I ordered the Roast Beef sandwich and it was huge! Too much food for one sitting. Be ready to share with your lunch companion. The sandwich was very good and I ended up eating all of it, despite the size. My lunch guest had the salad and she loved the Italian Salad Dressing. She said it was the best Italian dressing she has ever had. I would highly recommend this restaurant for lunch. The prices are a bit high at dinner time, but comparable to nearby restaurants in the city.

I got the Alfredo pasta with chicken and it was a child’s size portion- but for $25! I couldn’t believe my eyes. My husbands meal (chicken and veggies) was good but way overpriced as well. The service was good though. I will not be returning.

Crowded and too loud for discussions at noon but cleared out by 1pm. Wait staff friendly and prompt. Great spot for lunch. Pick two with salad and generous half salad is delicious and reasonably priced. Nice place!

My husband ordered the pork. It was so dry it was difficult to eat. He did not finish it. He had had the same meal in the past and it was very good so he was disappointed. We were seated at 6:45. We did not send it back because service was so slow that we barely finished in time for the 8 pm performance. We received our main course around 7:25. Not Citilights best night.

We had a nice meal. Prices are a bit high but the food was good. It's very convenient so you pay a bit for the ease of being right there before a show. The noise level increased a lot later in the meal as more people were milling in the lobby.

We had limited time to eat and make the evening performance. The staff were working in tandem and we had plenty of time to eat as well as relax before the performance.

Nice place for a pre-concert dinner/snack/drink. We sat inside, where it is much quieter. In the atrium there is often pre-conser music. So if you like music with dinner, sit out. More quiet/intimate? Sit inside

Somehow the excitement of dining at Citilites with friends before the performance has diminished substantially this past year. While wait staff are very welcoming and gracious, the dining experience has evaporated into mediocre at best. One of our group described the food as “cafeteria” food. Three of us asked for the halibut cooked lightly and moist. It came over cooked and dry. We have decided not to return for a while even though the location is the best to dine then see the show. Too bad but Citilites needs to get its act together and be the place to dine as it was in the past.

An excellent choice prior to a performance. My wife and I both had the filet, substituting asparagus for the choy. The asparagus was very tender and well prepared. Our filets were cooked exactly medium, as we requested, with no fat or gristle. The service was timely, attentive, but not over bearing. We had time for after dinner drinks before the performance. It was a good way to begin an enjoyable evening.

Wonderful salads. We always enjoy salad and an appetizer before the performances. Drink prices are a little on the high side compared to what we pay elsewhere.

Citilites is convenient for the theater. You only need to park and you are at both the restaurant and the show venue. We have dined there once before so we thought we would try again. This time we were somewhat underwhelmed. The noise level is high because the restaurant in in the atrium of the Schuster Center. These was a lovely small orchestra which played during dinner but it was a challenge to visit during dinner with the noise of the crowd and the music. Dinner was interesting: appetizers were very good, I had the Brussel Sprouts and my husband had the Steak Tartare; we all had the Tomato Soup which was warm but not quite hot enough for my taste; for the main course I had the Eggplant Napoleon and again it was served warm but not quite hot, and my husband had the Roasted Chicken which he enjoyed. We did not have dessert. Overall the convenience makes this a good choice, not the food.

Brussel sprouts appetizer is fantastic. And definitely enough for 2-3 people to share. Portions of the entrees are sufficient. My side of salad served with my meal tasted like the greens hadn’t been washed. Think this may have been a one-time oversight as they have always been fine in past dinners there. The waiter was very responsive and noted he would let the kitchen know of the problem.

Love the wintergarden salad. I have had it several times in the past but this visit I added the grilled chicken and it was very good. I think a good bread would be a nice addition
I would like to see the return of a half sandwich paired with the salad or soup.
I would be remiss not to mention the excellent service we received from our server Daria. Big kudos to her for making are dining enjoyable.

The drinks were great.

The appetizer.. cod special was horrible. Tasted like it just came out of a box

Ordered a mushroom Swiss burger and it had no flavor. Chips were good

Ordered Brie pasta. It was spaghetti noodles with a runny cheese sauce. Cost ... $19.... not worth the cost of this dish.

Service was slow. We had many times that we saw the waitress but she didn’t stop. She would come to one table and walk away and then come back out and go to another table and walk back.

Overall not a good experience. We will not be returning to this venue for dinner.

The last few times we've been to Citilites we have experienced slow and inattentive service. The food is delicious but the limited menu has not changed for months. We have always enjoyed eating there before a performance in the past but will probably eat somewhere else before the next show.

We have had several enjoyable meals at Citilites, but this unfortunately wasn't one of them. We arrived at 6:30 pm for a 6:45 pm reservation and was seated promptly. The drinks and one of our appetizers was delivered within 10 minutes of our seating. But our second order of appetizers never arrived and our entries were not delivered until 7:30 pm, leaving very little time before the 8:00 pm show. One of our guest had the filet, which they very much enjoyed. But myself and another guest had the Alfredo with chicken, which neither of us particularly cared for. The noodles and sauce were fine, but the chicken was very bland and tasteless. It saddens me to leave a negative response after so many wonderful visits.
