Service is always excellent at Citron Bistro; I don't know how they find such wonderful servers and front of house staff. One of my lunch companions eats gluten-free and was accommodated with no hassle. I was able to have a real cappuccino which is hard to find in a regular restaurant. I would be a regular if I lived closer!
Best lamb chops I’ve had in a while. Cocktail was good and wait staff attentive.
Food was great. Service was exceptional.
Really good food, great service, wonderful value.
Service was excellent and the server was very helpful. The calamari was best that we have had in Denver. It was so fresh that we had to wait a few minutes before we could eat it We both had the lamb shank. It was so tender that you could pull it off the bone just using your fork. he vegetables were properly cooked . The dish was plated very nicely. After we were finished eating we both said a little more sauce would have made the dish outstanding.
Michael was an attentive waiter. The food was delicious and plentiful.
Wide vying menu. All good!
Very good cocktails. Kudos to the bartender. Loved the lamb sliders. My husband enjoyed the Mediterranean pasta. Only disappointment was the $9 Greek salad - not a generous serving. This was what other Greek restaurants call a cucumber salad - cucumber, tomato, feta and olives. If this had been served on a healthy serving of lettuce, I would have been pleased. We were there on a quiet evening this time; when it's crowded, the noise level is "energetic."
So good and the pricesare very reasonable. We will being going back. The fried avocado was super.
The server was efficient but kind cold and abrupt. I had taken my friend there for her birthday. It was her first time at the restaurant and my second time. So we were not too familiar with the menu and were taking sometime to process it. The server seemed rushed and we felt she was rushing us to make a decision about what we wanted. We were there for a relaxed afternoon and not for a casual lunch. I had mentioned in the reservation that it was a birthday celebration. Leave alone giving a complimentary dessert,, the server didn’t even ask us if we wanted dessert or coffee. The food is great so I will go back.
Very nice atmosphere!
Warm, lively neighborhood ambiance in a restaurant that serves good food at very reasonable prices. Try the Greek dishes!
Sat on the patio for Father's Day Brunch. Everyone enjoyed their food. Dad's Lox Omelette was terrific, Eggs Benedict was good as were the Carnitas Scramble and traditional eggs & bacon. The patio was a bit noisy from street and parking lot traffic. Views were of the street and parking lot. Recommend restaurant try to add some greenery around the patio to improve the ambiance.
Great food, friendly service. Definitely check out their extended happy hour and the small plates at the bar. Great value for innovative Greek food
Come here often. Always the best food and service. Grilled salmon this time.👍
Luke is a fantastic waiter! Please, please, please make a larger batch of the lemon chickennsoup every week- as they often run out b4 I can get there!
Good food. Ladies bathroom smelled liked septic backup.
Hank, the waiter tried his best, but he was dealing with elderly ladies who don't always hear. Perhaps waiters should make sure they have the patron's attention before speaking, and not assume everyone has excellent hearing.
The mother's day brunch was just average. The food was nothing to write home about... definitely not worth the price. The crab legs were mushy and the hollandaise sauce tasted like it was from a powder. Our waitress was great... she was on top of everything, however the hostess had no personality. The upkeep of the restaurant was very poor. Paint touchups needed everywhere. It just looked run down to me. We won't be going back.
We always enjoy the brunch at citron bistro. They should consider doing it more often.
Mother's Day Brunch (2019) was outstanding! Good food, attentive service, and pleasant atmosphere.
Fantastic Mother’s Day Brunch! Really excellent food at a great price.
Excellent buffet delicious food and desserts, great service. I only wish they had French Toast or Pancakes.
We had a great time as usual. The food was delicious and the service was good.
Great place- bet chicken rice soup ever!
The service was very timely. Staff were very courteous & helpful. The buffet was one of the best I've seen & tasted in a long time. Will return soon
It was cold in the restaurant. Feel was old and shabby. Food was adequate.
We were seated at a two top next to a partition that overlooked the buffet items. One sneeze in the wrong direction, all of the patrons seated along this wall would contaminate the many salads situated just a foot below us. And there was a 1/8 inch coating of dust on the ledge there. It totally turned me off to this restaurant. It's filthy and the buffet was not set up optimally. The food was mediocre for the price of $41.00 per person. Yeah, nothing to write home about. I would not recommend them.
Easter Brunch was awful. Maybe the people there were like us and ate only because it was too late to go elsewhere. Meats were tough. Egg Benedict was cold. Bacon was so greasy it was disgusting. Sausage looked shriveled up.
The only things on the buffet worth eating were the ceaser salad and enchiladas with eggs and biscuits and gravy. Not worth going to an Easter Brunch just for that.
Excellent service. Lots of food choices. Never felt rushed. On time seating.
I would recommend Citron Bistro but not for their holiday buffet. They just don't seem able to do the buffet well and if it weren't the holiday it should have been half the price.
Service was good but some of the food was marginal, at best. The layout was confusing and people were on top of each other trying to get to the desserts, seafood, and entree plates - just too small of a space for all that. At times there were no plates.
The shrimp and very small crab legs were both tasty, steamed mussels were good but several were not open. Two items surprised me as being very good and they were the breakfast burritos and the biscuits and gravy. The carving station was set up poorly and the lamb very well done (as in overcooked and dry.)
I like the place and will continue to go back but not for this buffet on holidays.
Went for easter brunch and the food was very cold beef was like eating it right out of the refrigerator. Ham was just as cold. Eggs bacon sausage was all cold. We were sat next to a open door asked to move and they put us on the other side of the door. Cold breeze coming into the door. Very disappointing. Will never go back and dont recommend anyone going there . It was $126. For 2 adults and 1 child. For that money there alot better places.
We went to their fabulous Easter Buffet Brunch this year. It was the best buffet we have ever been to, and we have traveled the world, so yes, I am saying a lot. The huge variety of food was very good, hot, and plenty. The service couldn't have been better. We highly recommend trying one of their 4 holiday buffets a year that they have.
The dining was lovely. Not very loud, quite cozy. The food was nicely presented in therestaurant. The buffet had a lot of good choices. The omelets were excellent. Only thing that was an issue was that the sausage was not very flavorful and some items were not as hot as they should have been. Overall, I would go back again hoping that the food would be served a little hotter than cold
Great neighborhood gem and great owners Food is quality and good wine, beer, cocktails prices.
The veggie plate was delicious except for the dolmas. The beef in the French dip was tasty but tough.
Excellent service and food
