The food and service were both adequate. We had a disagreement with the owner over a policy they had. The issue was that I indicated earlier to the waiter that we would be splitting our salad. I was surprised when they split it for us and even more surprised when they charged me a $2.50 split plate charge for the second plate. I have never heard of such a thing. My understanding of a split plate charge is when you go in and ask for a second plate and split your entire meal so that they have all these dirty dishes with only one person paying. I get that. But we had two full meals and I just asked them for an extra plate for a salad. It was pointed out that it was printed on the menu. They showed it to be on the menu and yes outside the border of the menu in small print I hadn’t noticed, it indicates a split plate charge. Again, the split plate charge is for something else. Google agrees with my interpretation. If it had been mentioned when I ordered the extra plate for the salad, it would’ve been different because we could’ve discussed it at the time. After the fact, I should’ve been accommodated. Instead, The owner was not at all graceful, in fact was belligerent used the F word toward me and invited me to leave the restaurant and not come back. I was pleased to receive that invitation, because there’s no way I’m going back in that place. The way I deal with this kind of treatment is to boycott a place and encourage others to boycott as well. I recommend a complete boycott for anyone who looks at this review.
Quite pricey for the quality of food for brunch. Much of the food was dried out and not many options. Fish was just terrible, ingredients for omelettes few, and beef was chewy and stringy without much flavor. Lamb was over cooked and dry, and hot tray foods were highly condensed/moist and yet dried out. Would not go there again. Unfortunate experience for four Mothers and family wanting to celebrate a special day.😢 Our waitress was nice, although not very efficient.
Went for Mothers day and they only had a buffet. Not a fan of buffets.
I brought my mother here for Mother's Day (our first time eating here) and we absolutely loved it! The buffet-style brunch was amazing and everyone was so nice!
Our mother's day brunch tradition. Great buffet and friendly staff always makes the visit enjoyable.
We went for their Mother's Day brunch and it was delicious. The food on the buffet was hot, well filled and had a nice variety of options. The mussels and the shrimp were very fresh and tasty. Bloody Mary's were great and the desert bar was to die for. Well priced too for what you got. We'd definitely go back for their brunch.
i would not go there again. food was poorly prepared.
Great value with a large menu selection. Food was ok. I would not go for a special occasion but should be considered for everyday dining and the happy hour menu.
We went for Happy Hour which was fabulous and then had dinner afterwards. The prices were great and the food delicious. Good house wines on their Happy Hour and great martinis!
My lamb lollipops were delicious; dolmades very tasty. Everyone in the group enjoyed the food. Our server, Kelly, was excellent. And the dessert brownie alamode was scrumptious
Waitress was inattentive. Food was good
This neighborhood restaurant offers amazing food and service. Portions are great for the price and many of the staff members have been at this place for years. This place just celebrated their 10th anniversary and I couldn't be happier for them!
Always a nice place to go for Easter brunch. We try to go every year.
Enjoyed a nice Easter Buffet with wide variety of foods including desert.
We attended Easter Brunch here.
We had 3 vegetarians in our group and many of the buffet dishes had meat in them. Had an omelette station and then more egg dishes with meat in the buffet line. They did not have any French toast, pancakes or waffles. Seemed like too many egg dish options. The ham was really good. Fruit was great. Good desserts. Service was great. Great for non-vegetarian people. Pricey for vegetarians. We went several years ago and liked it better that time.
Easter brunch was disappointing.
It was a subpar food experience and a bit more expensive than we were expecting. Very friendly wait staff but we’re not very attentive. All in all it was fine but not stellar
Food was mediocre at best. Service was fair. Our second time, and we’re not likely to return.
We've driven by this place many times and decided to finally try it. We were all impressed with everything but in particular our just attentive enough server Kelly! We enjoyed it so much that we tipped over and above the already included gratuity for parties of 6 or more (we had 6 people). We will definitely be back in the future
Nice time, good food, quiet atmosphere making it nice for conversation with friens and family. Salmon ordered was perfectly cooked to specified request. Great Job Citroen Bistro!
