The food was just OK for a brunch setting. I experienced many of the entrees were warm to cold. Nothing was at the temperature one would be accustomed to for a restaurant. Selection could be better for the price. Bloody Mary however was very good.
Not impressed, expected more. Pros-we had a great view from our table, server was very attentive, fried chicken was very good, desserts were awesome. Cons-no egg dishes on a brunch buffet, other food just OK, dress code not consistent (two men fresh from the golf course, complete with golf shoes and ball caps.).
Maybe dinner is better, but I’m not inclined to risk a $100+ evening to find out.
The staff was awesome! Food was very good. Expected a bit more for the price.
Our family brunch for Father’s Day was absolutely wonderful and the service was incredible!
My boyfriend and I dined on a Saturday evening for the first time, expecting the hustle and bustle of a busy restaurant. However, here, we did not feel rushed or forgotten about during our dining experience, which is rare on a weekend. We loved the architecture of the house, and loved how they are using it as a restaurant. They sat us next to a window, which we loved. The view was so peaceful. The service is amazing—we adored Collin and appreciated his excellent wine recommendations and guidance through our first dining experience here. The food is spectacular. I started with the market square salad, and my boyfriend the cauliflower soup. It was the perfect beginning to a great meal. The cheese board was so impressive, and tasty! The Brussels sprouts with pork belly were also addicting, the sweet chili sauce makes it. We both ordered the filet entree with fingerling potatoes and asparagus, which was great! We ordered them medium, and they were slightly overlooked, but didn’t stop us from enjoying our entree. We took the peach cobbler to go to enjoy at home, and it was to die for. We will be back very soon with friends. We cannot wait to come back, and are so thankful for this gem of a restaurant.
My wife and I tried Citicos because someone gave us a gift card. Well I’ll be going back for sure. It’s a beautiful place and the food was just amazing. Hats off to the chef and all the support staff. It’s probably the best fila I’ve ever had and all the side dishes were delicious. Visit the down stairs area for sure and relax on the patio with a perfectly made drink or glass of wine. Top rated place in my book and can’t wait to go back.
Very good food in a very nice setting. They were busy with a wedding and other events which may have made the service, while very attentive a bit slow. Fish special was excellent. Filet a bit overdone. Will definitely give it another go. Maybe downstairs.
After an hour of not receiving our appetizers...we were told the Chef had not arrived yet. It was 8:30pm. We finally received our food and then dinner. Food was great, just disappointed in the chef. Wait staff was very apologetic/nice. Probably won't go back.
The Mother’s Day brunch was fabulous, great variety and service,as well a good value.
A beat the Mother's Day rush Saturday Dinner was spectacular - the view overlooking the lake, the quiet setting allowing conversation, and focused but varied menu with local ingredients made the dinner sublime. The wine choices were solid and for the most part reasonable. The youthful waitstaff was engaged and not intrusive. GET THE BRUSSELS SPROUTS!
Great food and service with beautiful view of Tellico Lake
Divine dinner and great staff! Will definitely visit again and also want to try Sunday Brunch, the menu sounded delicious.
Staff was very attentive and accommodated all of our requests with ease. Very good food
We had Sunday Brunch after Easter and the food was delicious. The service is outstanding, the chefs and servers would talk to you and ask if they can do anything for us. It is one of our favorites and go to places. The place was packed. My bloody mary was excellent, great coffee. The only item on the menu I would say was not up to par was the fried chicken. The wings were just right but the breast were a little dry. The thighs were very good according to my wife. Look, you won't break the bank at this place, but you will experience fine dining with the best service around. We will definitely be going back again.
Me and my wife recently had Valentine's Day dinner and it was so enjoyable that we ended up bringing my Mother for Sunday Brunch. It was absolutely delicious! we will be back!
Excellence food , amidst is amazing. Life just relaxing. Place close to the city but far away from hustle and bustle.
