The Osteria at Cinghiale has the feel of an elegant tavern with white table-cloths and mahogany and leather banquettes. It features a large farm table for a special family-style dining experience.
The Enoteca at Cinghiale celebrates the modern Italian table. It is designed to be a playful section of the restaurant, as well as a gathering place. The space has a lively urban bustle that features rich woods, wrought iron chandeliers and a handcrafted marble tile floor. Adjacent to the main bar is a Salumeria that features traditional meats, cheeses and antipasti.
The menu is complimented by an over 500 label wine list that features Northern and Central Italian wines. World of Fine Wine magazine recognized Cinghiale for having one of the best wine lists in the world for 2016. Outdoor seating is available, weather permitting.

It has not changed much since the first visit, and that's a good thing.
The service is great as usual and the food is very good, despite the changed menu.
The inexpensive Tuscan red wine was better than expected.
First time on a Sunday evening, and it was a great.
Delicious modern Italian fare! Service is excellent, and the food never disappoints.
I'm not sure if they were just having an off night or if the quality has started to slip. Cinghiale used to be one of my favorite restaurants, but I unfortunately left unimpressed. Everything was still delicious, it just wasn't quite like it used to be. Also we were there celebrating and our server very kindly brought out two complimentary desserts. However, they never asked us what we would have liked. I know this is sort of an odd complaint, and I don't mean to sound ungrateful, but the desserts they brought out were both coffee-centric, which is something my friend and I would have never ordered. So as a result we reluctantly picked at them out of guilt. Again I truly appreciate the gesture, just not so much the execution.
The food was so delicious and the service was excellent!
You know, I have always enjoyed Chingale, however this time was not the best. The decibel level was extreme and I had such a terrible plate of pasta I had to send it back. Many items on the menu seemed to be rather drab and uninspired.
All previous times have been stellar, so I'm not sure what happened, but it was disappointing.
Cinghiale is a good place to go for a special dinner or a night out with friends. The wine list is excellent and the food options are all very good. The decor is attractive and the ambiance comfortable, with just enough "buzz."
Still remembering the delicious dinner we had days ago. Food preparation was a whole different level of perfection; creative and elegant, but not weird. Waitstaff is very attentive. The menu has variety to please every palate and appetite size. Free valet parking made it easy to arrive without hassle. looking forward to returning.
We arrived slightly early. Had wanted a quiet booth to talk, but not available. Food was OK. Waiter was quite directive in his suggested choices. Service was prompt.
I was not impressed by their food and service especially the unfriendly host. They also marked me no show on Opentable for whatever reason. Besides their funny service, food was way overpriced and underwhelming. It was $35 for 3 tiny pieces of pork that were extremely tough and tasted/smelled just like pig. I think it takes multiple wrongs to make a really bad dining experience and somehow they did nothing right.
Thank you for the wonderful experience I especially appreciate the help from a young lady who were advising us on the menu
Could use a little more lighting in the formal dining area. Brussel sprout appetizer had hard seeds in it. Gnocchi was delicious. Wait staff was great.
Always great. We got a fixed price 4 course with wine pairings. It's about $240 for a couple, but the food and wines are genius.
Food awesome. Ambiance awesome. Table service and staff however could have been more attentive and personable. They seemed rushed and hurried.
Food, drinks, and service were amazing! Victor is so knowledgeable and amazing!
Was lovely. We go often & they know us
Loved our evening there but noise level was pretty high. Might try more formal dining room next time
We were at Cinghiale for a girl’s night/weekend special dinner. Wonderful meal. Delicious food and professional but fun service.
Just average food. Nice wait staff though.
My husband and I LOVE the shrimp and spaghetti dish and the porcini mushroom tagliatelle. We enjoyed the cheese platter. We found a great chardonnay that was just what we like and will come back for it on Tuesday's half price bottle of wine night. We always feel so welcome and as locals we appreciate the staff going out of their way to come over and say hello.
Fancy Italian food and drinks, great location on the water in Harbor East, top-notch service.
We had an amazing Valentine’s Day dinner! The food was outstanding. We decided to go with the wine pairings for our meal, which all of them were spot on delicious when paired with the course! The service was professional with the appropriate amount of engagement! We loved it and look forward to returning as a “GO TO” restaurant of choice in Baltimore!
Food amazing. Service amazing. Restaurant is beautiful. Prices are reasonable - especially for alcohol. What more can I say.
My wife and I went for our first meal here. We were made to feel welcome. Friendly and attentive staff all around. Her experience and mine were quite different as far as the food goes. We both did the fixed four course dinner option. We both had different food for each course. Her meals were fantastic! Each and every one was fresh, full of flavor and savory. Mine were all disappointing. Calamari was chewy, pasta was too al dente and the veal was tough and chewy. All had great flavors but the full dish didn't deliver. The service was great, our experience with the sommelier was wonderful and the wine was unique and just great!
We loved everything about our dinner at Cinghiale! The restaurant is beautiful and cozy, the food was amazingly delicious, and the service was fantastic. We did the 4 course selection with the wine pairings & we’d highly recommend anyone visiting for the first time to do the same. We tried a lot of things we might not have tried had we ordered just a main dish and glass of wine.
One note, if you’re visiting for dinner and have a bit of a hard time seeing in low light, please bring reading glasses or maybe a descrete lighted magnifier. The number of people using their cell lights to read the menu was more than it should’ve been; people should have more tact in a nice restaurant.
The food is amazing. Wait staff was extremely nice and management was attentive to all diners. This is a guaranteed great meal every time we visit.
While slightly delayed for our reservationby the Valentines Day dinner crush, we were rewarded by the charcuterie chef (Hip) with personal and warm customer service. He made the dining experience special.
It was my birthday’s husband and overall we didn’t have a good experience. I was expecting much more and the main dish took long 30 minutes.
Staff screwed up wife’s order. Entire night not worth $300 for two people.
It was good except our reservation was at 7:30 and we were seated almost an hour later. We didn’t get out first course until 9 pm 1.5 hours after our reservation
Good first Valentines date
This was by far my best dining experience I have ever had in my life. The service was so incredibly good I now have a higher standard for good service. The food was perfectly cooked and there was not too much and not too little. The ambiance was perfect for my date. This restaurant is a MUST for a date night.
Again, another great meal! Kitchen was VERY backed up, so the main course was pretty delayed. However, the superb service made up for the wait. Excellent suggestions for wine in the Enoteca. Overall, great
We had a party of 10 for a work meeting on a cold weeknight. Everything was outstanding from the moment we stepped inside the restaurant. Our server, Valencia, was in tune to what we needed and was very knowledgeable of the food menu items and wines. I could not have asked for a better experience and can’t wait to go back.
Service was impeccable, wine sommelier very helpful and the food amazing!
An Argentinian friend was visiting from DC and I wanted to take her out for a memorable meal. We all know DC is home to so many wonderful dining experiences. Cinghiale did not disappoint. We started with a drink at the bar and she enjoyed the Cinghiale cocktail. We enjoyed a delicious meal, our server was attentive without being annoying and my friend said enthusiastically, “I want to come back here!”
Our server was not engaged, we had to pour our own wine and sparkly water. He made no recommendations, the food was lacking in flavor.
great apps and outstanding service!!! loved having valet service.
We loved the 4 course menu with wine pairings. Our server was exceptional and had great recommendations for us.
