Scott was amazing!!!! Amazing meal and service
Excellent service and food. It was great to get out!
Fantastic food and staff that are very helpful and quick with orders!
Great food and staff was kind and quick.
There was no music on the patio, no vibe. Food lacks flavour.
Kyla was AMAZING and made us feel very welcome after a very long hiatus- thank you for a memorable experience!
About last night…🤩
.@cibo_winebar was my choice for first ☝🏻dinner 🍽 on the patio
It was A cornucopia of delicious 😋 The patio, the ambiance and having Toronto open again 🙌🏻
Truly a beautiful re-introduction to the world 🌎
An absolute thrill ride 🎢 for the taste 👅 buds!!
We ordered the following
Chianti Classico 🍷
Grilled Calamari 🦑
Beef 🥩 Carpaccio
Mushroom 🍄 Medley
Seafood 🦞 Risotto
Braised Short Ribs 🍖
Pure perfection 👌🏻the food was to die ⚰️ for!
I’m telling you 🗣
there is a chalk outline of my body on that patio from the first bite of that braised short rib 🍖😱
It was a beautiful experience with amazing service from everyone.
Good Italian food. Flatrock red Wine glass @ $23 is a bit much for a bottle you can buy for about $20.
Arrived on time for my reservation we were seated at a high top table that was unstable and wobbily, server didn't offer to fix. It started to rain, there were 3 empty tables that had an umbrella covering. We asked to move we were told no 3 separate times and was told by our server and hostess we can stay or leave but cannot be moved as the table was reserved. Not sure if she was a manager but a lady walked by and told us they prioritize reservations over walk ins so there was nothing she could do. When we told her we had a reservation she apologized then miraculously a few minutes later we were moved to a covered table. She commented there's a lot of new staff in training. This should not have been a fight in the first place, the rake it or leave it option was unacceptable. My food came, had to be send back as server didn't place the order correctly and apologized. I tried my best to be patient understanding recent reopening but poor service is unacceptable! I did not feel like a valued guest. I would not return, I would not recommend. Left feeling disappointed and annoyed.
The food was positively delicious and the cocktails we’re generous. The ambiance was wonderful, as was the service. 10/10 will go back.
Great patio, big umbrellas for shade, good cocktails
CIBO really does pick out the best wines!!
Food, patio and atmosphere great. But the wine is off the charts
A wonderful experience. We were served by Kyla, who was by far one of the best servers I have ever had in the city! She was knowledgeable, so friendly, and completely on the ball! Her wine recommendations were to die for, and paired perfectly with our delicious food!
Not pleased with how reservations are managed. They wouldn’t allow us to sit in the shade saying they are keeping those tables for bigger parties while there were several parties of two already sitting there. Food is just ok and pricey. Chairs extremely uncomfortable!!! Do not recommend in general.
Amazing food honestly, the calamari had the yummiest garlic dip ever. Also for the tiger prawn appetizer as well and the sauce it was submerged in was delicious! As a main me and my friend shared the fusilli pasted and added some sun dried tomatoes and shrimp and chilli and it was DELICIOUS.
Awesome! Will be coming back
Came for a friend’s belated birthday. Had Brent as our server & he was amazing! Made our evening. Service was impeccable and he was so personable. Food & drinks were fantastic and we can’t wait to come back. Very happy with our overall experience and would return if not solely for how great Brent was!
So so good. Came here for my first meal out after lockdown number two. It was 10/10. The braised beef ravioli is delicious!
in these difficult times, it was so refreshing to feel just a little bit normal. Kudo's Cibo for providing a near-normal experience as possible
I was so pleasantly surprised at how well the outdoor seating was set up. The plexy glass covered a lot of the wind and we were not cold at all!
Food was nice. I’ve ordered seafood pasta in many restaurants on Kung street and all of them tasted like ammonia based on poor preservation/ hygiene. I had sworn I would never order it again and took a chance here - and it was lovely! Also got the best espresso martini in my 2 years of living here. I would come back for that alone. Service was fab too, waiters were lovely.
Service could have been a little more attentive. Host took a while to come greet us and did the server after we were seated.
The food was great!
