The food was great, and so was the service. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that needs/wants a wonderful place to eat and relax.

I booked for Saturday brunch which I have attended before, they no longer have Saturday brunch. The waitress did offer to bring me a sampling of things but the price point for the meals were not conducive to that. My Eggs Benedict tasted okay but not the quality Ive had previously. Not a BAD meal but overall dissapointing.

When we arrived, it was a pleasant evening and we opted to be seated outside on the patio. Unfortunately, on being seated, we smelled cigar smoke and realized that smoking was allowed outside on the patio. We opted to sit inside where there was less of a view but considerably less smoke.
We were seated in the bar area which seemed strange since the main dining area was almost empty.
Our waiter took our drink and soup order and scurried off. Shortly thereafter, a waitress arrived and asked if she could take our order. We asked if she was taking over for our waiter and she informed us she was not. We then informed her that the waiter had taken our drink and soup order and we would wait until those arrived to place our main course order.
As my wife had finished her soup (very good chowder I might add), the lady returned and asked if she could take our order. I was still finishing my soup but felt compelled to stop eating and place an order. We had the feeling the lady was rushing us even though the restaurant was only about 30% filled. When I ordered a beet salad, the lady seemed almost insulted that I had ordered such a small amount. I assured her that that was all I wanted (turned out to be almost too much and I left a small portion).
When we had finished our main course, our regular waiter took our coffee and desert order and left without clearing our plates. He brought us coffee and said he was going to get the desert at which time we strongly suggested he remove our dinner plates. He seemed flustered but agreed that that certainly made sense. Only my wife ordered desert (a good sorbet) and I declined anything, yet they brought the sorbet with two spoons and made a point of clearing a spot in the middle of the table for the desert to sit. If we had intended to share, we would have asked for two spoons, it is presumptuous of the waiter to take it upon himself to bring the desert with two spoons and clear the center of the table for a desert.

I had scheduled a reservation at 6:45 with pre-purchased movie tickets at 8:15 to see after dinner. We didn't have our order taken until approximately 7:30. We since we had such little time left we had to order food based on how fast it could be made vs. what we really wanted. Our server was very nice but it was very busy and it seemed that the restaurant was short staffed. Even though we rushed we were still late to our movie and had to exchange tickets for a later one. Otherwise; the food was great, staff was pleasant, inside was very nice.

Very good service and an overall pleasant experience. We had the unfortunate timing of being there when an overly exuberant bunch of about 8 people were behaving as if they were the only guests trying to enjoy their meal. Otherwise, the restaurant is unique in terms of being able to see the preparation of the food, along with the outdoor entertainment and dancing. The prices were a bit high for the value, especially the filet mignon.

We had reservations, but had to wait for a table. When we were shown to our table we had to wait for anybody to approach our table. We had to ask multiple times for parts of our order. Food was nothing special. For a buffet we were seated at a table where half the party had to get up when people wanted to go to the buffet.

Went for brunch and the food was very good and I thought a good value for the money. A couple of things bothered me though, we had a reservation and I was not told we would be on the patio. It was cold and my in laws were less than happy that we couldn’t move. Was a walk to get food and was hard for someone in our group. One of the kitchen staff making the waffles and French toast used her bare hands to move the food. Not pleasing. Brunch items should be labeled. Otherwise it was good and would go again.

Miss the live music (DJ preferred) on Saturdays. My friends and I had not been in a while so we didn't realize the band or DJ that plays dance music would not be there--so that was a little disappointing to us. Love that we were able to sit at the fire pit especially with the temperatures dropping drastically while we were there. Great service!

Took my wife for a date here. Many great dishes to choose from. We kept it simple and went with the meatloaf and potatoes roast dishes. Incredible. I have never had a meatloaf that didn't taste greasy and didn't sacrifice flavor. It was fantastic. Can't wait to go back and explore more of the menu. I also recommend the stuffed dates. Just exquisite.

We go here from time to time- sometimes to the bar to eat and sometimes for a nice meal in the restaurant. The one constant is you never are sure what you are going to get- there's always some glitch. Sometimes small, sometimes large. But it's the only game in town so we continue to go. This time, they recovered well. They didn't have our first two picks of wine- which ALWAYS happens. They always say they are in transition with their wine list ,but how can that be every time? This time, we appreciated the manager and the bar manager coming over with a couple other options- this was a nice touch. And, after making an error with one of our dishes, they gave us two desserts- just brought them to the table. A good recovery. PS- it was really bright in there for a nice dinner- would recommend they try to get a better ambiance with that. It would help.