I ordered the short ribs entree and it was delicious. However, the other three in our party were somewhat disappointed. The bison ribeye had a grisly vein running through it and the other dishes were not explained well, so their dished were not what they expected. We still had a wonderful evening.
A+ meal and service (thanks Ashley). Worth the drive for a wonderful dinner. You won’t be disappointed. Have yet to try the Sunday brunch but have heard good things.
Awesome meal. Attentive service.
While everything was presented beautifully, the taste of the dishes were just okay. One exception, the Brussel sprouts were Devine! Wife definitely did not care for the chicken fried lamb chops. Beautiful place and pleasant servers.
Once again, we’ve just had a wonderful evening at Citico’s! Chef Robert and all the staff were extremely attentive and friendly. Every dish was phenomenal. My husband and I personally love the brussel sprouts starter. It’s always a pleasure and worth the drive!
Beautiful setting for restaurant. Excellent service. Food was very good and unique. Portion of entrees was small.
We were going to a Lady Vols game that day and we decided to have brunch on the way up. What we found at Citicos was great food and no so loud like most brunch places are around this area now. Best Prime Rib I have eaten in years. Much to choose from. Staff was friendly. Just to be in a hurry some of the service is slow due to they also cook items off the menu to go with the brunch.
The service was quick, attentive and efficient. The food was almost too good. We ate much more than intended. We also had a lovely table by the window although after a winter rainstorm the view was not what it is in the spring.
Citico is a regular dining venue for our special occasions.
Keep up the great work.
Great ambience and food! Perfect for a special occasion.
Citico always offers a superb meal and wonderful atmosphere. The chef is fantastic and the dishes are carefully prepared and always excellent. The staff is so friendly and accommodating, and the wine list is fantastic. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in East TN.
After spending almost $900 on dinner my party and I decided to go downstairs for one more cocktail before leaving. We were quickly approached by staff and told that we would need to pay an additional $25/person to be able to stay downstairs. I found this very unprofessional and poor business conduct.
Great restaurant, location and facilities top notch, food and selection excellent. I have been to this restaurant 6 times, my only issue is you need to check your bill. Only restaurant I frequent where they consistently make errors on the bill, not minor ones, but major, need to check your bill before you pay.
This was our second visit. Went on Christmas Eve. The buffet was wonderful and the decorations were beautiful. The roasted brussel sprouts were to die for! If I could afford it, we'd make it a monthly outing. Can't do a $100+ dinner for 2 very often but this was a great dining experience!
As always Chef Allen delivers a great brunch! Dinners are terrific but, I really love the special occasion brunch.
Citico is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is consistently good, a little pricey, accompanied with an ambience conducive to good conversation without having to shout to be heard. This is a not a place to come if you expect plates piled high with food. The portions are more appropriate in size and excellent in quality.
Love this restaurant however this was not the typical experience. It was a buffet and we had a rather late reservation. The food was cold clearly picked over and some items in short supply or nonexistent. Service was great and of course you can’t beat the ambiance. Certainly not our best experience.
We left on Sunday talking nonstop about all we enjoyed at brunch. The most flavorful prime rib that I have ever eaten, the taste of rosemary making it so. Wonderful gumbo - our guest's four bowls full attesting to its rich flavor. Creamy mac and cheese, a step high above most restaurant 's version. These were just some of the highlights which will make us return soon. The window table gave us a perfect view on the lovely fall day. With excellent service as well, it was a fine decision to dine here on our way to Dollywood. Worth the $25 - Yes.
Ambiance is wonderful - hard to find around Lenoir City/Maryville. Loved the lake view and the food was terrific! Would definitely go again. although has to be for brunch because dinner is out of our price range.
This was my second dining experience here. The first was a dinner and this experience was to try the Sunday Brunch. The food was delicious and there were many options to chose from. I thought a few more desserts could be offered. It is worth the drive and the setting is so relaxing and peaceful.
The staff was very observant and especially helpful. The meals were well prepared and exceptionally tastey. Really nice night.
We had a great experience. Service was excellent. I found the menu to be somewhat limited.
