Cibo Waterfront Cafe
Everything was awesome.
The atmosphere and food are great. Very difficult to carry a conversation tho, noise level is very high.
Great appetizer, good craft beer. Main course meals were very good, CIBO burger was slightly dry but still good. Good dessert selection
My fries that came with my blackened club were cold, waitress did get me new ones but they should never of come cold to begin with. Also my blackened club sandwich had bacon slices that were barely cooked. I had to remove them from the sandwich as I could not eat them. Waitress was advised but never offered a solution to that. Really too bad as my first visit here a few months ago went very well. So yes I would recommend to friends but warm them about my cold fries and nearly raw bacon.
Food was good - but found the restaurant too loud for my tastes.
I wish there was more of a selection. Everything was great but I have to admit that I found the soup had no flavour.
Burger week - delicious!
Excellent service and food was delicious! We enjoyed the bruschetta and pizza. Pretty good selection of craft beer and the sangria was tasty. Our waitress was absolutely fabulous! Thank you for a great evening!
The CIBO restaurant is in a beautifully situated area along Waterfront Dr. an area thats idealy positioned close to Shaw Park & downtown Winnipeg. I was a little disappointed that the boardwalk that wraps around the Cafe could not accommodate dining because of City bylaws. It's airiness many windows and terrific staff was Great! The menu selection was very good . I would like to return with more of my friends to experience it's unique atmosphereagain.
Was a great experience for casual dining with great food
We came for dinner for our friends Bachelorette and it was the perfect ambiance for a low key evening. Beautiful design and scenery, excellent service and the food was even better.
Bruschetta is a must! So many unique flavours and one order was enough to share for the table.
This is definitely a new favourite for a casual night out or special event and we will be back in the future.
We had a great time at Cibo’s, the food and service was excellent!!
When wanting to have a small side salad instead of French fries, I was surprised to be charged an additional $1.50 for a plain tossed green salad. This additional charge also left me without French fries. So I was charged $17 for a fried chicken sandwich. This was not well explained by the server and was difficult for even her to understand. The server did not seem confident enough to broach the challenge with the restaurant management. Dessert was good ; however, $11 for a slice of cake is at least $2 more than most restaurants do charge.
The food and service was very good. And the table was ready when we showed up for our reservation. The grapefruit mojito was super good!
Excellent food and service. The pisco sour was superb!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would love to return for a date night. We went with 2 other couples and we all loved the food, the service, the ambience, and the view! A big thumbs up!
Great casual restaurant. If looking for fine dining this is not the place.
Our server was very attentive and brought us ketchup before we knew we were out.
Good food but doesn’t look the menu has changed much over the last few years. Also not a lot of gf options.
All the cocktails we tried were amazing and the portion size of the food was very fair.
Booked for the first time ever for my birthday get-together! Everything was nice & smooth right from booking the reservation. Would definitely come back!!
It was great. One big negative was that our drinks (wine and cocktails) arrived WITH our food. We ordered drinks as soon as we sat down!
Everything was wonderful except for the noise level. It was too loud as there were 2 Stagette parties there that evening and they were pretty loud. Other than that all was lovely
Food was so so. Definitely not worth returning. The building is beautiful.
Great food. Smallish menu, but good variety. And DELICIOUS! Wait staff were super friendly.
We had a lovely lunch. Food was delicious, seating comfortable with a great view of the Red River. I will return!
This was our second time going to Cibo for dinner and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal again.
We also had the pleasure of having Jeremy as our Waiter both times! Jeremy made our experience even more enjoyable as he is truly one of the best waiters we’ve experienced. He is attentive and genuine and always had a smile on his face.
We will be returning sooner than later and look forward to our next dinning experience.
Fantastic! Beautiful experience! The atmosphere was beautiful, the service was top notch and the food was superb, great ingredients and great care in the preparation.
Cibo is one of my favourite places in the city. The menu is small but not limited because everything offered is fantastically curated and delicious. The drink menu is great too.
I am in love with the building but unavoidably it lends to being super loud so expect to have your dinner conversation lively! Winter or summer, you can’t beat the ambience.
The bruschetta assortment is fantastic and the arancini are always a winner!
We had a wonderful anniversary dinner at Cibo’s. From the appetizers to the mains, to the espresso and lattes, everything was delicious. While it was busy, the service was quick, pleasant and professional. We will definitely be coming back.
Katarina was extremely accommodating and very friendly !
This was my first time eating at Cibo. It can be a little tricky to find as its behind the Mere hotel & parking isn’t ideal, but it’s a pleasant walk from the car in Aug & the location is beautiful. The food was reasonably priced & all homemade. I will definitely eat here again. A great place for lunch!
Burger was really bad comparative to other places. Actually, even in burger king burgers better. Sorry for saying this...
Very poor service. It took us over an hour to get our breakfast and I was almost done by time the last person of our party got there food
Food and service were excellent!
Everything about Cibo was perfect. Gorgeous little spot overlooking the river. Food was great. Service was great. Only downside was the fish was frozen, not fresh.
We came for a business lunch. We had reservations for 12. We ordered fairly quickly but never received our food until after 1. We were lucky our clients were flexible. Disappointed for a downtown lunch spot.
All was good except we wanted a Mimosa for our anniversary and they had no orange juice.