My husband and I selected the City Grille as a recommendation from a friend. We went to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The restaurant was very nice and the service was great. We were not impressed with the food though. We had coconut shrimp for an appetizer which was overcooked. The salmon was over cooked as well but both were still edible. We had to send back an order of scallops that were under cooked. The management quickly acknowledged our request to return the dish and offered an apology. They also offered a free dessert for the inconvenience. We both appreciated the quick response and sincere apology.
We stayed after dinner for the live entertainment, which was awesome!! I would highly recommend going to City Grille for drinks and music.

Our server was very slow and acted like he felt awkward. We ordered a second round of drinks from the bar. He served mine before serving my wife's. Ten minutes had gone by when we reminded him about my wife's drink.

Ordered crab cakes for an app. They were cold, which was unfortunate because they had nice flavor. For entrees we ordered duck confit and a vegetable pasta dish with chicken added. The duck was tough.Could've cooked a bit longer. The sauce was nice though. The pasta was very bland. Some salt would've helped.

We declined dessert. The server then offered us a creme brûlée on the house. I think he sensed that we were not enjoying ourselves. We accepted the creme brûlée, which was gritty or mealy, like it was overcooked or possibly made from a mix.

There was 3 of us and all 3 of our plates came out not the way we ordered. The server tried to make it right and gave us a percentage off our bill. She was very accommodating and very understanding and apologized numerous times.
My recommendation to this restaurant would be to talk to their staff in the kitchen to see if they understand when the server gives them an order.

Overall the restaurant was nice. I felt the prices were high, $14 for a spinach salad with 5 shrimp.
I asked the server if the kitchen could saute the onions and she said no. I asked if they had caramelized onions and she said yes. I asked for those. She made a face, like it wouldn't be good, and asked me if I wanted them on the side.
My friend and I enjoyed the lunch ambiance and they did accommodate my request fro a quiet booth. However, I don't think I'll be back.

We chose Citrus City Grille in Corona because of its location halfway between our business partners in Orange County and our location in the Inland Empire. We are glad we did and our partners were impressed. The ambiance of the restaurant is very pleasing - very open and spacious with the ability to see into the large, open kitchen and beautifully decorated. The service was great! Our server was very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. There were plenty of delicious and healthy menu choices. We had salads and pasta, and everyone was pleased with their dish. The noise level at lunchtime was perfect for us to have a business discussion.

This is the second time I have been to Citrus City Grille, both times for Sunday Brunch. The choices are good although there should be more veg items. Food was good. Service was excellent the first time but the second time we didn't see much of our waiter. One of us ordered an omelette and it took 45 minutes - way too long. Good thing there was the buffet to pick from while we waited. Another person at our table then wanted to order an omelette but was wary because it might take too long. Hers came within 10 minutes. Overall a great place for brunch but the speed and service needs to be more consistent.

We had a reservation, stood at the hottest stand at least 5 minutes before someone came to tell us the hottest would be back. Got seated, at least 10+minutes before someone stopped to ask whether we had been helped and informed us she was new and training so she won't be our server but she would be happy to get us drinks while we waited for our food and found our waiter.

Another 10+ minutes our waiter came immediately closed the wine list I had left open before asking what I wanted. When I told him (simple order) he asked me to show him. About 20 minutes later he came back with our wine. Never asked if we wanted to order and disappeared before we could. Finally 10 minutes later comes back and takes our order. I got the ribeye, my husband ordered the salmon, and a tuna appetizer which from the description sounded like a sushi roll/plate. He got a salad with pepper covered tuna on it and an avocado egg roll that was just avocado in an egg roll wrapper no flavor.

My steak came and it was the toughest steak I've ever had in my life, it was thoroughly charred to the point of being burnt and swimming in a sea of butter. All I could taste was butter and burned. Definitely not a $40 steak.

My husband didn't care for his salmon at all.

Honestly the best part of the whole experience was the bread. And wine. Although it was white wine, not chilled and he poured a full glass before it was chilled at all. So it wasn't until my 2nd glass that the wine was right.

Definitely won't be back. We had been to the riverside location before it was shuttered and had a similar experience.

My wife had the stuffed chicken and I had the meatloaf. Both where great. From the backed mac n chesee to the grilled asparagus the sides where also great. The bread was hot and the Raspberry lemonade (alcohol ) was also good. Jasmine rice was perfect and the mashed potatos where just creamy enough. I can't stop braving about the meatloaf. From the 1st bite you would think it was a steak but no cutting required. The portions where good so we didn't even need the sides. We reserved a table for 4:30 on a Thursday so not sure about availability. It was right to our table. They have a Hugh wine selection. We where so full that we didn't get to dessert. Had a movie to catch so it worked out great. Definitely going back soon.
