CiNe Ratings and Reviews
Ate at this restaurant a few years ago and it was great. Quality of the food has gone down hill. I would no longer call it gourmet. Very disappointed. Staff stood and watched us waiting for us to leave...restaurant wasn't even closed yet. Would recommend bar only.
Food was delicious, terrible service. Went for lunch, ordered an app, 2 entrees and 2 drinks. We arrived at 1:15 and were seated immediately. There were maybe 6-8 tables full when we arrived. After a mix up with the appetizers (the first 2 we ordered were not available), we finally got an appetizer and our drinks (maybe 15-20 mins).... and waited. Our entrees did not arrive until 230, at which point there were maybe 2 other tables full. Slow to get a 2nd round of drinks, our bill had an error on it, no one asked if we wanted dessert. The drinks were fantastic, the food was delicious... we'd go again but not with kids and only if we didn't have any time constraints.
We should have learned our lesson from a previous visit. The service, along with their other restaurants, is awful. Maybe I'm biased to great Mexican food after being raised in Arizona, but this place has pseudo-Mexican food. The fajitas were awful and that's tough to get wrong. I will never go back.
Our meal was excellent! Chef Soul made 3 amazing mole sauces to complement our meal. I had the salmon and my husband had the skirt steak. We enjoyed the appetizer and entrees immensely! Manager George was very helpful in accomplishing our requests. Great restaurant in a beautiful town!
No salt on table and chips were bland and needed salt. We ordered the Queso Fundido and for price you received a tiny little saucer. Certainly not enough to share with a full table. I had the Tamale plate. The Masa was good but not enough filling. Plate came with 3 smallish tamales and meager scoop of beans and rice. I am not sure that this would have been enough to satisfy a normal eater. Would not recommend
Beautiful restaurant. Great margaritas. Food delicious. A little pricey, but worth it. Service a little slow (entrees), but it was crowded, and possibly the kitchen was backed up. Our server, Gerald (Jerry), was really helpful and accommodating. We will definitely return to CiNe.
Enjoyed great food and friendly service at dinner tonight - will definitely be back. Great menu - friendly, lively atmosphere. Fun bar as well. This is a great spot in the heart of the Village of Hinsdale - consistently good service, delicious food and great value. Special thanks to George - great server and manger.
Burrito was kind of cold. Manager came over for another issue we had for the food and tried to explain why it was like that but it was unnecessary and should not have been told. Waiter was overbearing, nosey, and seemed a little passive aggressive. Drinks were good but not for that price point. Definitely that great Mexican food.
Sorry to say, we were disappointed.
We(4 guests) waited 10 plus minutes for our server to greet us. She was cute - bubbly - but overwhelmed.
Service was very slow. The excuse was "new bartender". 20 min. wait for our bar order and the bar was a cluttered mess.
We had to go find our flatware after they removed our first set from apps.
Food was good but not great.
Very cute ambiance.
Very noisy. We did not stay for after dinner cocktails or dessert due to having to shoot at each other for conversation.
Hope this helps them do much better.
