Cipriani - Wall Street

Overpriced and the food just frankly isn’t good.
I went there specifically for the calves liver and they didn’t have it.
The service is horrible! The restaurant in London is better, they know the meaning of the service... .
Appetizer not so good - was soup but more like a can of red beans in a bowl. Main pasta dish was really good and dessert made up for it.
The lunch special is a great value. Our server, however, neglected to say that when presenting the cakes. I couldn’t have eaten it, but should have been asked as part of the lunch fixe.
Tired and overpriced. Needs a serious facelift.
I'd been wanting to try Cipriani's for a while and finally visited with my girlfriend on a Tuesday night at 8pm. Only 4 tables were taken but then it was Tuesday so I guess it's rarely going to be busy in most places.
I ordered a the filet mignon with peppercorn sauce, which although was well cooked, the whole dish was too salty. Should have ordered sauce on the side.
My girlfriend ordered branzino which was also over seasoned with too much salt.
Very strange tired atmosphere, would not return.
Friday night 21:00 the whole restaurant of 20-30 seats was totally empty. It was me and the service. Really confusing. Food quality was very good. I chose filet mignon, side potatoes were over fried though. Next time will choose the Manhattan branch over this due to non-seen crowd.
Had business dinner for three. Food was very good. Nice atmosphere. Great service. A little pricey.
One of our favorites. The staff is terrific
Excellent service and food - will definitely be back.
This place is beyond amazing! Food was great, valentine's menu and a Bellini to start (Artichoke salad with avocado, Ravioli with Lobster sauce and Filet Mignon) was exquisite and delicious, chocolate dessert was very good and we got an extra plate with little mini desserts as a present, everything was served just on time. Service was very friendly and place was quite since we sat in the second floor. If you want to feel that luxury vibe sit in the first floor, second floor is beautiful but is more ''simple''... Thank you Cipriani for this beautiful experience. Looking forward to come back.
Always a class act. We were married here in 2016. Came for Valentine’s Day 2019. A nice early dinner that never misses.
Disappointed with the food, was expecting better
The food was delectable, but definitely was way overpriced for Italian and the service was average. Highly recommend going during restaurant week if you’re trying to save.
Expensive and food was okay, but the service was wonderful, the ambiance was nice and i had a good time!
Superb service. Made reservations for NY Restaurant Week but full menu was more “inviting”. Tuna tartare, carpaccio were delicious. Tagliatelle bolognese and rack of lamb also good. Tiramisu creamy, rich and delicious as well as the strawberry short cake. Fresh! Dirty martini not so good, and the olives weren’t pitted. That was a disappointment. Overall, service was the best and made the experience truly remarkable.
I went to cipriani for restaurant week and will never get the time or calories back. The food was bland and looked disgusting. My entree (skirt steak with steamed veggies) looked and tasted like a hungry man meal and my friends pappardelle with short rib looked like lean cuisine.
Would not advise going during restaurant week. The food on the regular menu looked decent and the people seemed to enjoy it. Not totally sold after my experience though.
Some of the food on the menu for Restaurant Week was disappointing. The broccoli soup needed some salt and/or pizazz and the beef ragu was mediocre. I will not comment on recommending the restaurant because maybe the food not on the Restaurant Week menu is better. The service was very good.
The noise level reflected the young Millennial crowd. There was duct tape on the back of our chairs. The food was a 3/5 (2/5 for the cost) and they ran out of ALL of their desserts before we got ours, if you can believe that. Terrible experience. I wouldn’t go back.
The food was terrible and the ambience was equally as strange and terrible. Would not bother!
We had an enjoyable time. It was my friend’s birthday and the staff brought out a large piece of cake with a candle inside which was very nice. We went here to try out their restaurant week dinner menu and it was very delicious. They only thing I would complain about is that I asked the waiter to bring the check 2 times and it took 45 minutes to bring it over. Other than that, the staff was very nice and accommodating to our needs.
$27 for the tiniest burger I have ever seen. It was barely bigger than a slider. Disappointing.
