Ciro's Italian Grill
Super friendly service, very elegant ambience, and not bad prices!
I love Ciro's and how everyone treats you like you are family!
Its really changed a lot over time. The service was straight up bad. Waiters just standing around on their phones, Peroni was hot and continually looking for our waiter. It used to be one of our favorite places for lunch but I think we will be looking for a new go too.
We were seated immediately and visited by our server. It was particularly busy this evening - maybe due to pre- Valentine diners. We had very good service and the food was excellent. It was extremely noisy in the alcove we were in. Other than that, we enjoyed our dinner.
Great service...chicken Caesar salad was not the best I have had.
We were given and charged the wrong bill; seriously how could that happen; unsure when I will go back
We were there for a business lunch, so a quiet spot was important. They seated us in the outside covered and enclosed patio area around a corner. Very conducive in conducting business. BTW, the food is GREAT and the service TERRIFIC! This was my second time and both experiences consistently excellent.
The server made us feel extremely rushed in the process of ordering. After main courses before the rest of my family was done my pizza had been cleared and packed. At one point even though my mother was eating all plates on the table were cleared and she was the only one left with cutlery and plates on the table. After giving us the desert menu it took our server 20 minutes to come get our order. Despite the reservation note saying it was my mother's birthday and me confirming with the hostess before we sat down our "Tiramisu" was just put on the table without a candle or any message.
I had high hopes for a family friendly good food lunch but unfortunately this was far from the case.
Food took unreasonably long and not only our table but all tables around us. Order was incorrect after all the wait and the food that arrived was poorly executed.
Even when trying to pay the bill I had to “track down” the manger that took my card after several minutes of waiting.
Wanted to support local restaurants but we will not be returning.
Food had no seasoning. Fish was overpriced and bland tasting. Very disappointed.
always fun here. birthday for friend. Nice day. One dish, the Hilton Salad, was not enjoyed by guest.
Fabulous meal. Best Italian food in Houston!
Wonderful service from the host to the waiter to the manager! Love it !!!
Ciros is the best family restaurant around. The waitstaff is great, food is yummy and it is reasonably priced. We recommend it to everyone and probably go at least once a week!
My favorite Family Italian in Houston for 30 years. Great food and wine very reasonably priced. Every time I go, it's like going home.
Had 6:30 reservation and wasn’t seated till 6:55. Reservation meant nothing!
Absolutely without a doubt the best Italian restaurant in Houston! Had another wonderful experience at Ciro's just like I did 30 years ago at Ciro's original location. Can't wait to return.
Always amazing! Never disappoints!
If you have a family with 5-11 year olds, this is a great place to go. The kids love it and the adults can relax with a glass of wine and good Italian food.
Great service and great table.
We love this place. They are very accommodating with the kids and loved the small band they had.
Best restaurant in Houston overall. Love it.
We went on New Years Eve, so it was quite crowded, but had a reservation and got our table outside on the patio within 5 mins of our reserved time. The band on the patio was a nice surprise and we really enjoyed it. Bellini was tasty, but not much alcohol in it. I had the spinach gnocchi with Italian sausage that I would highly recommend. The service was a little slow on refills of drinks and water. I will return to try more dishes.
Celebrated our anniversary with good friends with a great meal in the Wine Room. Excellent service, and compliments all around the table on the food.
Came here for a birthday dinner and it was a great experience. I forgot our server’s name but he was incredible. Service started with warm bread and olive oil dip. Our server recommended a soup that wasn’t on the menu and the soup was freshly cooked. You can tell it wasn’t sitting on a warm pot. Everyone enjoyed their dish, I ordered the chicken parmigiana with fettuccine alfredo. The alfredo sauce was the best I ever had. This may depend on which server you get but he added some time between courses so we’re not fully stuffed. For desert we all ordered some espressos and they were hot and tasted great. Highly recommend the tiramisu, one can feed about 2-5 people. Can’t wait to come back. Only rated 4 stars for ambiance as the website stated live-music everyday, but we didn’t see any the night we were there. (12-27-19)
Great family restaurant and the pizzas are very good.
Generous appetizer portion and delicious as well (sausage and peppers).
So much that we only order salad (arugula again delicious) to share instead of mains. Great value dinner for us!
Waited a bit to be acknowledged and by that I mean we ate a backer if bread before the waiter came to our table but other than that was good as always
The food was amazing but our waiter ignored us the entire meal after he took our order. We never saw him during our meal and he never came over to ask us how our meal was or refill our drinks. We had to flag him down to get our check. It is such a shame when the food was so delicious that a waiter can make it such an unpleasant experience. I was out with my husband for dinner for my birthday and I would have gladly gone somewhere else for better customer service.
As usual the food was delicious and the wait staff courteous. However, the problem is getting past the hostess stand. They seem to run 2 lists. One for online reservations and one for walk-ins. The reservations do not take priority over the walk ins. We waited 30 minutes for a table and a manager finally took pity on us and seated us in the bar area. Maybe just more training is needed at the front of the restaurant. They were busy, but not unmanageable.
They sat us in a small room that had a holiday party. Hard to hear ourselves talk. My chicken dish tasted good but had a terrible stomach ache a few hours later. The service was very good.
The food and atmosphere is consistently good. Go a lot and sit on the patio so my son and his friends can play on the big open turf field.
One of my favorite places in town for lunch. Great food, great service and convenient location within the Energy Corridor. I love that Ciro and the family are still involved and it is just another chain.
Great food service and atmosphere!
Great atmosphere, service and food
Can be VERY loud, be ready to shout. Food is good, service is good, ambiance is good.
Outstanding. My last visit was more than several years ago and I was not disappointed. Everything about Ciro's was great.
We all had a wonderful dinner. No doggie bags, it was that good
We asked the hostess for a quiet place where we could visit and she sat us in the back room. It was perfect!