Thank you for helping us celebrate a special birthday on the patio today. The warmth from the staff was exceptional. We felt very safe with the kids and the team made sure social distancing and contact tracing was followed. We hope to return soon!! Many Thanks again:))
food was great, service outstanding! Would go back, they did a great patio service
Restaurant was very empty. Damn Covid!!
Great food and service.
Attentive service. Great pizza. Comfortable booth. I will definitely return
Server Kimberly was absolute trash, I’ve never experienced such terrible service at any restaurant before. I even emailed the manager and heard nothing back which was very disappointing. I’ll just paste that email here as well since I never heard back ....This email is regarding my experience at this specific location. I have never been treated so poorly by a sever in my life. My boyfriend and I came to celebrate a very special night for us, it had even been noted when I made my reservation. Our server Kimberly was insanely rude and didn’t seem to bother asking us if we needed anything. She took our drinks order extremely aggressively without a hello even. Honestly I am a server myself and I understand she could’ve been having a bad day, however I noticed she had no problem speaking with the table next to us, and I actually would go as far as saying it’s because they were white. She didn’t seem to have issues with them, I tried asking her for a box and the bill and she completely walked away without listening to us needing the bill. I just wanted to say the attitude on her was horrendous and she should be very thankful that we were not the time to make a scene. I have been to this location 5 times now and this is the worst experience I‘ve had. We actually didn’t end up ordering a lot more than we wanted either, because she didn’t check up on us after the guy who dropped off our food left it there. Like I said I myself am a server which is why I tipped her $5 (which I find assaulting anyways) but after her taking the machine without a thank you I wish I hadn’t tipped at all.
No complaints about the service we received. Hostess and wait staff were professional and courteous. Not sure if they changed their chef since my last visit. But, the carbonara (a previous favourite), came served more like noodles swimming in a fettuccini sauce and the original order of lasagna was nothing more then a plate of sauce with a noodle thrown in to give it some consistency (sad because in the past this was also a great go to). Waitress was receptive and understanding to issues brought forward. Used to be a go to restaurant but if this is what the food will be like I’m not sure I will be quick to return
Sat outside, on their street patio (new I’m sure due to Covid). It was very nice. Street noise from some cars but a nice view of CN Tower. Sommelier was a great help and picked out a lovely wine. Had an arugula salad, which was great. Linguine with chicken and pesto, the pesto was missing something. I can’t put my finger on it but it was still enjoyable. Got the lemon ricotta cheesecake, so yummy. We were celebrating a birthday and anniversary. So they gave us an extra dessert, the chocolate bomb, which was amazing as well.
Cibo never disappoints. It was a birthday celebration.
it was lit, i recommend it for a nice romantic date. food was also amazing.
Amazing food!!like really amazing ... great service (thank you Sarah!!!) amazing wine ... beautiful atmosphere . Can’t wait to return
Nice ambiance, good distanciation. Food was just okay.
Waiter was extremely rude and didn't know anything about the menu. When my group of 4 had asked questions regarding the wine menu, waiter said he will call someone else to come and help. He took 20 minutes to call a lady who was giving me attitude for no reason. I will not be coming back.
All the food was good except the mushroom risotto was undercooked and dry. We didn’t have time to send back and get new ones made. Other then that I had a excellent time
Food and service was excellent. Would recommend.
The food wasn’t good. The quality has dropped !
We were sat on the patio, or rather asked to seat ourselves ... no menu or direction on how to find the menu items. We found a barely legible QR code attached to the table and were able to scan and see the menu through the website. We sat there for close to 10 minutes before I headed inside to let someone know that we were ready to order. A few minutes later a server came out to us and proceeded to tell us about the busy lunch they had just finished and we arrived in the middle of down time. A simple apology would have been fine, which we didn’t receive. Bumpy start for sure, but after this the cocktails were great, the food was delicious and expedited perfectly. As our server was now off we closed out our bill with her and stayed to finish our wine. A new server came over and got us set up with fresh water, and after our wine was finished we had decided to stay for one last cocktail, mine being a Manhattan and my friend a Negroni. Oddly the server felt the need to tell us that both of these drinks are strong and offered different options for us. Taking a little offence to this we decided to finish our cocktails and head somewhere else to finish out our night.
