I've been going to Cirella's for years now and whenever my manager is in town, we come here. He loves the Shrimp Scampi and even though it's not technically on the menu, Cirella's was more than happy to accommodate him. From the delicious bread that comes out with the ever so slightly spicy olive oil, to the massive appetizers and delicious entrees, I'm a big fan. I had a special appetizer that night, the Bucatini pie, which was delicious and it hit the spot. The service was excellent. Our waiter Justin was super friendly and always checked in on us. Everything was top notch and if I was hungrier, I would have gone for the prix fixe. Great value at $35 and the food my Italian mother-in-law would have given the thumbs up. I'll be back again and again and again. Thanks Cirella's and Justin for making our dinner so enjoyable.
As usual the food was fantastic and our sever Caitlin was wonderful. It's an amazingly run restaurant. Every employee is eager to assist each others and the patrons. It's a pleasure to visit this fine restaurant. Hats off to the owners.
Live in the neighborhood so my family wanted to go.. Our waiter named justin was great. very helpful and gracious. Not rushing us at all. Always had my water glass full and i drink a lot of water. The appetizer was not rushed and the main course came out very hot!!! I like my food served hot. If not it goes back!!!! Did not have room for dessert maybe next time. U cant go without a reservation. They try to seat promptly but we waited about 10 minutes. We shall return!!!
Been here several times food and service where great. Would return to this restaurant again. Nice place.
Always great food. Great service too. Bar in front for lee dinner cocktail. Everyone is nice
Our 3rd visit and the first time we were disappointed. It was Valentines Day and the owners had way to many tables out. They were greedy so the wait staff could not walk around. They literally were bouncing off of customers chairs. It was very uncomfortable to eat like this. We ordered the seafood dish for 2. The portion was too tiny for 2 people, there were only 2 shrimps in the dish and the quality of the seafood was subpar for a restaurant. I have received better seafood from Shop-rite.
Food, service, value and atmosphere were all good for lunchtime dining. Not a standout in any way, but good.
Fish was perfectly prepared Caesar salad large enough to share and good. Veal tender and brussel sprouts outstanding
Apple crisp larged enough to share for thed table
Great time everyone one is pleasant and accommodating.
Everything was delicious and served in generous portions from the wine to the salad to the mains
Food and service were excellent!! Can't wait to go back.
we live in the neighborhood and decided to give it another try. Last time i was there we had reservations but yet waited 1 hour. NO apology or invite to have a drink so we left. But we decide to give it another chance. We were very happy as they sat us right away. The place was crowded as it was a saturday night. Our waitress was very nice especially always keeping our water glasses filled.. That is important to us! Dinner was delicious. Had sauteed calamari which was very good.. It was enough for the 4 of us. I love the fact that they have healthy choices. Had zucchini style pasta with shrimp. Very good and took 1/2 home, My husband had chicken parm and omg the largest portion i have ever seen He who never takes anything home took some home. We all enjoyed our meal but the only negative is.... the noise level Not a date night place. Very loud and a little hard to have a conversation. Not sure if anything can be done. however we shall return maybe not on a saturday night!
The atmosphere is very nice, not loud, cozy. The food is amazing, very tasty, had enough for the next days lunch left over. The waitress we had was very friendly and on top of it all. She was always there when we needed her. Great service over all. Highly recommend the restaurant.
The seafood Zuppa di pesce is the best!! I don't come to Melville often but Cirellas is a must stop for dinner for me.
Met a girlfriend for dinner. I’ve eaten here many times before and always had a pleasant meal. We started with a salad to share, and it was pretty awful - it was described to be roasted vegetables with arugula and some other stuff, if I recall the menu description. It arrived with big hunks of raw carrot and parsnip, over some arugula and goat cheese - it was pretty awful. Spoke to the waitress about it, who said it was new to the menu and she would tell the chef. I expected it would be taken off the bill, but it wasn’t. Main courses were oversauced and heavy. Perhaps it was an off night, but we won’t be returning soon.
