are provided on the ground floor. Instead we were greeted by an unhappy, combative employee with her nasty response ‘well that’s just how it is on the roof’. I could see the hesitation when we asked her to switch out the can drink for a different beverage. The night went downhill from there. The service was atrocious. We were not provided with silverware, plates, and I found myself getting up and asking other staff members for the basic things we were missing from our table. Our table ordered food and we found out, when our waitress brought half our meals out, that the chicken cutlets were out of stock so they couldn’t complete half our order. Half our table was able to eat their meals when the other half watched. Plates were not given to us with our main meals, after explaining we were sharing the salad/pizza so I once again had to ask for more utensils and plates. The waitress was hostile with us. She then went ahead and tipped herself 22% on a 4 person table. This was not a party of 6, but a party of 4. When asked about it, she once again said “well that’s just how we do it here.” The manager was very surprised when I asked him about their tipping policy. He said parties of 6, automatic gratuity and was very surprised when I told him it was 4. Won’t be back.

Rooftop is nice my food was a little cold when served . Nothing really special about the steak and eggs but I can say the home fries were very delicious. My mimosa was served warm which wasn’t great .

It was so hard to find a parking spot. It was so bad we spent 30 minutes trying to find a spot/ parking garage. When we got there we were seated right away. The music was loud inside. I didn’t realize that the restaurant turned into a lounge after a particular time. So this was not the place for us. But overall the food was good. This just wasn’t our scene anymore. It’s more a youthful 20-30 something place to be.
