Amazing flavors and unusual cocktails - enjoyed every bite!!
Sad that the Addison location closed! I LOVED this place...
Truly authentic Mexican food. Delicious. Great service. I've returned to this place several times and can't get tired of it!
Tacos at Addison location were very good. Great dinner atmosphere with darkened ambiance.
Good food and service. Tacos are my favorite here.
It was our first time there. Great service and incredible food! We will be back!
Great food and service
We loved the chips and trio of salsas. We tried the blue crab tostadas and loved em! I would recommend as an appetizer. Ordered the steak tacos with rice and beans and the steak was ok. The beans and rice were tasty and our margaritas were very good. Will definitely be back for the blue crab tostadas.
Food is pretty authentic and tasty, and while not "the best" ambiance, or "the best"food, or "the best" margarita or chips & salsa, nor t"the best" service, all in, rates far better than most Mexican restaurants.
Quod erat demonstrandum: what is the best really :)
Well worth it if you are in the area or even if you have to make a reasonable drive, I recommend Cinco Tacos Cocina (and the tequila)
Nice Margaritas... Enjoyed Pork Osso Bucco..
Good food. Best waiter we’ve had at this restaurant (young male). Don’t know his name.
Good food options ...but needs more distinct seasoning. Salsas for chips were bland.
Had been a while since dining there, it was great!
Won’t stay away as long before returning!
Our first time to try - and the food was excellent. Loved the homemade chips and salsas too!
Admittedly, I DISLIKE Tex Mex. After living in Mexico for 3 years (and visiting often) I struggle to find restaurants that offer AUTHENTIC Mexican cuisine. This restaurant is the closest I've come in months and its DELICIOUS. If you love ceviche, this is a must try. Staff was friendly, food was fast (and delicious), facilities were extremely clean and prices were fair. Will be visiting again soon and bringing the family.
Outstanding margaritas ! The best I have had in Dallas .
Our meal was good, but not at the level of our last visit. The Mexican seafood soup was marginal. Wouldn’t get it again.
Great place.
Great service- food was good.
I had a friend in from the east coast, where Mexican food is rare. While I had been to Cinco Tacos numerous times in the past, it has always been for dinner. Since this was the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend, I wasn't sure what to expect. Luckily, it was all good! We were seated promptly with drinks in hand shortly thereafter. (Unlimited Mimosas were included, as well as one Bloody Mary - and coffee, too.) There were lots of food choices at the brunch buffet, including a made-to-order omelets bar, which unfortunately we did not notice until the end of our meal. My friend, who LOVES Mexican food, was impressed with all the options, as well as how tasty everything was. And I was patting myself on the back for having made such a wise choice.
It was nice to be able to use Open Table to make a reservation for Mother's Day lunch. We had never been to this place and thought we would try it based upon the reviews.
Taking in to consideration that it was quite a busy day for families to eat out we anticipated such a challenge. We were greeted and immediately seated at a very long booth. With two elderly individuals it was a bit difficult to maneuver and wish we could have requested a table instead. The elongated booth seat was in relatively good shape, however the table was made up of two different tables of varying heights that wobbled. Being patient and understanding the busy day we tried to overlook this, but anytime anyone moved - so did the tables. Our waiter was kind enough and asked if we would like him to steady the table - but only one of them ironically. Still it was nice for him to ask. It was unfortunate and uncomfortable for the individual sitting in the middle as their place was amidst the two tables of differing heights. So that the middle person could have their plate level we had to all squish to the inside next to the wall. Not the most ideal situation but we made it work.
The separate room we were seated in had several lights that were out. There were random large hooks that seemed to be part of a missing art installation. A little odd.
The bathrooms were nice, modern and clean.
Music was ridiculously loud & obnoxious!!
The chips and salsa were different and interesting. 3 different sample salsas are provided.
Overall the food was okay... we had the following:
2 orders of Shrimp Alambre - cheese was burnt (maybe it was supposed to be that way?) bacon was eh but the shrimp was very nice.
1 order of Chicken Caesar Salad it thought was okay, nothing spectacular.
1 order of Carne Asada tacos
1 order of Cinco Tacos Grilled Salad w/vinaigrette and w/out the cheese & peanuts. He said it was alright.
1 order of the enchiladas.
3 waters
1 tea
2 cokes $96 w/out tip.
We loved everything about eating at Cinco Taco. It was the first time for all of us and we’ll definitely be back!
First off was seated at a table in a dark corner. We asked to have the lights above us turned on which 10 minutes later finally was accommodated (after politely reminding the waiter). After that it was better lighting. In hindsight, perhaps cinco de mayo was not the best night to try this place for the first time. Chips/salsa was brought and was fine (appears they ran out of ceramic salsa dishes so our trio was in mini plastic cups, we could see other tables with ceramic dipping dishes). We got two different margaritas and these were good (one was the strawberry jalapeño). We ordered the ribeye tacos and the pastor pork tacos. We were very disappointed with the presentation when they arrived (all too quickly). The ribeye looked like a microwaved piece of lunch meat and the pastor pork was overcooked and too sauced up. Both were very salty and the tortillas were too greasy (were flour). And the taste was not worth finishing either meal. We promptly discussed with the manager and returned the food, paid for the drinks. The manager was very nice and apologetic. Might try again on a less busy night but this was not a good first impression.
Very slow service. We requested the server as well as the receptionist couple of times to write our name to give us seat on patio whenever possible. Everyone ignored our request. One server dropped on our drinks and even then charged us for it.
Wife and I are in town for vacation. We had the craving for good Mexican food, and we were NOT disappointed! Amazing food, amazing people, amazing place! I highly recommend Cinco Tacos to anyone looking for a great time.
Overall great experience. The food was great and it was very prompt. We had a party of 6 and we still were able to be in and out quickly. The restaurant was very nice and clean. We look forward to returning.
Poor service, the waiter stood right next to our table texting. Food was fine, not particularly notable. Unlikely to come back based on our experience.
I love this place! The service is always great and the food is delicious! I highly recommend it any time and it's great for medium-sized crowd gatherings. Very conveniently located too.
Go here all the time.. Chips and salsa are great, Ceviche are great.. Just great overall...
I’m so glad I found this place. I highly recommend it for all occasions. Best of the bedt
Modern and authentic cuisine with a great tequila bar! What else could I ask for???
I made a reservation through Open Table to go to dinner with friends. We show up and they were crowded, hence making the reservation, and they said they didn’t have it. Made no effort to remedy it even when I showed them my confirmation. They told the only thing they could do was to wait in line for an hour and a half. I’ve always loved this place, but not sure I’ll be returning!
Yelp check-in upon review for your complimentary appetizer. My date and I had ample time to take in the decor, the menu and enjoy the savory flavors of our meal. Truly a delectable, gourmet, experience.
Our server was very nice and attentive!
I love friendly staff, the make you feel at home and try to get to know you, every time we go there they really pay attention to my kids 9 & 10 yrs, the bean soup is a must every visit, and their asadero queso, good selection of mezcales, and service has a great timing.
Great service and always glad we chose to come here for dinner. Never disappointed.
Really enjoyed the Sunday brunch. Food was good and it was a good value.
Had the chicken moctezuma with salmon instead - outstanding!! The achiote sauce is out of this world !!
Amazing service
We had a giant group and everything went really smoothly!
