From the parking valet to the hostess to the wait staff, service was impeccable. Menu had a wide variety of interesting food items and preparations. I appreciated having the option of ordering smaller portions of the pasta dishes. Everyone in our party was very pleased with our dinner selections. The portions were adequate and the food was outstanding.
Cinghiale is excellent and above all authentic. The tasting menu with or without the wine pairing is great value and outstanding food. We have been several times and have never been disappointed with the food, the service or the ambiance
We have been to Cinghiale on many occasions but it was our 25th anniversary and we chose there to go. The food quality, style and service is over the top and the wine list is also worth the trip. We will be back.
Jimmy was our server twice and she knows her stuff!!!! From the complexities of the wine and supreme knowledge of the menu, she had it all at her fingertips. If I didn’t live in San Diego I would be there weekly. Bravo!
Very good food and nice presentation. TOP service. Warmly recommended. We were a party of 12 and service was very fast and accurate,
Cinghiale does it all- great menu, prepared expertly; outstanding, attentive service; excellent wine list with many interesting selections presented by a very knowledgeable wine steward. Innovative and exceptional Italian Food makes this our new 'go to' place in Baltimore. Well done!
Great service door to door. Very pleasant greetings, excellent reccomendations. The pastas really stood out. The tasting meal portions were slightly large for me.
Prior to going to the theater, we had an early seating and got a table in between the two primary seating areas that was outstanding. Nearly a private seating and able to watch the sous chef prepare plates at a central station. Great wine list. We had the La Cucina Della Nonna and really enjoyed the selections. a good value and outstanding food.
What a wonderful date night. Thank you! Every recommendation from our server was spot on (although I wonder if you could try any bad courses here...) everything was absolutely delicious!! Squid ink pasta w crab and the bronzino entrees were our favs.
Jimi was so attentive and sweet
Phenomenal service. Good food. My go to.
I love the soft lighting...intimate yet worldly. Service second to none. Food exquisite. Great experience!
Cinghiale has been our go to for special occasion dining. Our last two visits were disappointing. The Burrata was tasteless, I had to ask for salt to give it flavor. The bread was excellent. The Squid Ink Pasta tasted fishy and had no flavor. The scallops were served room temperatures. The Affogato which is typically amazing seemed to be missing some of its ingredients and was a let down. This place needs attention from the head team.
An absolutely exceptional dining experience! Kudos Chighiale for a really great job.
A sure stop whenever we are in Baltimore. The food and service never disappoints.
Absolutely delicious dinner. Haven’t had that delightful of a meal in a long time. Delicious. Misto fritto. Wow
Another delicious evening at Chinghiale. We enjoyed the pairings menu which never fails to romance the pallet. A little indulgence in foie gras followed by delicious pastas and sauces was wonderful. Dinner and great wines never fail.
We very much enjoyed our dinners in the Enoteca. 2 of the 4 of us had the $29 Mamma prix fixe dinner. Both first courses (salad and the fritto misto) were large and tasty. I had the scallops for a main course which were delicious tho a bit too salty for my taste. Everything came out together and was hot.
One suggestion for the restaurant (and I have felt this before) is to have cushions on the benches because they are very hard.
My sister and I recently graduated from Loyola and have moved away from Baltimore. While we were here, this was one of MY FAVORITE spots to eat. She is active duty military and is getting ready to deploy. She came here and had top service (always). They had nothing short of the best. 10/10 recommend.
Food was good, Service was excellent. Able to modify dishes
I took my girlfriend here for her birthday. I noted in my reservation that it was her birthday and we were treated wonderfully. Greeted warmly and graciously by our hostess, we were sat in the formal dining room and seated immediately. Our waiter introduced himself and went over the menu, explaining the protocol for the price fixed menu. Rather than reviewing each dish, I will say that every server was outgoing, warm, and the meal was perfectly paced and delicious. Highly recommended for special events or a very nice night out.
Everything was a delight at this restaurant. The waitstaff - impeccable; and the food - amazing. Four of us each had 3 courses and enjoyed every last bite. Can’t wait to go back
What a disappointment! The food was so below par. The "homemade pasta" is not only a boxed product but cheap one at that--and served as a blob that made it inedible. The shrimp were small and farm raised. The arugula salad was almost without dressing and no cheese. The desserts were terrible and even the "gelato" was cheap conventional ice cream. What hype for such terrible food. The only saving graces are the ambiance and extensive, although pricey, wine list. I would strongly recommend eating at any other Italian restaurant. A real shame as the restaurant was hyped and well reviewed, I hope others learn from my mistake.
Our waiter was wonderful at recommending a wine for us to meet our tastes and budget. He was also helpful with describing some menu choices for us as there were so many great choices.
Overall great meal and service!!
Amazing service and food! We were celebrating a birthday and they made the evening extra special.
Our waiter was extremely professional. But he was not cordial. He gave me the impression that he did not approve of me as a customer. Perhaps he was having a bad day. I tried to talk to him in a friendly fashion to see if I could lighten his mood, but he avoided engaging and avoided eye contact when he passed. It was disturbing.
My wife enjoyed her meal immensely. I did not think mine was worthy of a restaurant of this caliber. Overall, it was a huge disappointment for me. I will not return.
The service and atmosphere were great - but surprisingly not the food. The presentation was excellent, but the flavors were salty and underwhelming for each in our party of three.
We were in town for a long weekend. This restaurant was recommended to us. Our server, Vincent, was amazingly knowledgeable and attentive. We did a fixed course menu with pairings, which were all phenomenal. When we are back in town, this will absolutely be on our list of places to return to.
Went here for our anniversary. As usual, it was incredible: from the food, to the ambiance, and the impeccable service. It’s an amazing restaurant worth visiting.
Delicious food, outstanding service, astute wine pairings.
Our first time was disappointing. The hostess was fine. The waiter was slow and inattentive. All four of our party would not order the same meal again (including the desert). Our entres were pork, fish, shrimp and veal. The tomatoes were wonderful.
Absolutely wonderful meal. Even dining off of the restaurant week menu was exceptional. We will be back.
Wonderful dinner, great service and company.
Alessandro was great.
Went for Baltimore restaurant week as a friend's get together and the food was amazing, so much flavor! My friends had the mixed greens salad and I had the burrata with grilled zucchini which we could have easily just kept eating that. One of us ordered the grilled bronzino, and in his words the fish and the skin "were divine." I had the mushroom ragu with pasta (best I've ever had), and my other friend also greatly enjoyed the chicken wrapped in Prosciutto. We got lucky it was 1/2 price for a bottle of wine and got one to split with the table. Servers and staff were professional, efficient and welcoming. We would go back and willingly pay the full menu prices, it is worth the value.
Our go-to for special occasions, Cinghiale never fails to please. Careful, sincere attention is always paid to the food, the wine pairings and the service.
Cinghiale is one of our favorites, but there are times when it really misses. This was one of those times. My husband's duck was cold and my Branzino was also barely warm. I ate it anyway. Everything else was good. We will return and hope for a better experience next time.
Amazing birthday dinner. Food is authentic and very well done. Service was exceptional. Incredible wine list.
It was the perfect spot for a date night. Service was fantastic, the food was delicious and we had a wonderful night.
Superb! A great venue if you want if you want great good!
