Cin City - Miami Valley Gaming Ratings and Reviews
2nd time at Cin City. The food is excellent! But, our service was not! Our waitress , Sheri, was very friendly but did not get our order in and by the time she realized about 45 minutes had passed. Our drinks, water and soda went dry a couple times before she noticed we needed refills. Then she had offered free dessert for our trouble but then the dessert was not taken off the bill and it took forever to come out. I personally think the issue was that she was also bartending and could not handle the bar and tables at the same time. There were at least five other tables seated after us that dined and left before we did!
The food was okay but really nothing special. The price was extravagant and we were overcharged for blue cheese crumbles that were never served. Service was lacking i.e., soup and salad took at least 20 minutes to be served and the hot food was brought out while still consuming the soup and salad.
I will not revisit the restaurant even with comps.
We went here for a long overdue date night since it isn’t somewhere you can bring kids (inside the casino). Our server Sharon was amazing, very attentive but not intrusive, everything came out perfect. Started with salads which were simple but fresh and very good. We both had steaks, I had the filet and my husband a ribeye. Both were cooked perfectly medium and had a nice char, great flavor and spice. The vegetables and potatoes were delicious too. No room for dessert unfortunately (we were saving room for a drink out in the casino to relax and people watch). We sat in a booth which felt very private and quiet, even close to the kitchen doors. Occasionally you could hear some noise from the casino but not much and it wasn’t enough to disturb our conversation. It’s a good place for a date or special occasion since it’s a little pricey (well over $100 for 2 with tip) but we loved it, the food was delicious, and will definitely be back!
When I made reservation hoping to get an earlier time but 6:30 was first opening for Saturday. Upon arrival there were only people seated at 4 other tables so surprised other times were not available. Then with all the open tables available we were seated right next to the server station at the bar.
Steaks were good, but both our baked potatoes were only warm. One would expect a potato to steam when cut open.
Wait staff was very good
Ate here two weeks ago with my wife and the food/experience was awesome. So, when I took my brother here this past Friday and the food was very disappointing was a shock. The first thing that was disappointing was the change of the menu, we had our mind made up of what we wanted and none of those items were available. Then the food we ordered was cold and hard (baked potato), meat was so tough it was hard to even cut with a knife (porterhouse pork chop) and the loaded tater tots only had cheese on them, we was thinking they would have a couple more item like meat, sour cream on them. I have mixed feelings and hope that they were just having a bad day Friday.
It was an extremely busy night at Cin City---It was their 4th Anniversary and giving away 4 cars---so we kind of understood why it took "exactly" 2 hours from being seated to leaving the restaurant-----Food was very tasty and good---the prices are getting a little out of control ----They have a new menu now. Be sure and check it out!
This experience was much better than the previous two. Went for the smoked prime rib. It was delicious. Our ‘server’ Teresa was too busy with her 3 other tables to even greet us so a passerby staff member ended up being our impromptu server. He was prompt and courteous and saved the day. We will be back for the smoked prime rib.
I was comped $75 at Cin City so my wife and I made reservations and tried it. The meal was ‘free’ so I will keep the complaining to a minimum. The restaurant was not busy but it took 15 minutes to get a soda and a water. We both ordered the Flat Iron steaks cooked medium. My steak came out very well done and cold with hard butter. The steak smelled like what I can only describe as a diaper. It’s flavor was just like the smell. The worst piece of meat I’ve ever eaten actually. We are going to give Cin City one more try on smoked prime rib night and if that experience is even close to the last one we won’t ever be dining there again.
