Everything was delicious!! Waitstaff was friendly & on point. We will definitely be back!!
To me it is a little spot of New York in Austin, the space reminds me of a mom and pop NY restaurant. Food is excellent you can see the pizza oven in all its glory, service and quality impeccable.
Great service. Love this little neighborhood gem.
Thank goodness for the food and manager service. We had reservations at 5pm, the restaurant was still empty at that time. So why we were greeted with, "Just to let you know your table has reservations at 6:45pm." 🤷🏼♀️ The food is delicious, but I would hire friendlier wait staff for a Italian restaurant, just my option. Although, our waiters that night were good, they just need to chat more. SMILE, more!
But the food makes up for all of it. I have recommended it, several times.
Only one waitress there; other one called in sick. She did a great job serving everyone well. High praise.
Other than beer and wine only, this was a great dinner.
Would have loved candles in the tables. The place begs for it!
The pizza was soggy & the tomatoes underripe. The Caesar was mayonaisey.
The pasta was very good!
The service was friendly.
Overall, very good experience!
Generous portions of hot food.
This was our second visit to Cipollina for lunch and it was as excellent as the first visit. Our server was very attentive and the food (Pan Seared Red Fish and Classico Pizza) was awesome. This is becoming our favorite restaurant.
The food was delicious but restaurant is too loud for conversation. Bring a book because you won’t be able to speak to your dining partner.
Delicious dinner. Just a tad bit loud!
Cipollina is a hidden gem. Very casual neighborhood restaurant and bar. We only had the mussels appetizer, house salad and pizza. All were excellent. I wish I would have found this place sooner. Will definitely go back next time I’m in Austin—I want to try the pastas!
Good neighborhood joint.
Had forgotten about the restaurant and glad we stumbled back in. Everything good but surprised when prosciutto pizza came without tomato sauce. Noise level up there. Will return and bring tomato sauce.
Versatile menu. Good selection of appetizers and salads balanced by several excellent main courses. The wine selection is one of the best in Austin. Servers are attentive and they do not rush your dinner
Excellent service and food. Classic simple italian dishes. Neighborhood gem.
The food is always delicious!
Wait staff was lovely and our mail came out on time and it’s just what I wanted.
It started with being greeted by the hostess and told that while they would seat us they would need the table in an hour. It was a 6:45 reservation. The place was less than half full and never filled to capacity while we were there. Pizza came to the table burnt to a charcoal on the edges and soggy in the middle. Server was in to rushing us out, not sure why given there was no crowd. Never was asked if we wanted another beverage after the first was served. Will never go back. Awful experience!
Great homemade pasta!
I would not call the noise "Energetic" -- too damn loud is more like it. There was a HUGE group this night; maybe 25-40 people. Staff did a great job of providing service for those not in the group. But the noise was way too much.
Food is excellent. Tiramisu can't be beat! 4 stars for ambiance and noise only because im picky about that.
Love this place!
We had a good time but I didn't find the food outstanding.
the alfredo dish was excellent! my partner had the spaghetti and meatballs. the meatballs were a little over spiced. the calamari appetizer was very good! our waiter was very professional. we will dine there again!
Food was good, very loud inside, average neighborhood eatery, not much ambience, would I go back probably not, to many other amazing restaurants to try.
Excellent service and food. Only drawback is it’s noisy!
We're happy to have such a good neighborhood restaurant, and hope it stays. The best thing on the menu is the pizza -- great crust, delicious and abundant toppings.
Great restaurant running I think under the radar. Quiet Tarrytown location wonderful menu of traditional favorites.
So much prefer laid back and good food to other options down the street. Keep it real!
The food was perfectly prepared and the staff was helpful and friendly. What a nice evening. We will be back.
Great place and atmosphere! Service was terrific. Try the tiramisu for sure!
My birthday. Fun waitress. Great wine.
The best neighborhood eatery. Just locals, no tourists
Great garlic bread. Great wine. Great pizza. Great dessert! What more do you want
Awesome food and service. Always consistent.
My daughter and I came for a quick dinner before a show at Bass. We had a lovely time and the food was delicious!
Gagging. Worst shrimp scampi ever. Only good think is that it didn’t make me sick.
Love this neighborhood bistro...a favorite 'go to'. Consistently yummy food!
