Ciccio, is a neighborhood Italian Alimentari (Food) & Bar, featuring the specialties of Florentine cuisine through its quality prepared ingredients. The idea of this restaurant is just the simple elegance of traditional Tuscan food using local ingredients. This was my 3rd visit; favorites so far are the bread salad and octopus starter, the tagliatelle with polpettini, the pasta cooked in Chianti, the lemon pasta with baccala (miraculously, not salty!). The Chianti reserva is lovely, and goes well with all dishes. Intimate, casual, low-key; perfect spot for pre- or post-Film Forum/IFC screenings. Will definitely be coming back.

A great, little Italian nook with a European feel. Food was delicious and our waiter was very nice and helped me decide which pasta I wanted. There was a nice energy but not too loud. My friends also enjoyed the evening.

Really great--delicious pasta with seafood--fresh, interesting, well prepared. Fish with thin potato shavings on it was excellent also-very flavorful.
