This lovely, friendly, restaurant in a wasteland of good dining spots lost its lease with SL Green who doubled the rate with no negotiation. Our "go to" favorite is gone after 22 years. I am in mourning!

We went here recently with a group of 10 on a Sat night. Made reservations a week ahead of time and were seated when we arrived. Good food & good service.

Went with friends and totally enjoyed ourselves. The appetizers were a bit sparse but the entrees were terrific.

Described as having Tuscan-New American fare. Would suggest that the menu leaned more towards plain Italian and there was little evidence of New American in any of the offerings Decor was dated, although the dining room was decked out for Valentine's Day with red slipcovers on all the chairs. Food and service were decent enough, but I would not place this establishment on a list of must-do returns.

Cibo is a favorite go to place in the neighborhood as it never disappoints. Food and service are good, and prices reasonable. I've never been disappointed.

My wife and I had another wonderful meal at Cibo this Martin Luther King weekend. Even though our neighborhood offers several excellent restaurants, this place stands out for the consistent quality of its food and service. We have noticed that the standard of quality at some restaurants declines during a holiday weekend. This is certainly not the case at Cibo.
