Cirella's an italian bistro & sushi bar - Bonita Springs Ratings and Reviews
Waited over 30 minutes for food while several people who arrived after we had ordered received their food ahead of us. No explanation or apology was made. I can only assume our waitress forgot to put our order in. While there we saw another table leave after waiting almost as long for their meal. Management must not be paying attention. The food was good.
My wife and I had driven past Cirella’s multiple times and chose today to give it a try. We wish we’d stopped in long ago! My wife enjoyed the Wedge Salad and I enjoyed my Caprese. Our entrees were wonderful - she loved the Shrimp Linguini and I had the Linguini Pescatore (shrimp, clams, mussels, calamari and scallops) with the “Diablo” red sauce - huge and perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of heat and absolutely scrumptious! A bottle of Montepulciano from their cellar and a slice of the best Key Lime Pie ever and perfect, friendly service from our server Ashley and were were two very happy people!
Absolutely THE most rude, surly, and inefficient waitress we have ever had. Disgrace to the restaurant. Never introduced herself so don’t know her name. Maybe because she has been complained about before.
Will never go back- and have told others. Apparently others have had service issues as well.
Food was just ok.
“Dewars on the rocks, no fruit” came back as Grey Goose on the rocks. Maybe it was my Boston accent, but Dewars and Grey Goose don’t sound alike to me.
Tuna Tataki was quite good, Black Dragon roll was much better in the description than on the plate.
The bottle said Low Sodium Soy Sauce but the consistency was more like Mirin. Don’t not know why.
My companions had Italian dishes - cacciatore and eggplant parmigiana- and were happy.
Escolar on the menu? Really? This is such a bad sushi fish that a number of countries ban it altogether, including Japan where they know a bit about sushi. Look it up on Wikipedia.
Didn’t want to totally throw the place under the bus so 4 stars, but not recommending until I try it again with better results.
We eat here frequently. Maybe it was just an off night but our food was not up to par.
The calamari was sent back because it was rubbery. Our waitress couldn't have been nicer about rectifying the situation but the second batch was only a tad better.
We had guests with us who had never been to Cirella's before. I doubt if they will go back.
We will, but hope it will be the Cirella's we love next time.
It was our first visit to Cirella's and it won't be our last. From start to finish we were delighted. We shared the Insalata Cirella's which was delicious and a slightly different take on your usual side salad. I ordered the chicken cacciatore which I loved. My husband had the tortellini bolognese which he enjoyed. Our server was delightful as well which made the whole meal a wonderful experience.
Delicious authentic food if you can deal with the excessively noise dning room. Excellent service and reasonably priced menu. We will return, but perhaps some night other than a busy Saturday. Although we had a 8pm reservation we had to wait 20 minutes at the bar.
