Cin City - Miami Valley Gaming Ratings and Reviews
I was comped $75 at Cin City so my wife and I made reservations and tried it. The meal was ‘free’ so I will keep the complaining to a minimum. The restaurant was not busy but it took 15 minutes to get a soda and a water. We both ordered the Flat Iron steaks cooked medium. My steak came out very well done and cold with hard butter. The steak smelled like what I can only describe as a diaper. It’s flavor was just like the smell. The worst piece of meat I’ve ever eaten actually. We are going to give Cin City one more try on smoked prime rib night and if that experience is even close to the last one we won’t ever be dining there again.
We made reservations for 8:15. Arrived about 8:10 and were seated quickly. After that, we waited over 5 minutes for our waiter to appear, and that , only after we asked the hostess to help out. After he finally arrived, we were treated well and food arrived hot and quickly. The waiter was able to make a special request for us to receive a dessert, after a pastry chef had apparently closed for the evening, even though there were other guests still in the restaurant.
Cincity is a nice restaurant inside the casino. The pork chop is outstanding and I would highly recommend, the rest of the menu is just slightly above average from what I could tell. My waitress Theresa was very nice and attentive. She made sure we were well taken care of.
Don't get me wrong, the the Restaurant is" GREAT". I'm not sure what happened that day because the service and food that day (October 19, 2017) was terrible. The service was extremely slow and the food was overcooked. They need to work on there Time Management skills. I don't think it matters at this point with MVG because I file a complaint with their operator and she told me she would give to the Restaurant manager to call me back. As of today, I have not heard back from anyone.
The food tasted old or rewarmed! I ordered walleye and it was so tough a fork didn't cut it and it came with 5 potato scalp chips cold! My date ordered the steak and baked potato. The steak was ok and the baked potato tasted like it was a day old! This place reminded me of a Bar And Grille, not a top notch restaurant! Out of 1 to 10 I would rate it at a 2 or 3! My name is Jason Finley not Justin! Thanks!!!!
Sharee (not for sure of spelling) the bartender is absolutely great will not sit anywhere else but at her tables. She is friendly, great service and polite and just a joy to come in and talk to. Before her service was just ok to slow at times. You found a gem in her !
We had a great meal but our waitress was extremely slow. She would stop and talk to other tables and we set there for a good 30 min just waiting on our bill and take home desert. We even express what took so long? It wasn't that busy either as we were there the week before and they was really busy so there was no excuse for the slowness .
Great New York strip steak and baked potato. Very nice staff. House salad was too basic. It was just cut ice burg with onion and tomato on side. Ranch was nothing great. Bread was good. Milkshake was horrible It was thinner than chocolate milk. Chocolate cake had weird flavor threw it away.
