Cipriani - Dolci
Too noisy, not worth the high prices but the food was quite good.
food is really good just for pasta make sure you tell them to cook it well, as al dente was uncooked honestly, but I will go back there this week.
Great table, reallh no bad seats in this place, food was excellent, we had a la carte and a prix fix menu and all was excellent. Pricy, but well worth the experience.
The waiters were all very pleasant and helpful.
What a wonderful way to celebrate my Husband's birthday while on holiday from Australia 🍰🍷🇦🇺🇺🇸
Great ambience! Tables a bit too close together but that did not take away from the ambience and enjoyable dinner
Way overpriced! Also, food is not that well prepared. My eggplant parm was greasy and too cheesy. Where was the eggplant?
We chose the restaurant for the location which seemed ideal right in Grand Central Station for our first night in New York. The service was wonderful. The food was ok but not AMAZING. Once you factor in the price for the OK food it was a little disappointing. Not bad just not what we hoped for. Again service was outstanding. You won't leave hungry.
Sadly the avocado salad and cheese hamburger were less than mediocre
I don’t know what’s more breathtaking, the food, the service, or the atmosphere. The quintessential New York experience.
Food is delicious. Quarters are tight.
Food good-very overpriced.
made for a delightful weekend brunch-lovely food, attentive service!
Amazing quality and service considering it’s a station buffet !!
Great and convenint location for commuters. Decent food but limited choice. Friendly service.
My husband and I celebrated our first anniversary here for dinner and we had the best experience! Service was amazing, food was SO good, and the dessert was even better! The Vanilla Meringue cake is the best cake I’ve ever had!!
It was also just really fun to have dinner and people watch inside of Grand Central Terminal! We really enjoyed it!
Anniversary dinner before seeing Wicked.
Our Reservation was for 1:15pm and was running late, I called and whomever answered the phone was very accommodating and had no issues with our party being late. Turns out I was only 7 minutes late however it was not until 1:30 that I was acknowledged at the entry and seated. The greeter was warm and friendly and accepted a little chiding about the late greet. Our Server was warm and friendly. It was a good thing our reservation was after the lunch RUSH.
My dinner was wrong and they would take 20 minutes if I wanted replace!! None effort to please me!!
Incredible food and the atmosphere is unmatched. Highly recommended!
Great view of grand Central Terminal but food was mediocre and service same. Apps and a lunch entree for 2 = $140.00
It's not a place I would dine regularly, but it was a nice thing to do. The service is great, the ambience (on the balcony overlooking the Grand Central main terminal) is great, and the food is very good. In another place, it would be overpriced, but, in that location, it was worth it.
Never again! Food was horrible. Three people dining, three horrible meals
Delicious food in a beautiful setting!
Loved it...the food are exquisite 😋and a fancy place to eat and loved the view of the Grand Central 👍🏽
Food below average, service ok, overpriced, great location
Great food in a beautiful location!
Good food and service, expensive, but the location overlooking the Grand Central Concourse is something special.
Lovely restaurant grand central terminal fun, food, service excellent
This restaurant is in the great hall of Grand Central with the starry sky painted above and the hubbub of
passengers below and with train information being announced over the speakers. Despite all this the restaurant succeeds in being comfortable and reasonably tranquil. The service was excellent and the food was good. The steak tartare with excellent with toast and the tagliatelle had a delectable tomato sauce with chunks of mozzarella and grated cheese on top. The wait staff was very attentive. All the restaurants that I have frequented during this Restaurant Week have had excellent wait staff. I do not find credible the reviewers who are critical of the professional effort that most restaurants make.
The food was a disappointment. My Eggplant alla Parmigian was heavy with cheese and oil.
The duck special was top shelf (literally, the best duck I have had in years). A bit dear in price, but quite special.
Cipriani - Dolci was awesome. We attended for Restaurant Week and the price was perfect, service was perfect, ambiance was perfect, seating on the balcony was perfect and the menu was perfect. We will definitely attend again during Restaurant Week!!!
This is one more time I have the pleasure of lunch at Cipriani Dolci. As in all previous occasions, everything was tops. I do recommend.
I gave it an overall fair rating as we were not thrilled with the food and overall Restaurant service. Our server was friendly, however we went for the “Restaurant Week” menu and the lunch menu was different than online. Maybe for Sunday Brunch they replace the main course chicken, Ravioli and salmon dish for omelette...they also had run out of the veal dish for appetizer, the disappointing part was that they did not offer an alternative beside the other two dishes of salad or soup. Ice tea is $6++ and glass of wine $18++ for nothing special. The lentil salad was my favorite part.
Brunch at Cipriani Dolci was amazing. The service was impeccable and the food was honestly beyond words. My brother and sisters-in-law took my mom here as a birthday surprise and she truly enjoyed herself. And while she loved the beautiful location and food, it’s mainly because of the awesome staff!
It was cold since it’s in the station . Yet is a MOST in nyc
We went during restaurant week. The restaurant ran out of their main dishes.
The wifey confused the wine (pour different ones). For the price of the restaurant week it was not worth it at all...