I found this restaurant because it is really close to my house 4 years ago. I go there a few times a month because the food and service is always great. I go there to eat with my family and also to have a drink at the bar from time to time. Great place that is always friendly.
Always amazing FRESH food and delightful service!! One of our favorite places
Ambiance only 2 stars. The candle holder right next to table had cob webs. Makes you think whole place dirty. Hoping not so
We came here for a 26 friend get together and the staff were fabulous. We had been here many times before over the previous 10 years solo...so we're delighted to have the same great service and food with a large group.
Thanks for making our trip back to the USA great.

Food was not at all authentic Greek. Rice was undercooked. The chicken was disgusting pieces of what looked and tasted like parts I would throw away at home with skin. The tzatziki sauce
tasted like it came out of a can. The vegetables were palatable. Guilty pleasure: the deep fried
avocado appetizer! Although the place was packed, I would not recommend this restaurant if you want true Greek food.
It was so noisy, it was extremely difficult to hear the people at our table!
I'd passed this restaurant a hundred times but had never been inside...so glad we went! We had a wonderful comfortable evening, and our waiter, Kelly was so nice he made sure that everything was perfect. The food was excellent, fabulous lamb chops and great dolmades. Kelly gave wonderful wine suggestions. I expect that we will go back again soon... can't wait!
Went here because it was close to the hotel where my best friend since childhood was staying for a training. The appetizers we ordered to share we're delicious: coconut shrimp (with a standard asian-y orange dipping sauce), spanikopita with tzatziki was spot on and the lamp chop lollipops we're cooked to perfection. Nice wine list. Only reason I did not give 5 stars: our server was clearly a bit overwhelmed and while friendly that friendliness felt forced. We stayed a while but left 40% tip. Probably would have left more had he been more genuine. Top hits music was a bit too loud and didn't fit the atmosphere. But overall very good and I will go back.
Great family owned restaurant with amazing service!
Always enjoy the Citron! Very comfortable restaurant with great food and wait staff. Go there at least 2 or 3 times a month. Would absolutely recommend it!
As always great food and service for a reasonable price
On a recent trip to Denver, went to Citron for dinner. Made a reservation but that was not necessary since we were the only diners in the restaurant. After ordering our dinner came pretty quick but the quality and flavor was very disappointing. One other family came in during our dinner and they were the only other customers. We should have gone to another restaurant when we arrived and saw we were the only ones there. Would not recommend this restaurant.
Great meal, great service, reasonably priced. Very pleased with our New Year's Eve meal and experience at Citron Bistro. My wife and I definitely have this on our repeat restaurant list!!
EXCELLENT FOOD AND THE SERVICE WAS FANTASTIC, OUR WAITRESS WAS THE BEST!!
Always come for special occasions. We all order the flat iron steak. Yum.
Wonderful food at reasonable prices. Our new favorite restaurant in the area!
We wanted a not-too-noisy place so we could carry on a conversation. We were in the large private room with only one other couple (that was good) One person felt it was too sterile.
The cranberry salmon was good, the shrimp pasta OK, the beef swarma too tough.
I would come back again as the menu had many other choices.
we always enjoy our meal and the restaurant. Food is great, staff very friendly,
and we always go back.
This restaurant is always good. We got right in. Service was very good. Food was excellent . I had the chicken club and my husband had chicken fried chicken. With jalapeno gravy. Delicious. Desser,t, a berry tart. A very nice experience. Definitely recommend
We've tried Thanksgiving at a restaurant before but food, service, and seating were sub par.
Citron Bistro pulled it off quite well.
The only problem we had was that Open Table somehow changed our reservation from three people to two. When I called the restaurant they suggested I made have made a keystroke error but the restaurant accommodated us.
I have two reservation confirmations both with the same reservation number. The first confirmation was for three received shortly after I made the reservation on open table. The second...received the evening before Thanksgiving was for two. The error was not made by me.
I don't know who made the change.
