   I love eating outside at this high quality ocean-side restaurant. The food is good: tasty burger and tuna salad sandwich. The passion fruit mimosa sounded better than it tasted. Good service.

   We had a very nice waitress. . We all felt as if our order was forgotten. The family seated after was finished and gone before we got our entree. In the past we’ve had better service.

   Our dining experience was great. We ate on the outdoor patio to enjoy the last light of the day on the Ocean. Dinner was not rushed as we enjoyed drinks and a salad first followed by the main courses. It was a bit noisy, but we were able to converse.

    The food is always wonderful one of my favorites is the tomato tart it’s outstanding. We sat outside with the beautiful view of the beach. I always recommend going there before sunset. The service was great and our waiter Harry is a favorite!

    Had guests joining me for lunch. Had a 1:00pm reservation but got there about 10 minutes early. We were promptly seated. Our waiter came and took our drink orders then a few minutes later took our meal orders. We were a party of 4 and ordered 3 hamburgers and a ham sandwich. We were not served our food until 1:45pm! We did ask our waiter at about 1:20 what was taking so long. He said the kitchen was slammed with 20 burger orders at the same time. Really??..that the kitchen could not handle 20 burger orders...incredible! Also for a $17 burger, presentation was definitely lacking. Burger with fries on the plate leaving plenty of white space was unappealing...a slice of tomato on some greens would have made a world of difference. While we were waiting we asked for at least some "comped" fries...that did not happen. Very disappointed in service.

    Got reservation on Open Table. Lunch menu on-line appeared to be limited, but we were pleasantly surprised how good the four dishes we ordered were. Our waiter did an excellent job. A nice experience!

    This is my third year eating at Citrus and my second time visiting Citrus in the same week. The food is always delicious and service is excellent. Upon arrival at 1:33pm for our 1:30pm reservation the male, older, manager/host told us they were no longer serving lunch. I mentioned we had a reservation. He decided to honor our reservation but told us in a huffy voice we must hurry the kitchen is closed. Our server was very pleasant and took our cocktail order with no pressure to order quickly. Other nearby patrons were still with menu's and sipping on their cocktails. Then along came the male manager/host who saw we were still with menu's and angrily instructed us to get our order in! At this point, I mentioned I was not the one to be blamed or treated rudely for a system that allowed customers to book online at 1:30pm if the kitchen was closed. He needed to fix their system! Unfortunately this lunch experience has me wondering if I should ever brother to return when they treat their guest in this manor. It was very upsetting to my guest and I!!!

    So disappointed. Has gone down hill. Waited an hour for a dinner that was below Citrus standards. Never even offered something to accommodate the wait. An extra glass of wine maybe?

    We had a wonderful experience there a number of years ago. The food and the service was wonderful. The last time down here we tried to get a reservation but they had closed because of a kitchen fire. We were very excited to return this time. Setting was as nice as we remembered, I wish I could say the same about the food. While the shrimp dish was tasty, the shrimp was over cooked to a rubbery consistency. The scallop dish was well cooked, but I needed to ask for both salt and pepper to adjust the flavors. I am very sad to say that they have fallen into the category of “wonderfully mediocre“ which seems to be more the reality in this general area.

    Host (white hair/ponytail) was rather abrupt, borderline rude. We had reservations, but were told "first come, first serve" Food and beverages were excellent. Our Server had too many tables but tried her best .

    Tried the Wagyu Burger 🍔 and it was cooked to perfection! We had a high-top near the bar, so the view was beautiful. If you want to have a real conversation, you might not want to sit there as the bar is hopping at lunchtime 🍷🏖️

    My husband and I made lunch reservations because we'd not been to this restaurant before and figured lunch would allow for a good trial run before coming back for dinner another time. To begin with, parking was an absolute nightmare. The hunt for a spot was so bad that we nearly called and canceled our reservation. But we lucked upon a spot and went on in. The experience was, in a word, underwhelming. The lunch menu offerings consisted of 3 starters (Idaho fries, truffle fries, green salad). Mains consisted of tuna salad, tuna salad sandwich, smoked salmon tartine, a wagyu burger, a turkey burger, a turkey sandwich, and lastly, a ham and cheese on baguette. I don't know about anyone else, but I go out to eat because I don't want to eat the sort of food I have at home. And you go to a place like Citrus Grillhouse because you want something more elevated than what you can get at home. Everything sounded... boring. We both went with the salmon tartine, since it sounded the most promising out of the menu. What came was a slice of seeded whole grain bread with a cream cheese spread, cucumber, shallots, capers, and smoked salmon, with a side of greens in vinaigrette. The vinaigrette tasted like it had come from a bottle. The tartine itself wasn't bad, but it was boring. The whole lunch menu felt phoned in. Maybe that's intentional so they can focus on the dinner service--but we won't be going back to find out. Cocktails were solidly mediocre and so loaded with ice that our drinks were watered down within five or ten minutes (we were seated outside). The servers were pleasant and helpful, which was a plus, certainly. But nothing about the experience made either of us want to go back for dinner. A shame, because we were both so looking forward to trying a new (to us) restaurant.

    Citrus used to be perfect. Now the lunch menu is abysmal followed only by the quality of the food….the only good part were the raviolis, which they purchased from the farmers Mkt. sadly they covered them in a sauce that was inedible. The view is lovely from the porch. Our server was lovely as well.

    A very good restaurant. We had a reservation and were seated on time outside on the patio. There are nine tables on the patio and the view of the ocean was fantastic. The patio was noisy but you could still talk and be heard. We ordered the tomato appetizer which consisted of broiled tomato slices, Parmesan puff pastry a all topped with goat cheese. It was very good and would order it again. My wife had the Florida Shrimp Risotto and it was excellent. I had a special Iberico ham with truffled polenta. This was very good. Normally not a truffle person but the polenta was very good. We had excellent service. Definitely a place to return to.

    Everything about our experience at Citrus Grillhouse was very good. I made a mistake with my reservation, and it was handled very professionally, still getting us seated promptly. The lunch dish that we ordered (Chicken Ramen Special) was delicious! The service throughout the meal was great, and our server had a thorough knowledge of the menu. I highly recommend choosing Citrus Grillhouse for your next dining out experience!

    Lovely Valentine’s Day dinner. Had our pick of inside or outside. Enjoyed outside overlooking the ocean. Food came out well spaced so we could enjoy the evening and not be rushed. The scallops and flounder were delicious. Great presentation. Wonderful service. Loved the deserts especially the deconstruction of the s’more.
