Had a great time would not recommend the mushroom ravioli , just didn't think it was all mushrooms inside .kinda figured would be a mushroom and meat or cheese but was far to....shroomy . The expressotinni was amazing and so was my lobster pasta dish
Happy that Wayne is back. Food was excellent, service great.....no complaints.
Very small table. It was our anniversary so it would have been nicer to not be so close to the people beside us. Service good, food was delicious!
Service and food were Exceptional!!
Fantastic friendly service. They reserved the exact table we had a few days before and even remembered our name. The food here is amazing and much better priced than some other places in town
We’ve been there several times over the last 6 years and as usual the meal was outstanding, service was unobtrusive, good ambience, in short, a good overall experience that we will repeat sooner than we have in the past.
Delicious food and really great service. We were helped by several different staff members and they were all very polite and friendly. The food was outstanding and we can’t wait to return!
Cimo’s never disappoints. Chef Wayne is back and so is the original angel hair pasta. Excellent service from our girl Emily. Thanx so much.
Salad was lacking in presentation, overall was a tasty dinner.
Another wonderful meal at Cimo’s!
I ordered from the daily special and was not disappointed at all! The salad and ravioli were amazing. The only down side to this is they aren’t on the regular menu!
Maybe they should be!
Great as always
We were treating some friends for their help. Amazing dinner, our babies loved it too.
The food was really good but they kept telling us they ran out of certain items. For instance, the special ravioli was not available and we dined at 5:15pm. Also ran out of strawberries so substituted peaches in a regular dessert item.
Sorry to say the restaurant went down in quality and enjoyment since the last time we went. Not enough staff, food was ok but not to the quality we experienced in the past.
Had a wonderful Dining experience with my family. Beautiful food, fantastic service, and they even accommodated us when we showed up half an hour before our reservation time
Was awesome. Food was delicious and wine list was nice and long. Kid friendly, my kid loved it too. Will be back and will be bringing friends.
Totally enjoyed the restaurant and the employees
However the child’s chicken fingers were over done
Thanks for the great experience
Overall our visit was very positive. We had exceptionally good service. Our meals were good overall but I had the apple brie and chicken sandwich and found the apple was mushy and an odd flavor combination. I have tried this style of sandwich with fig and pear before and prefer that much more than apple. Although, i had the spinach salad as a side and it was absolutely delicious! It was relatively quiet which was nice but the price of the meals for the quality and quantity was a bit much for me.
The service wasn't the best. The carbonara was extremely salty and the citrus risotto tasted to strongly like lemon. The cheesecake wasn't what we expected, but the server took that off the bill for us.
Love the restaurant! Food was amazing. Unfortunate the server couldn’t recommend anything because he said he was new. Not his fault
Our group of eight had a very nice meal and enjoyed the food, the service and the ambiance.
Food and service has improved since we were last there approximately 4 months ago. It was discounted pasta Wednesday which we were unaware that they had. Table by bar is very quiet
As mentioned on your comment card, we were impressed with the food and service. We have not been to Cimo's in a very long time as we had a poor experience awhile ago. Excellent this time!
Food and service was amazing. Perfect sized portions
This restaurant could be placed in any major city and still be outstanding in comparison. Which explains why reservations are a good idea. The staff and Chef were very accommodating accepting requests and each of our meals were prepared to perfection. Fun with our servers made the evening even better.
The staff are very pleasant, and quick to adjust to the customer's needs. During the meal a rainshower drenched the patio guests and the servers all quickly helped get them to inside tables. The service was casual and friendly.
Great food. Attentive service. Appreciated local cuisine. The desserts are incredible too.
Very good but not excellent due to poorly informed server and then a bomb by the kitchen when they seriously overcooked a filet of salmon. Two strikes. :-( However, my husband's pasta rocked, and my scallop appies were seriously delicious and perfectly done. The server made an effort to make it right, assumed personal blame (takes integrity!) and comp'd my salmon, so we left happy.
