Cibo Wine Bar King St West
First time in Toronto. Me and my WIfe had our anniversary dinner at Cibo. Best word to describe our experience is Amazing
We had a delicious dinner and the wine our waiter suggested was fabulous. It was my birthday so we received 3 different desserts on the house which topped off a perfect night.
It was unclear that they do not offer regular kitchen service on Sundays for brunch. The quality of the food did not equal the value of the all you can eat buy in, I would not return for this set-up.
Very cute and awesome food! The short rib ravioli was superb!!!
I love going to cibo. The food is always amazing. If I were to give any feedback, is that the team that works there can be a bit more friendly. From the minute we entered the doors and upon leaving, no one even cracked a smile. Maybe they were tired from the weekend rush, but customer service and a smile goes a long way.
Though they didn’t do the special request I asked, the service, food, and wine were very good.
Unreal food! Service was excellent
Amazing food great atmosphere good price and nice staff friendly and helpful.
Really need to work on the staff and conjusted seating
Great dining experience as always. Service wonderful and half price wine on thurs before 7
I would probably try Cibo again, positives were wine selection, arincini balls and dessert, along with our waitress.
The negatives were the wine is over priced for a bottle, the cannelloni, was very Blah, so I would never order that again.
The atmosphere is nice....
Enjoyed our time.
Ambiance and food are great, servers very friendly. The wine is pricey...
This was one of the best meals I’ve ever had in my life! The quality of food was matched by the service and attention to detail. An empty dish or half filled glass was addressed in mere seconds. I’m already excited to head back again for another amazing meal.
Fantastic service, for was amazing and great wine selection.
Food is overpriced and didn’t meet my expectations.
Sara our server was fantastic. Food was great and using this reservation system worked well.
Amazing hosts, staff, chefs, and food. Would recommend to anyone!
Our waitress was amazing I forget her name , there was also another lady who helped me choose a wine similar to one I liked that wasn’t carried in the restraint and it was amazing
Much prefer your Yorkville location. The vibe on King Street was not quite as appealing as your other location.
Food, wine, cocktails, service and ambience all first rate! Would definitely return.
Best lobster ravioli ever!
Great Wines, nice service personell and busy restaurant
Food was rushed and we had to hold our appetizers and wine glasses so the server could make room for our entrees. Server also spilled red wine all over my jacket over the course of the meal (that’s what a napkin is for when pouring red wine!).
The server was amazing. Super friendly and knowledgeable. The food was Ok. We had a few pasta dishes to share and they were slightly bland. However, I have eaten here before and had a better experience with the food.
My customer were super happy with the waiter! He was very accommodating and he provided service in Spanish! Loved the place and food
Fun place, consistently good food (I have been to the Yorkville and Yonge St locations before). Our server was great, suggested a really nice wine and her favourites from the menu. I can't answer to value as I did not pay but, looking at the menu prices, it seemed in line with a nice place out downtown.
We were in the small section at the front of the restaurant, close to the front door, so issue with the cold. Nice to be in a less noisy area, but my friend spent the whole meal wrapped in her scarf! Maybe need a better 'insulator' door?
Fun night out with the girls!
Very good as per the usual. My cannaloni was a bit cold in the middle but nothing to send back. The one thing I was a little upset about was the bread and olives now have a charge! When we asked our Server why the change, she indicated that some customers were abusing the privilege so the owners put a charge on it. $3.00 isn't a lot of money, but I would say continue to make the bread and olives complimentary and if the table wants more than one, charge them the $3.00 then! Just my two-cents. Thanks for a great dinner!
Staff were so nice- food was amazing.
Noisy, large restaurant, table location was cramped and unappealing. Wait staff were young and inexperienced. The food was ok, pastas we ordered were cold, sent back to be warmed up. Overall not a particularly pleasant experience.
Everything was great except our service. Our server pretty much ignored us the entire time. Our plates were never cleared- so they were piled up on our table until we called someone over to ask them to be cleared. We ordered drinks and when they were finished we were never asked if we wanted another nor were we offered water. It was a shame because it ruined our experience there. Everything else was amazing, especially the food, but the service will keep us from taking friends there.
Food and chefs were great the hostesses were efficient and available but not overly communicative, although friendly. Overall great experience
Pre-theatre dinner with a friend I haven’t seen in a while.
Loved the ambience and decor and the fact there was nice space between the tables so you didn’t feel crowded and couldn’t hear other conversations.
Food was good but I found my lobster ravioli to be over-salted which overwhelmed the flavour of the lobster.
Service was punctual, professional and friendly. My only complaint would be that our server brought the check before asking us if we were interested in coffee/dessert/aperitifs. I appreciate their concern in getting us on our way in time for the play, but it wasn’t even 7pm yet and we were 2 blocks away from the theatre. .
That being said, I would consider giving Cibo a second chance in the future.
I went with my daughter and girlfriend. Every time we go we are well taken care of especially my 2 year old daughter who they absolutely love. Service, food is amazing at cibo. This is why we keep going back to my favourite restaurant.
Server was so boring and had no opinions on the menu. The music level was far too low creating a very poor conversational vibe. Restaurant environment was beautiful and the food was pretty good. Compared to gusto and terroni I would choose those over cibo.
Alright lunch. Alright service. Alright everything.
Wonderful food and service! ❤️
Great valentines experience. Great food, wine, and service.
Amazing food and ambiance! My one and only criticism is that the chairs are a bit uncomfortable and tables a tad bit too small. Overall loved our experience and would 100% recommend this to friends and family. The food is amazing and service was beyond great. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth the money
