Delicious king crab legs - went back twice.
For the cost - The food was not all that- specially the sea food - it was very below par for the Breakers.
Even in spite of the COVID modifications, The Breakers still delivers an incredible experience. The food and service are both fantastic. Expensive, yes, but for a special event, few do it better.
Great as always, this is a treat not to miss!
What a great experience! We were celebrating a birthday and it was well worth it.
Excellent brunch. It is expensive but considering the offerings, it is a decent value. Especially, if you ever want to feast on lobster, jumbo shrimp, oysters and alaskan king crab legs and caviar all prepped to eat without the hassle. The buffet servers are all very generous and the wait staff is delightful and keep your drinks filled. I had a full handful of cocktails while we enjoyed an anniversary brunch. Will definitely go again.
Excellent meal with outstanding staff! Would absolutely do this again. Worth every penny.
Make sure you request an east window table to view the ocean.
Absolutely loved the selection of food and outstanding service. However, we were double charged for our brunch? Hoping this will fix itself, as I have tried to call numerous times to have them adjust the duplicate amount. Thank you.
Another great brunch at The Breakers on a Sunday. Been coming here for over 10 years now for the brunch on special occasions. Food is always excellent.
Stone crab and champagne was incredible. Great service!
Great food and service but be prepared to spend upwards of $700 for 4 people.
Great experience for celebrating our 30th anniversary. Very overpriced ,
But you only live once
Selection severely reduce from the last time we was there. I raved to my friends and they decided to come with us and I was so embarrassed when I saw the spread. Disappointed was an understatement. Never again.
The Best! You must experience it!
Excellent service and food in a beautiful hotel..
I was warned not to expect anything special with regards to the food. However, I didn’t expect inedible food. The ambience is beautiful and the service was good. But it was literally painful to shell out $145 per person plus an automatically added 20% service charge for a buffet for this experience.
Perfection! I would definitely recommend the brunch experience at the Breakers for a special celebration.
Yolanda was terrific and very prompt!!!!
Thank you very much!
We have had Sunday brunch at The Breakers many times and we were thrilled to learn they were open. We had early afternoon reservations for 4 and had a lovely table near the windows. The PROS: tables were respectfully not too close to each other and the timeless ambiance was tangible. The hotel, table, and buffet stations were all spotless. Guests were not allowed to serve themselves at the buffet-there were staff members to serve whatever you wanted on your plate. The usual shrimp, caviar, king crab legs, and lobster tails were all offered. The CONS: At $145pp, the offerings did not match previous experiences here. Tiny roasted potatoes, vegetable pilaf, and mushroom risotto were 3 of the cheapest sides they could have had. Pancakes (not cooked to order), bacon strips, eggs Benedict, and morning potatoes have no place at such a pricey buffet. Desserts were tasteless although one stood out for most at our table-Kudos to a chocolate/peanut butter pastry. The service at the table was almost non-existent…until it was time to drop our check that had gratuity added. Water glasses never got refilled, soiled/used plates never got cleared, and the elegance of the atmosphere was lost to poor service. We all take things with a grain of salt these days and embrace the post-pandemic service industry BUT this level does it get a hall pass…..it simply doesn’t. It will be a long time before we consider returning.
We were shopping the Breakers as a wedding venue
Overall a very pleasant experience. Of course, the room itself is amazing and lends to an enjoyable experience. The wait staff is terrific and Mimosa's or Bloody Mary's flow constantly. Lots of different food stations with selections ranging from breakfast items to lunch to dinner plus pasta and sushi stations and amazing dessert station plus cooked to order dessert crepes. Really, more food than anyone other than a teen-age boy could consume. It isn't inexpensive and if you are a light eater, probably not a good value. The one big-eater in our group of 6 loved it all and sampled every station. I would have preferred if this were an evening event instead of brunch. It's hard to have 3 cocktails at noon! One downside was the harp music was a lovely touch, but it got very loud and made conversations difficult. I think of harp music as being soft and mellow - he was a talented musician but I would have preferred background music so as not to interfere with friends conversations.
Great setting and service you would expect at the Breakers but the offerings are limited and not that great anymore. Small lobster tails, lobster claws, cold crab legs, basic sushi, past dishes that were not special, tiny basic salads and a few other items. The desserts were pretty and tasted okay. Overall very basic options at a premium price. Unlimited cheap sparkling wine is included.
I would say that it is fun to be in The Breakers but the quality is just fair and it is overpriced. Definitely not worth the almost $200 pp price!
Service was non existent ! For$145.00 p/p the least I expect is excellent service. Constantly flagging the server for everything from salt and pepper to removing used dishes to utensils. Once we asked for coffee - one hour after we sat she automatically brought us the bill and disappeared. Why? I was just getting started on dessert and still wanted my included mimosa. She didn't care after all 20% tip is automatically added to the bill.
