Food was absolutely awful.
The middle row of tables of four should be cut down to tables of two. It was extremely uncomfortable being so tightly packed in with people and high chairs blocking the aisles. Other than the seating everything else about the restaurant was fine. The food was delicious and the service was great. If only we could have enjoyed it better than being packed in on all sides while trying to enjoy our meal.
Brunch was great
Everhthing was great, apart from the fact that the waitress got my order wrong. I asked for chicken with my pasta but never got it. I couldn’t bother to let her know because she stopped coming to check up on us. We had to wait a very long time to request for the desert menu and get the bill. Our reso was for 730 and we didn’t leave until 1130- THAT is how long it took to waive the waitress over on numerous occasions. Sad. Other than this, everhthing went well.
The deep fried squid rings are much better at lunch, not as heavily coated and my husband did not get the whole wheat crust he ordered for his pizza. By the time he got the correct order the rest of us had almost finished. Overall we enjoyed and will return.
Food was ok but would never come back without a groupon. Actually, I would never come back here at all. The service was so bad and the staff were miserable.
Although many tables open in the restaurant, only two tables they would offer us were by the door... were both freezing our entire meal even though I pointed out it was cold there.. they said they would have to ask if it was okay to seat me in the warmth..
Beautiful interior but seemed like I was paying for it instead of my meal. Food was good but again priced higher then it should be.. Wine was very overpriced -$25-35 for a glass.. opted for a sangria ($14). Service was okay, was corrected by the waitress about the pronunciation of the restaurant. Which is fine but instead of outwardly correcting me, she could have said the name in a sentence of hers to not embarrass me about it.
Overall wouldn’t go back. Not a great experience
This is our go to CIBO location however this night the restaurant was particularly cold. Also my lobster ravioli wasn’t up to par. Lacked flavour and the lobster meat was disappointing. Hope next visit is an improvement
Great service as usual, Great food , great customer service
New Year’s Eve! As always my boyfriend and I enjoy our time and meals immensely with CIBO. 10/10 always! Whether or not it’s a ‘random’ date night or a holiday like Valentine’s Day or NYE we’ve thoroughly enjoyed! Thank you!
My pasta came cold and congealed and my husband’s pasta was very watery. Food was not up to par. Service was fine. Replaced my pasta & offered me a glass of wine because of my meal - should have comped my meal. Not even close to being as good as it has in the past. At this point would not go back. There are many better restaurants at this price point.
Accommodating hostess and excellent waitress. Food was mediocre at best. Pizza was good as were the salads but the mains were mediocre. Two people had the seafood pasta. The clams were not in their shell or in the pasta, the shrimp were ok but the light tomato sauce was tasteless. We will not return.
Very pleasant and cosy atmosphere. We really enjoyed the 2nd floor as it was not crowded. Our food order did not come out very quickly which was great, as we don't like to be rushed during dinner.
The quality of the food has really gone downhill over the last two years. They increased their prices but have made their portions smaller than before. For example, we get the aranchini all the time but was extremely dry and bland the last two times we were there. They’ve also made it much smaller and have increased the price. Will be a while before we go back.
Did not have a good dining experience. Received very poor service from our server/bartender.
I went to Cibo with my daughter. Her meal was tagliatelle with meat sauce and mine was spaghetti with meatballs. Her meal was amazing. Very flavorful and fresh. Mine was dry and tasteless and the noodles were undercooked. The homemade focaccia is to die for!! It’s a tad pricey for what you get but I would definitely return.
Service was slow and sloppy. Seemed understaffed. Although the server was pleasant she was unable to keep up with proper service. dirty table, long wait after clearing for coffee/dessert. Other staff pitched in but even they did not clear the table properly or inform the server she should visit us.
There was a table of 6-8 kids making LOT of noise, running around and climbing on the chairs. The manager should speak up to the adults and not allow this behavior even at the risk of god forbid offending someone!
Unpleasant dining experience.
Hard to get a server and when it was close to the end the servers were cleaning up and very difficult to get a coffee with dessert
Went for brunch , which I have done before and previously enjoyed. This time I went the pizza station was closed during their brunch, this so what I usually go for, and doesn’t leave a whole lot of other options left. Very disappointed.
Was there before. I knew what I was getting! Love to visit Cibo again. Unfortunately their oven was broken so no pizza was served. Sad sad but everything was good!
Our sibling Christmas dinner celebration was great. We were seated upstairs in a large square booth outfitted with comfy soft cushions. Very cost on such a cold winter night. Appetizers, mains and dessert were all presented with eye-pleasing designs and were very flavorful. Attention to service was impeccable. We never had to look for a server. Only one detail was amiss- my husband ordered penne pasta in place of tagliatelle and the kitchen forgot. We didn’t say anything because he didn’t want to wait. Definitely recommended!
Love the food and the service.
We arrived to find out the pizza oven was broken, so pizza was off the menu. Pizza is almost half the menu! They sat 5 people at a table for 4, so we had to reorganize with better seating. The service was very slow, although our waiter was very friendly and professional.
We came for pizza; the pizza oven was broken. What more can I say?
Unfortunately the pizza oven was broken and pizza is what we came for. Service was slow even when the restaurant was not very busy. There was no gesture of compensation made for lack of pizza.
Super busy before the holiday season. Seated 1 hour after reservation; no one came to offer water or see how we were doing. Food was good and made to order.
First time there and was really impressed. We went for brunch, the food selection was good, the service was amazing!
Thank you for your positive feedback. We are thrilled you enjoyed your dining experience at Cibo Wine Bar. We look forward to seeing you again very soon! Best, Sarah K. Marketing Coordinator Liberty Entertainment Group
Service is just not up to par with the price you oay
I came here for thé Sunday brunch buffet after finding a Groupon. The selection was very good. They also have discounted drink specials too. The only negative were some of the food could have been warmer and the plates could have been cleared faster. Other than that, we had a really great experience.
Amazing service! Definitely my fav location!
Branzino was spot on delicious!
We had Sunday brunch using our Groupon. The spread was quite nice. We did expect to see more seafood but didn’t, no big deal. The carving station was a let down with the meat being cooked medium rare. The staff is nice. The pizza and pasta were yum. The cannoli....ooh!
I had a nice enough time at Cibo. The place looks and feels very nice and cozy. Servers pay attention and are helpful. I ordered the salmon and for the price I paid I felt the portion size was small and the flavour could have been better. Surprisingly enough the side orange salad and the asparagus were delicious and made me rank my meal higher. Pizzas are delicious.
Great service and good food.
Perfect for a girls night out! The food was delicious and the wine list had just what we were looking for. Our server was delightful.
As always, everything was amazing. The waffles are to die for.
Love the restaurant and ambience. Such a nice set up. I’m disappointed in saying that the value for money and what we paid for food and drink here just didn’t add up. Paying $20 something for a not so well portioned size of pasta, with not much to it was slightly disappointing. The location, ambience and decor here is amazing though and the service was good.
When reservations are taken it would be a good idea if you ask if you can climb stairs or not
Too many people, long line up, will not come back again.
