The Private Dining Room at Cinquecento is a warm and welcoming space that looks out onto one of the most pleasant outdoor dining spaces in the city. Versatile and inviting, the room comes complete with a dedicated staff, a full private bar and is audio-visually compatible for program events.
View Private Dining DetailsOur dinner was amazing! From the kale salad to the octopus appetizer(we had never had octopus), and then our entrees, everything was delicious and perfectly prepared. We had an excellent server and it was relatively quiet. Parking was easy in the lot nearby and was complementary from Cinquecento. We would definitely return.
The food was delicious! Excellent service and great ambiance.
Great pre-marathon dinner meal. Tasty rocket salad and bucatini amatriciana
Great dining experience. Excellent food and service. Highly recommend this place for a great venue for a special evening out.
We were in Boston with my son who was running the marathon. I called the restaurant for a reservation and asked if they could accommodate a baby (18 month old) and give my son (the runner) a special meal of pasta and grilled chicken. They not only accommodated him but the manager came over and made sure everything was good. They made him feel like like a celebrity. The food and service were wonderful. We had a great experience all around.
The restaurant was way more beautiful than pictures online. Great vibe, great service and everyone lived their meal.
good food and ambience. pretty good gluten free italian options for my wife with celiac..
Server was great.. Prices good.. Overall very pleasant and enjoyable nice nite out in the south end
Food and service were spectacular! Thank you!
Great food!!! Only drawback is the seating. Each time I have been, they will crowd a specific section. I know restaurants like to do this so it's easier for the waiter but it's annoying when the place is empty.
Also note that the table for two is VERY small. Again, even if they have plenty of open tables they will refuse to sit you at a larger table.
Everything was great, but except the first drink we ordered was only half full.
Excellent food and drinks in an elegantly decorated dining room. Our server was attentive and helpful without being oppressive, allowing us to enjoy each other's company. The presentation of our food was timed well -- quick delivery on appetizers and entrees not brought out "too soon," nor too late. We would recommend for a nice date or drinks at the bar with a group.
We went to Cinquecento for Easter and had a 2:15 reservation. We received the Brunch menu. Great options like pasta, paninis, as well as breakfast options. The breads we had were ricotta fritters, and the doughnut - both were delicious! Two pasta dishes were amazing: generous portion and some of the best we have tasted! Service was very attentive, and the atmosphere was vibrant. All in all, it was a wonderful experience!
Just what we needed. Easter morning and we had just arrived home from a month in Florida. Our experience at the restaurant was so smooth and seamless, the travel stresses just melted away. I can't remember a more peaceful Easter. This was a great place for celebrating a holiday. The place was not stuffed like a can of sardines with mobs of people clamoring to get in. Would definitely repeat.
Food was exceptional, server was fantastic and Jamie the GM was warm and welcoming. Will be going back.
Every time we come here we say “they make the best pasta.” The gnocchi is amazing. They change it seasonally but this one is my favorite!
Fun night out with friends. I got the linguine al vongole. But it turnee out it was spaghetti. Good appetizers.
This place never disappoints, whether it be dinner or at the bar or in a cozy nook. The excellent service matched the delicious food. Great menu!
Better than ever! Hadn't been to Cinquecento for quite a while as I lived closer to their sister restaurant, La Motta's, which I loved. But La Motta's closed a few months ago and I thought it was time to give Cinquecento another try. So happy I did. I feel like they've upped their game since it first opened (sadly, it's usually the reverse) and the whole experience was excellent. Greeted by one of the owners who couldn't have been friendlier or more welcoming; given rockstar seating; treated extremely well by a veteran server; was allowed to order something not normally on the dining room menu (I won't say what it is as I don't want the awesome chef to kill me); extremely pleased with the overall experience! Thank you Aquitaine Group! You've been a dependable culinary force for so long, and as a long-time local, you are much appreciated for "keeping it real" and not trying to chase the latest trend. Salute!
Delicious food. We took some people who aren’t very adventurous and they enjoyed themselves thoroughly. Also 500 has a kickass sunday brunch
We have been there many times and the food is always very good
Lovely restaurant, terrific food, good service and it was fairly quiet. And free parking next door.
The service was terrific; food delicious. Made our birthday celebration very special.
The food and service were excellent. We were there early 5:30pm on a Monday night so it was not busy. Very eclectic decor, homemade pasta - I got a veal dish that was fantastic. Highly recommend - great bar too - guessing it is busy later in the night and weekends.
We had a great evening visiting our sons. The food was nicely prepared. Service was very attentive. We were happy to be in the front of the house. Although it is technically the bar area, it seemed more quiet than the dining room.
too loud, service wasnt that great, asked for a straw never got one. Very limited menu. My main course ( Fettucinr al funghi e tartufi) was so incredibly oily ( oil was dripping from it) that my stomach hurt all night and the next day. Prices far too high for what you get. wont go back.
Our waitress was wonderful. Dinner was delicious. And we did not feel rushed
The food was unimpressive - quickly boiled pasta, still hard on the ends, runny meat sauce. The server was distracted and didn’t pay attention to our food restrictions, even after being reminded but was very apologetic.
Appetizers were okay, though octopus was small portion. Some of the pasta dishes were not very generous. Others were fine. Service was good.
Consistently very good. Lots of choice. Service was a bit uneven Not clear why. Nevertheless, still a totally pleasant experience.
We had a 8pm reservevation on a Sunday so missed the crowed noisy place many speak of. I mentioned it was my wife’s birthday so they seated us at a nice corner table. Waiter was terrific. Pasta cooked as perfectly as I’ve had. The octopus a d fried artichoke apps were excellent. Overall a wonderful experience.
Excellent meal, very cool ambiance. Easy parking...hard to beat and we'll be back.
Fun setting with friendly service and excellent food quality.
Food was delicious! It was kind of hard getting our waiter to bring the correct stuff over that we had asked for but overall a great time.
We arrived earlier than expected and the hostess was super sweet and was able to accommodate us. The drinks were delicious and the service was fabulous. I can’t wait to go back
I went here
Valentines
Valentine’s Day
It was Valentine’s Day so the restaurant was busy as I suspected but we felt rushed through a very disappointing meal. We’ve had good experience here before but will never return on a holiday again.
Excellent service by Santiago. Scallops were great. Flavors were right on point. Passed the bread test.
Very nice brunch, as usual. Eggs cooked perfectly, fabulous flavorful and spicy Bloody Mary's, nice portions that don't leave you stuffed. Our waiter was a little annoying, but that is unusual.