Now the food- Everything was at room temperature- the lobster claws were dirty - had hemolymph (the white gelatinous stuff) all over them - ugh! not cleaned properly and thrown on the dish, by the server. The shrimp was not on ice, seemed pan cooked, sprinkled with paprika but yet in the "cold section", lemon wedges were combined in the serving dish with the shrimp (should be separate), cold and in a sleeve to avoid pits from falling into plate. Had to wait for cocktail sauce. The servers at the stations were working several areas at once and were not very helpful or happy. No salads, rice, pasta- only thing to accompany the protein was potato's - really? ham & roast beef under the usual lamp, lamb lollipops all cold. Overall, food is pedestrian, insipid and cold. More like tapas rather than a meal. Champagne is Cooks! Cheapest champagne you can buy in any grocery store. Add to that 20% tip for food you serve yourself.
The sushi section is a joke! The crepes are pre made and cold (should be warm)
Desserts were beautiful but lacked flavor (not sugar)
To end the afternoon we questioned the 35.00 valet charge only to find out it's included in the brunch - they had made a mistake and given us the wrong ticket. If I wouldn't have asked I would have been stiffed another 35.00
WOW! Never again.
Brunch in the Circle Dining room at the Breakers is an experience you must have once in a lifetime, especially after COVID!
Enjoyed the Sunday Brunch. Service is outstanding....never an empty glass!
Great ambience and service. Our waiter, Mauricio was very good.
Worth every penny. Incredible food, incredible place!!!
I had never heard of Circle Brunch at the Breakers until a friend mentioned it. This is not for the faint of heart, the price is steep for a brunch at 145/person plus tip and taxes. However, we are moving and my wife really wanted to try this before we left and Mother's Day is right around the corner. The Breakers hotel is known for being a high-end hotel. My expectations were equally high. I was not disappointed. We were immediately seated with a decent view of the water through a large window. The buffet options are definitely amazing. I had several servings of caprese salad, sushi, lamb chops, crap, lobster tail, caviar, raw oysters, and a pecan tart. My wife had several types of salads and a large selection of desserts. All of this was washed down with bottomless mimosas that were constantly filled by responsive service. This is certainly not something we do often. Would I do this again? Maybe. At $400 all-in for two people, I would likely only do this as a very special occasion like a birthday or anniversary.
Not worth the money
Dirty dishes weren’t cleared in a timely manner. Refills on water and soft drinks were slow and limited. Bowl for bones was removed to empty but never replaced. We were also there in December and the service was exceptional.
A beautiful setting and gourmet food. It was a memorable meal! Service was excellent.
I was expecting more. For the steep price, I expected better quality food and service. The lobster was chewy, the food flavor was just OK. The servers at the buffet station didn’t seem like they cared too much about their job. No interaction, very cold personnel along with the wait staff. Upon arriving we were told that we had two hours to eat and leave. Kinda puts a bad taste in your mouth (no pun intended). Will not be doing brunch at the Breakers ever again. Not worth the $$$.
This is one of those super special brunch experiences that if you find the time and money , do not resist. it is exceptional, and just eating the seafood alone can pay for the price. The food is delicious and prepared beautifully. Ambience beyond comparison . Just a lovely experience all the way around.
Amazing views in such a unique room. Ocean views great light and elegant decor.
The spread at the buffet offers everything from classic brunch food such as omelette station, pancakes, bacon etc to unique seafood items such as stone crabs lobster tails and more.
The service is top notch from mimosas, bloody Mary’s to espresso and amazing coffee.
A must for all true brunch fans looking for the best there is !
My friends and I decided to treat ourselves out to brunch at the Circle last Sunday. Even though We made reservations two weeks in advance, it was difficult finding any time before 2 o'clock. When we arrived, we were seated right away. The room was beautiful and spacious and airy, incircled by glass windows. It was a gloomy day out, but the ambiance of the Circle overshadowed that gloominess. Our server started right away with the bottomless mimosas! The service was impeccable and the food was amazing with a variety to satisfy variant palates. If you're looking for special place to treat yourself or a friend to a decadent meal, the Circle is definitely the ultimate experience!
It was great to go to a beautiful brunch There were some really nice things about the brunch - sushi, lobster claws, lobster tails, stone crabs, shrimp, and amazing desserts. Also, bottomless mimosas, bloody Marys, and sangria was included in the price, Some things could be improved. The prime rib was delicious, but they didn’t have any au jus. Every brunch has that for the prime rib. They didn’t have any hot vegetables to go with the ham and prime rib. I was looking for asparagus, broccoli, squash, some kinds of vegetables. They only had breakfast potatoes. Also, the salads were lacking. They didn’t have any greens. The only salad they had was a cold green beans, almonds, and cranberries. We didn’t think the price was high considering they had things like smoked salmon, lobster, stone crabs, shrimp, sushi, and some alcohol included. If they add some interesting salads and warm sides to go with the meat, this would be a 5 star brunch. The atmosphere is fantastic. The room is beautiful and there is a harp player.
Expensive, but worth it for a special occasion. Everything is top notch. After all, it's The Breakers. Don't expect anything less.
Best Easter experience for a restaurant I ever had. I will definitely going back next year. Very expensive, 700.00 for 3 people for Brunch. We enjoyed the gift bags not a lot in it but appreciated.