Had an enjoyable lunch on the patio, friendly waitress, food came promptly, great fries as well as nice fresh shrimp and generous portions of Brie in my sandwich.
the calamari was pretty good but my wifes veal was over cooked and the sauce was very, very sweet, my seafood linguine was just ok, service could have been better, took a long time to get our coffee and water refilled, we had to wait over 10 minutes to get our bill with only 5 tables full of customers
Cimo’s is usually a go-to however this time the service was terrible. We were there for 20 minutes before we were promptly brought a glass of water with the waitress saying (without us even asking) “sorry we are really busy and we are short staffed so that’s why...” before nervous laughing and running away without taking our drink order, or any order for that matter. Cue another 15 minutes later the owner came out and lost track of who was seated first so she just went to the first table she saw with no food or drink to take their orders, even though we had been seated already for 35 minutes with only water to show for it. Finally it was our turn to order so we ordered our drinks, appies, and mains all in one go in fear that she would never come back. The appies came about 20 minutes later and there wasn’t much of anything. Expensive appies for not much food at all. Disappointing. And to boot, the calamari was the worst I’ve had in town.......ever. The bruschetta was okay though. Our mains finally arrived and I will say that those were tasty and worth the price we paid. When finished we asked for the bill and then the table behind us were like “Excuse me....can we order some dessert!? Like do you have time to take our order right now!?” Seemed we weren’t the only ones annoyed with the service. We got our bill and paid, $110.00 before tip for terrible calamari, half decent but small bruschetta, 1 alcoholic drink, one virgin Caesar, and 2 mains that were pretty tasty. $165.00 after tip because I’m a nice person. That tip was not warranted in any way. And the owner didn’t seem to care that her patrons were waiting FOREVER for anyone to acknowledge them. Terrible service, sub par appies. Expensive for what we got this time around. Will definitely be thinking twice before going back next time.
Always a favourite pick! Great food, excellent wine, and consistent service.
Great food great service restaurant highly recommend if in PG .
Best tomato sauce ,homemade.
Complemented the arancini beautifully.
6 of us for dinner. Food overall was very good although a few things were not hot. Our biggest issue was slow service. The server we had was very pleasant and we had no concerns with her specifically. Not sure if they were staffed appropriately as it took 15-20 minutes to get our drinks and only 2 people got a second drink. Reservation was for 5:45 and we had a play to get to for 8:00. Once we got our dinners we were rushed to get to our play on time.
The crab cakes are always delicious. I enjoyed my meal and my evening.
The quality of the food ordered was very poor. The server was new so I do not want to be harsh
Great food in a relaxed atmosphere with the ability to visit with friends. Staff friendly and service good
Ur food is good but at times underseasoned a little salt and pepper before serving goes a long way . Your restaurant could use some TLC.. lightbulbs out, gum on the floor , staff eating at the bar. Just seems like it lost its zest for a good quality dining experience. I wouldn’t recommend cimos for a higher quality meal out. It’s become very casual and not in a good way .
Been here several times in the past and it was good so I am assuming they were having an off night although the managers choice in resolving our issue was exceptionally poor. We were seated quickly in a cozy booth in the corner. Appetizer was smoked salmon bruschetta. It was good, a little heavy on the garlic which overpowered the smoked salmon but it was still tasty. For drinks my daughter had a virgin pina colada. They forgot a straw (I know no straws and all but how do you drink a blended drink without a straw) no big deal but we had to ask twice to get one. My daughter had seafood chowder for her main and they forgot to bring a spoon. It was delicious though she said. I had the Tuscan steak and it was excellent but they forgot a steak knife. My wife ordered the pasta special chorizo and shrimp in a creamy sauce. When it arrived it was chorizo in a marinara sauce without a single piece of shrimp. Mistakes happen but this is where I think the manager let us down. We told our server and she had to check with her manager first. The manager came over and looked through the dish with a fork to make sure there were no shrimp and said the sauce was correct but she would take it to the kitchen. She came back and said they read the special sheet and the kitchen was making the wrong item all night and would get us a new one. Sucks to have to eat on your own when the rest of the table is done but I get it mistakes happen. Then the server brought the bill. It was full price for everything including the mixed up order. Mistakes happen but it was a big mistake and they should have up front offered at least the mixed up meal for free. I told the waitress this and she said her manager said she could offer us a coupon if we were unhappy. We don’t live in Prince George so that is not helpful. They had a big discussion and the manger came over and comped the problem meal. Everything was delicious but the manager should learn about good customer service and problem solving.
