Cioppino's Mediterranean Grill
Never fails me ....Cioppino is my favourite restaurant in Vancouver.
Very good service....food was fine....wine selection was extensive but was skewed to the higher end. Could use a few more value oriented wine choices. Hate to use the word excessively priced......but well I just said it.
Food was fantastic! Caprese salad was amazing! Tomatoes were room temperature and the cheese was water buffalo cheese straight from Italy. The foie gras was out of this world! Wine selection was endless! Branzino and sable fish were cooked to perfection. Lemon tart was not too sweet, with many fresh berries accompanying it! We will be going again!!
Fantastic food, excellent service.
Vacationing in Vancouver and staying at a hotel around the corner. We kept passing this restaurant and decided to try it after reading the menu. So glad we did. I have a wheat and nut allergy and I was able to eat many items on the menu. They even had gluten free bread. We started with the octopus in an herb sauce. The octopus was so tender and the sauce was fabulous, with a tiny bit of heat. Oh my, it was perfect, served with tender butter beans. Then we shared the baby green salad. The Stilton and pears were a great combination. I had the Risotto with mushrooms. Every bite had a mushroom. My husband had the Cioppino, it also did not disappoint. I highly recommend!
We went to celebrate our daughters birthday and loved our experience. The food was outstanding! The foie gras was amazing and the short rib ravioli were highlights. Also amazing was the veal scallopini in mushroom sauce and the lamp chops.
Very friendly waiter how happen to be from Venezia and know Spanish very well
As always, the ambiance and food was fantastic. The gentleman who served us is very knowledgable and friendly. A highly recommended authentic gem in Yaletown.
Very much enjoyed our evening at Cioppino’s. It was our first visit and we will very likely return. Our server was fantastic — very friendly we’d been asked if we wanted everything staggered (yes we did) but then both appies came together, followed by the ravioli and then a very long wait till the cioppino. Too full for dessert but got it anyway. It’s quite the large dessert list and many seem to feature their house made chocolate. We opted to split their classic cannoli. Liked it but didn’t love it. Tried a new amaro and loved it tho!
Cioppino's was a magnificient experience. Food and staff were wonderful.
My server was amazing he was knowledgeable and very pleasant!!! Valet service was great as well! Overall amazing food and staff!
Most accommodating lovely informative service!
A delightful delicious evening!
Cioppino’s never disappoints. Definitely one of the best Italian restaurants in Vancouver!
Fantastic food and service
Superb service and outstanding food. Great for a special occasion when you want to splurge. When you eat there you are truly getting top notch service with zero pretentious, which what makes this a place where you can just relax and know that you will be taken care of. And the food is so satisfying.
I found the food was very good but it is definitely expensive for what it is. If you were to compare it to any experience at a true fine dining restaurant, the ingredients nor the food measured up to the price.
Our seafood dishes were perfectly cooked with wonderful and creative seasoning. Our waiter was charming, efficient and so helpful as we decided on dishes.
What a lovely dining experience. The food was wonderful and the ambience is perfect -- you almost feel like you are in Italy. Great evening.
Outstanding Italian food and service! Special tanks to the sommelier. Very professional!
Great service from the moment we walked in! Lovely atmosphere and the every dish was incredible. Would highlight recommend
great food, great service
Excellent food, excellent service ! Great traditional Italian restaurant.
Best restaurant in Vancouver♥️
Amazing service, amazing food that you won't find elsewhere in Vancouver. An excellent experience that we return to again and again. One of our absolute faves.
Incredible service and even better food! We all loved our dishes and said if we lived in Vancouver this would be a regular spot for us to enjoy! Would recommend to any Italian food lovers!
Fantastic as usual!
Best spaghetti alla vongole we’ve ever had! Must try!
We especially loved the stuffed zucchini flowers!!
Always a pleasant experience dining here. Service was quick/accommodating and the food was exceptional. Easily my favorite spot in Vancouver for Italian food and recommend it to anyone that asks.
This was the best. Thank you everyone at the restaurant.
This was a beautiful meal. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The server was friendly, attentive and helpful. We split a few dishes and they separated them at the table for us which was great. If I could afford to I'd return often.
I would have given this amazing restaurant more stars if I could have. With so many choices for dinning today, one must not only rely on outstanding, innovative and fresh food but also excellent customer service. Not only were we all overly satisfied with our meals, but also with the incredible and professional service we received. We will be back again for sure!
love this resteraunt, I'm vegan and they even specially made my meal! my boyfriend had steak wich he loved !
Perfect as usual. Great cuisine ! Amazing service and overall an outstanding culinary experience from Foie Gras to truffle sprinkled pasta.
The service levels by all the staff are extremely high at this restaurant. The food matches this high attention to detail. We had the veal scallopini with tomato and cheese. Very yummy! The manager suggested the perfect bottle of wine to go with the meal. Definitely a place to revisit.
Our waiter was attentive and the food was delish. The scallops were cooked to perfection. Entree was Oso Bouco
Extremely tender. The seat was right in front of the kitchen so I was looking into the kitchen the entire time, we had reservations, there were better seating tables which did not get occupied by the time we left, table seating could have been better. Regretfully I had to watch the main Chef fawn all over a table beside us that one of the Sedin’s was seated, it was distracting having him treat them like they were the most important people ever and didn’t ask us how our meal was 🙄 the entire time...enough butt kissing to last a month. My risotto was slightly undercooked but still good. I enjoyed the meal but I would pass going back simply because of the fawning of the famous and wealthy we saw there.
Cioppinos remains Vancouvers best restaurant. Constantly creating new and delicious delights with the freshest best ingredients.
What else is there to say? Excellent in every way!
