One my favorite regular hangouts, Entire staff is "First Rate" but special kudos t our server Sierra and manager Josh for making our Anniversary celebration that more special. Cheers!
Wonderful food, wonderful service. Gary helped us order the perfect dishes and wine. The chopped salad really is that good. The scallops & grits were a hit. Everybody on staff that we encountered was knowledgeable about the ingredients in the dishes. Would visit again!
The snapper was seared too long and the fish was dried.
A friend recommended this restaurant to me, and also recommended some specific dishes, so we were educated before we arrived. We were not disappointed at all! Great happy hour too! If there was one thing we that wasn't "perfect" was the carrot cake. We were a little disappointed in that it was quite cold, and because of that, a little hard. I'm sure if we were there later in the evening, when it had a chance to get to room temperature, it would have been better.
My girlfriend and I visited on Valentine’s Day and enjoyed our time a lot, everything tasted pretty good, but the limited menu was a little bit of a turnoff. Will say the dessert was an average cupcake at best. Cocktails were very impressive, loved the “nobody’s poet” and the “worlds end”
Valentines Day menus are extra pricey so there's not a lot of added value for that occasion. That said, we were not disappointed with the experience. Food, mixed drinks, and service were top notch. Inside is typically noisy, so we opted for the patio this time, which is a great choice when weather is nice.
Price fixed menu for Valentines Day. Both entrees were extremely over salted. One entree was chicken & the other was fish. The fish was overcooked. The chopped salad was good. The chocolate cake was dry. Good selections on the wine list.
Food was great. Service was 4/5 stars. It may be slightly overpriced for the value offered, but overall pretty good.
Valentines dinner was terrible value. Had I known it was a set menu probably would have made another choice. When we arrived and saw 60 bucks for a few select menu items (meatloaf really?!) we were disappointed but stuck. Spent 200 hundred with tip for meatloaf a fish dish and 2 drinks. Loved what I saw on the regular menu but it wasn’t available. Service good but horrible value. Sorry
Excellent. Loved the vibe, food and service!
Chopped salad! Best restaurant in Phoenix Metro
We had great service, chopped salad was outstanding. Cocktails were fabulous. Alex the bar back who is 17 was so sweet and presented our chopped salad like a pro. Hannah the bartender was super sweet and made a great cocktail.
This place is the Bomb!
Arrived early for our reservations and were sat early. Enjoyed unique happy hour drinks and apps before an excellent dinner!
Great service & food. Always have a great experience when ever I dine here.
Always, always, always, great food, good service and did I mention consistently great food and good service. We will be back
Had an amazing time celebrating my birthday at Citizen with girlfriends! Great food and amazing staff!
Very accommodating with personal requests and food was delicious. Will definitely go back again and again
Best restaurant in Old Town Scottsdale with fabulous and creative cocktails!
Great service. Chopped salad and Mac n cheese were excellent. Duck breast was too rare even though we requested medium. Skin was not seared and crispy. Duck was tough not tender. The spinach was salty.
I was there 2 days in a row- one of my favorite places in Scottsdale! My waiter, Scott, was fantastic!!!
Service was great!!!
Food just wasn't special. For the appetizer, we ordered the cheese and salami board. It came with a couple of slices of hard cheese and a couple of slices of Brie. The toast was plopped in a bowl and was a little stale. There was a few dollops of mustard, some sort of pickled onions and cucumbers but overall, not impressed. I had the short rib that was overdone and dry. It came with Swiss Chard or something similar. It was chewy and not very good. They also served it with Parsnip puree or something similar. They should have just used nice, whipped potatoes. We had the bread pudding which was served cold and it seemed stale with some ice cream. I will not be going back.
Lived up to the hype. A delightful experience. Food was fantastic, and the service was even better.
Very nice restaurant located in old town Scottsdale. Service was wonderful food was great restaurant is super loud ambience is not there.
We ate on the patio where you want to be if noisy restaurants bother you. The food and service were perfect.
Coordinated with management for my parents to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary here. It all went off without a hitch. t\They had a wonderful meal, exceptional service and it was easy to coordinate from a different state. Thank you CPH for taking good care of two really great humans!
Duck was incredible, wonderful flavor and perfectly prepared.
Food and service outstanding!
Excellent service and food recommendations from the server
Good service, food & drinks!
The chopped salad is a perfect appetizer to share. Entrees are cooked to perfection, and the wine selection is excellent. As is the service. You do pay for the experience, but prices are reasonable for the service and food you receive.
They made my grandfather’s 89th birthday special with a sign on the table and a dessert with candle and asked us if we preferred a quieter table.
Great food. Chop salad amazing. Crab cakes ditto
2nd time at this restaurant. It's loud and the service is a bit iffy - our server didn't really listen to what we were saying - he'd ask a question and either he couldn't hear us or he didn't much care.
As everyone notes - the chopped salad is outstanding. However, they seemed offended when we asked for extra plates (4 of us split 2 salads). Might go back - might not...
Loudest restaurant I’ve ever been in. Couldn’t even have a conversation with the person across from me.
Great place for a drink and appetizer before a Thursday evening Art Walk. Easy to order off both the full menu and happy hour menu with good selections on both. The original chopped salad (to share) is a must.
The food was so fresh and amazing!! Drinks were good but a little on the odd side. When we did switch to just a regular Cosmo it was just ok. Limited beer selection but the food, ambiance and service made up for it.
Wanted friends to try the Chopped Salad and no one was disappointed! Menu can be difficult for non meat or pork eaters, though. Biggest issue is how noisy it is inside. Will probably wait till it warms up enough to sit on patio next time.