Setting is great. However, the food was a bit disappointing for the price. Maybe an off day, as I remember it being better in the past.
I am from NYC and am used to high end restaurants. Hosted a dinner for an important client, visiting from TX. Was really hoping to impress them. The food certainly did. The menu is not enormous and there was only one special, but what we ordered was truly amazing. But the service was poor. Shared apps, meals and drinks worked out to about $150/head.
I enjoyed the meal very much. The food was tasty, the service was great and the ambiance was perfect. The menu had a variety of very good options to select from.
Tried Cipriani Wall Street during Winter Restaurant Week. Here is the review breakdown:
Ambiance: Cipriani has a nice and elegant interior. It reminds you of these old steakhouses back in the day. Wood everywhere but still bright and airy.
Service: Service was superb! Waiters and runners were attentive and we didn't feel rushed even though the place got busy after 7pm.
Food: Food was ok, nothing special really. It could be that because we ordered from the Restaurant Week menu so the pre-set selections were probably their "just ok" dishes. I ordered the salmon and while it what very tasty, it was not out of this world good.
I still think $42 for 3 courses is a great deal but I don't think I will spend full price for the ok food.
I went there for a small birthday party with my close friends just because of the “name” of the place. We spent around $110 per person, and I have to say that it’s not worth it. Even more, servers gave us an attitude because we were not as old as their usual customers as I understood (we all range from 21(myself) to 28). The food was okay, but not something special. Wine was nice, but the server spilled a drop of it near every single glass. We had a good time, but I am not impressed. Therefore I am definitely not coming back. Moreover, I would not recommend you to go there if you are younger than 45, you wouldn’t enjoy it.
The bellinis are amazing but they gave me a weird hard time about ordering them during apperitivo hours. First of all, none of the waiters even knew about aperitivo (it clearly says it on the menu). Then when we got the bill, it said that our first round of bellinis were full price, when the rest of the bellinis were under the apperitivo deal. The manager told the waiter to tell us it was because we got to the restaurant before 4 (when apperitivo starts 4-6), when we LITERALLY got there at 3:55. They ended up changing it after we personally asked to speak to the manger, but I felt like such a high class restaurant shouldn't be trying to pull a fast one on their customers.
It’s sad but this does not feel like the Cipriani’s of days gone by. They were always known for their exceptional food and a great vibe. I came here with colleagues from out of town thinking it would be a great experience. I was very excited to see them on OpenTable and I was surprised there was availability since most restaurants were fully booked. When we arrived we were seated right next to the front door when the place was actually empty. There was no music or noise other than the staff. It was quite an awkward atmosphere. The staff was very nice but clearly not high-end restaurant type service. Instead of memorizing the orders, they were writing them down in detail as if we were in a diner. When our appetizers came, one was delayed significantly enough that others started. The food was fine but nothing to write home about. I had the salmon and it was cooked as I requested. I think with a little re-organization and some creativity on the menu and better music and lighting for atmosphere, this place could be a real hit. But they have some work to do….
Es un placer comer en este restaurante, los platos son abundantes y de calidad. El servicio inmejorable, el ambiente encantador. Es imprescindible ir a este restaurante si vas a Nueva York
Waiters were not familiar with the menu; they served us a martini in a SHOT GLASS; the did not have the full menu available— it’s like this place is an afterthought to their other locations.
Wonderful food, service and venue. They really know what they are doing!
We were in New York for a wedding and loved having a wonderful restaurant within walking distance from our hotel. Making the reservation was easy, our table was lovely and the food was excellent!
The staff were extremely accommodating when we called to advise we were running late. Service and food were both excellent.
Good place for private dinner
El lugar abandonado, el personal nos hizo malas recomendaciones. Sobro muchisima comida. No era rica, la pasta con pescado tenia espinas. Carisimo, 200 usd por dos personas. MUY MALO.
Good service and noise level inside was great...allowed conversation.
Large party. Food, as always, was amazing, but for such a large group the service was professional, courteous and efficient.
Not an exciting venue
