Came here for Father’s Day, food was great and service was excellent. Lovely spot!
Would not recommend this restaurant especially for brunch on Sunday. Have eaten here numerous times in the past and found the service and food to be great.
Unfortunately, we had brunch at Cibo today, and even though the restaurant was less than half full, the service was terrible. We had to wait over 20 minutes for a drink order, and after this point they were very quick to bring soft drink refills. When the bill arrived we discovered why as they charge $3.50 for each drink which consisted mostly of ice. We asked to speak with the manager who refused to come to our table, I’m guess customer service is not high on their list since the manager wanted no interaction with the customers. In the end it was the waitress who advised they had removed 2 of the 6 soft drinks from the bill. Imagine, a manager who’s responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction could not make the time to come to our table as requested. Failing grade for this restaurant. Will not be dining here in future and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone else. Customers beware!!!!!
I went for Sunday brunch with my family for Father's Day and it was a great experience! The food was delicious and fresh and made to order and the wait staff was so pleasant and accommodating! We sat on the new patio which was perfect for a sunny Sunday. My only recommendation would be to add signs to where all the different food stations are so they are easier to locate otherwise you risk missing out on some amazing food!
Would definitely go back and have already recommended to others.
Thank you for a great Fathers Day meal!
Overall was great and fresh food. Will definitely go back
A lively and energetic resto! Food was good, ambiance even better. Service was a bit slow but overall, a good resto.
Great as always
Good spot on King near to theatre district - service a bit erratic food quality was very good , reasonable prices on wines and some on 50% clearance !
Somewhat crowded tables but good vibes
Great first impression. Will be back with a larger group and book a private room
Service was excellent. Food tasted really good and came quickly! No complaints about this restaurant.
Seafood apps and polenta fries were great. Spinach salad was spinach with a few tiny pieces of cheese and dried fig, not worth the price tag.
Had a good time - dinner with friends. Server knew the menu. Great atmosphere. Lots of space in the restaurant.
This was our first visit to Cibo's. The place is very energetic - it has a nice vibe - but be prepared for lots of noise. Seating is spacious, so you're not too close to the next table, so that helps. We had a range of appetizers and absolutely loved the eggplant parmigiana - it had great texture and flavour- not too squishy or oily or overly breaded which tends to be the norm in other places. The squid was very good too - nicely grilled. The chardonnay we ordered wasn't chilled at all, which is surprising for a wine bar and we felt the wine menu was limited for a place that has wine in its name!
Extremely, extremely salty.
Great spot for client entertainment. Great food, love the appetizers.
Looking forward to dining on the King Street road expanded patio!!
We had a great waiter. Sebastian was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Food was fantastic.
We ordered two 9 0z glasses of wine.
Pricing was exorbitant and not as understood as per menu.
Had the grilled octopus salad and rice ball apps both were delicious. Chicken Parmesan and lobster ravioli for entrees also really good. Delicious bread and olives to start off. Lovely server and great food add in a nice Cabernet and it all adds up to a nice night in Toronto.
The appetizers were good, but the pasta was undercooked and underwhelming (For both parties). The service was a bit slow too but it was dinner time. Overall an ok experience.
The lasagna we ordered was very sad, but overall, we had a great time at Cibo.
Delish! Never disappoints! My 10th time here and cant wait to come back!
Pre-set the menu before arriving and had nothing but an amazing experience. Highly recommend calling ahead to pre-order, especially for a special occasion. It was a worry-free night that we thoroughly enjoyed as everything came out course after course for us. Food was outstanding as usual. We are looking forward to using the service again and dining with Cibo in the near future!
We ordered a selection of small plates between three of us and enjoyed every dish. My sister is coeliac and the menu spelled out which items are gluten free plus our server was very helpful. We really enjoyed it
Quick place to go before the theatre. Food was ok
Plenty of great food options, drink choices and the food is always delicious!
Excellent service, fantastic ambience and absolutely loved the food. Thank you! :)
The ambiance was really beautiful and romantic. The food was great tasting and reasonably priced. Enjoyed the complimentary bread; however, was not enough for 6 people.
Birthday ... not recognized by venue or staff
The wait staff were amazing and food was delicious. The only complaint is that a friend at the table listed an allergy and when the food arrived, the ingredient was in the dish. When it was returned, all the kitchen did was warm up the same dish again and did not replace the dish. It had to be sent back a second time. Waitress was very apologetic and we were not charged for the dish. The kitchen staff need to listen when instructions are given for allergies. It’s a huge liability to the restaurant.
Amazing food and the server was very knowledgeable of the food and timing of each course.
Unfortunately, food was WAY better at Yonge location. Very disappointed
Great spot. The hostess was awesome at finding a way to accommodate us on the patio on a beautiful evening. Will definitely return.
Had dinner with a friend here the other night. Food was delicious! Had a peach sangria (which was soooo good), penne with vodka cream sauce (great portion and very very tasty), and house-made gelato for dessert (super refreshing!). My friend and I ended up staying for about 4 hours but our server was attentive the entire time. Great place to have good food and good conversation!
Appetizers were excellent.
Entrees not very good. Fish very dry and over cooked.
Waited well over an hour between finishing our appetizers and before our meal was brought.
Manager acknowledged they were very busy and to make up for it gave us dessert tray and some Prosecco which was a nice gesture.
Food was good however the appetizer portions were quite small(not so good value) however taste was spot on.
Pasta portions were decent but might not be filling on its own.
Overall great spot for any occasion.
Excellent food and good value. I’ve never seen my daughter eat so quickly.
Great atmosphere and delicious food. One of our go-to restaurants in the city.
It was our first time dining here at Cibo having been recommended as a really nice spot. So we came to celebrate Mothers Day brunch buffet.
We were seated in a timely manner having made a reservation. The food was delicious particularly the Beef Rigatoni and being a buffet the opportunity to taste several dishes was a bonus. The service was prompt, our server was personable and the atmosphere was satisfactory. We were seated at the window and quite frankly would have preferred to be seated inside the main dining area which was a more attractive space.
All in all we had a great time an will certainly return.
