I had a great time, I love that they gave me a card for my birthday and a free dessert.
Everything and all the service was outstanding. Went back to back for dinner!!
Great place to catch a bite near The George Washington University. We were a party of 6 and all items that were ordered were prepared well and delicious. We will definitely return on our next visit to D.C.
Excellent service and friendly staff!
Consistently good food at Circa once again! Ate dinner there before a Kennedy Center show, took one star off only because the noise level on the outdoor patio (TVs, nearby tables) was very loud, despite regular city noise, but not the worst thing ever.
The service was very fast and the food was excellent.
Great food and convenient. Outside area is nice but noise levels a little high because of street noise and the hospital. Would be a little better if they turned off the music (which you couldn't listen to anyway)
Great meal. Great service
Good cocktails and mocktails. Great variety of dishes and they were all enjoyed by our group. Overall, a delicious evening with a casual, but upscale vibe.
We had a table reserved for five and the table was ready and in a quiet corner where we had privacy and a nice view of the outside. The food and drinks were excellent. We each ordered different items and they all looked delicious! I will definitely return to Circa. We told our waiter that we wanted to eat and "run" so that we could catch the bus to the Kennedy Center across the street. Our food came out quickly and service was great!
The food was outstanding and the service was good.
Must visit when in DC. Fantastic food. So fresh and one of the best meals I have had in while.
Great brunch menu!
The staff were very attentive and accommodating. Loved being on the outside patio. Salmon and seared tuna were perfection, and the crispy brussel sprouts appetizer absolutely outta this world.
We met at Circa for a pre-concert dinner. It’s menu worked for all of us. The Brussels sprouts + blue cheese app was delicious. I wanted scallops, but they were out, so I went for a kale + Quinoa bowl. Delicious! My one sister had a flatbread pizza and the other had a Caesar with chicken. The entrees were too big. We split the bread pudding for dessert. Yum! I had a Sauvingnon Blanc which did not stand up to the kale & quinoa, oh well! Service was great — very attentive without being annoying. For our three-course dinner, we were there for two hours. Lovely!
Great mimosas, food was good and the prices are reasonable. Will definitely come back here. The waiter made the best cappuccino I have ever had in USA.
Great place to grab a bite and drink. Nice atmosphere. Love the patio seating.
Q was an excellent server, food was delicious and timing was perfect
My only complaint is that the music inside the restaurant was extremely loud given the few number of patrons present. Perhaps if we were dining outside the loudness of the music would not have been an issue. Made table conversation difficult. Food good, service great.
The server was friendly and attentive. The food was served in a reasonable amount of time and it was hot and cooked as ordered.
Food was very flavorful. It looked like regular salad but salmon was cooked perfectly and dressing was tasty. Service was good though not particularly friendly but it was efficient. A good place for business lunch.
Delicious food and great service, as always! Really enjoy the outside dining option.
Food was awesome. Service sucked. They gave us someone else's tab which would've been cheaper. We waited 20 mins to request dessert to go and get the check because our server disappeared.
A neighborhood gem!
The food was simply outstanding and we are already planning a return visit. Everything came out hot and fresh.
The fried calamari appetizer and the sliders were really amazing as a start to the meal.
The risotto with scallops, braised short rib and chicken were all just delicious- the sauces paired so well with the entrees and the mashed potatoes were creamy and perfect.
As a grande finale we had the dark chocolate torte and the bread pudding. We all thought our tastebuds had died and gone to heaven.
Our server was warm, professional and really attentive.
We would highly recommend this spot for any occasion!
We made a reservation and were seated inside immediately. I ordered the Vegetable Quinoa bowl with chicken. One of my friends ordered the Blackened Mango dish and my other friend ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. We all agreed that the food was delicious and the menu was very creative. However, we were slow to receive our meals and the noise level was very high and it was difficult to hear each other at times.
Always great food and service. Have been there 5 or 6 times and have never been disappointed.
Service was great. Server was friendly. Love the food. You should bring back the spinach and artichoke dip!
We flew in for college visits and are staying near the GWU campus and looked for a restaurant in walking distance in the heart of GWU. We were able to book a 9PM reservation, and when we could go earlier, the hostesses graciously accommodated us and our request for patio seating. Everything was wonderful - from the menu, wine list, non-alcoholic cocktails and food choices. Service was attentive and helpful. If the kid chooses DC, we will return.
Food was very good as in previous visits. Notably, the service was very good. Our server was friendly and provided a high level of service. Food pacing was just right.
excellent service, and great day to enjoy the patio
Great place to eat in foggy bottom. I have been here several times and the food is always delicious. It’s a bit noisy inside and of course outside with sirens and people since it’s right on the street but nonetheless it is a great place to eat.
Not any stand alone vegan options, only “ well, we can remove this or that.” This is disappointing in today’s day and age.
The service was very good; our waitress was patient and knew the menu very well. We started with the house salad, which was delicious, I loved the dressing!
I had the scallops, my husband had the lobster ravioli, and they were both excellent. Also, the food came very quickly, which was great, since we were going to see a show at the Kennedy Center.
Great food, great service!
Absolutely awful experience - waiter forgot about our table, we had to move inside because we were seated next to a table of 12 who were drunk and shouting at each other, and the food (we both got salads) was absolutely mediocre. The mixed drinks were heavy on the alcohol. The only decent thing we ate were the bulgogi appetizers.
Great covered outdoor patio and it looks like they have heaters for potential extension of the season for those of us still not interested in sitting inside. Delicious kale salad (more people would eat kale if they had it like this) and everything else was good too. I'll be back!
This was a big win for a business lunch for my boss!
Great food. We were there in the afternoon and service was good. Had a mixup with my order but our server immediately fixed it and was super great about everything.
It was definitely a nice setting both inside and outside. The Cesar salad with salmon was delicious. I had the seared scallops on a bed of risotto with pesto. I was not wowed. The scallops were fresh but felt dish could have been seasoned a bit more. My friend had the Brick chicken with mashed potatoes and broccolini. Again, I felt the dish could have been seasoned a bit more. Chicken was tender but overall food was not especially memorable. Waitstaff and hostesses were all very accommodating and attentive. Might try again.
Food was good and lots of choices. Service was a little slow but that seems normal these days
