   The 3 for “service” is not about the wait staff. They were excellent. As was the food. The 3 is for two bizarre phone calls (within an hour of my reservation) that I got from Carmen at Citrine.

   Great experience. Went for brunch with wife and toddler son. Service prompt and efficient. Food was exceptional.

   We went during Saturday brunch. We had a reservation, so we were seated right away in the quiter section of the restaurant. The main part of the restaurant was pretty full, but it wasn't overly loud. We did have to wait longer than normal for someone to come and take our order, but the food was fantastic, and everyone was super mice. The server was very apologetic about the wait and gave us a free shot for our troubles.

   Our kids love this restaurant and it manages to achieve the rare combination of feeling like a special night out for the parents, but still family friendly. Love the bread, appetizer and grilled octopus and the cocktails are always spot on. And it sure doesn't hurt that the kid's meal comes with a free scoop of gelato!

   I think this is our new favourite restaurant in oak park. We had a truly delicious meal (shout out to the branzino special) and the staff were so friendly. Wish we could have ordered everything on the menu. Looking forward to the next time already.

   A friend and I went there to celebrate our birthdays and really enjoyed it. Our server was great, and the food and drink were exceptional. In the large room by the bar, many tables were full and we thought the noise level might get too high, so we asked for a quieter area and were taken to a booth in a different room, which was perfect.

    We had a fantastic evening at Citrine. # couples convened from different parts of the country so we had a late reservation. Our waitperson (Laura) was top notch, giving detailed, guidance on wines, patiently pacing our ordering and making us feel like she was only interested in our enjoyment of the evening. We were the last group remain in the restaurant, but were still offered a complimentary Limoncello after we had asked for our check. If u r in Oak Park, definitely recommend at least one meal at Citrine.
