Great restaurant week choices, from food to service and especially ambiance and the vibe made it great to always dine in this neighborhood 💎
For a 4.5 star restaurant def not worth it.
The assorted meats and cheese platter looks like it was at least a day old , not fresh at all.
The ravioli felt like i was chewing on plastic.
We asked for a medium cooked steak, and it was cooked well done.
Service was good, but not the food.
WE are regulars at Cibo and bring all of our friends here. Unfortunately, this one time did not come up to our liking nor expectations.
We had theater tickets, so had a specific time we needed to leave. We told the waitress that when we arrived. Fist off, she took a LONG time to get to take our order. Then the appetizers took forever. 3rdly, we did not get served our meal until 8 minutes till the time we had to leave. 4th, both of the pasta dishes served to us were undercooked, hard pasta.
We complained to the manager who took the two pasta dishes off of our meal. The other two people only had time for 2-3 bites of our meals before we had to run.
I don't think our friends will come back to the restaurant. We will, but we were disappointed and embarrassed.
I went with three friends in the afternoon. The brunch menu was all that was offered. I would have liked more options, but the dishes we chose were very good.
we ate off the NYC restaurant week menu: grilled octopus and beet salad, NY strip steak and cappellacci al funghi, tiramisu. food was incredible, service was very nice, wine and cocktails were delicious, we got a seat in the corner of the restaurant and the ambiance was perfect! will definitely return. my only cons: it was a little loud, and the restaurant did not seem very accessible for wheelchair users. it would be tough to fit a wheelchair through the doors that you have to enter in their outdoor seating to get into the restaurant.
Service was excellent. Food was on point. beautiful dining areas.
Excellent place for dating! However, it is worth of pointing out that the dry-aged ribeye has an unexpected large size and would serve at least 3 people well. Again, an excellent place to go for special days!
Food serving a little slow and could due shortage staff, otherwise good, and will return
Charming in a low key, unpretentious way. Mix of young professionals maybe in their 30s and older adults. Quiet conversations. Nice small bar. Heated outdoor dining option substantially more charming than a shed or yurt. Friendly.
Great dinner for restaurant week. we sat outside and was afraid we woudl be cold but instead we were super warm. The service was amazing and the person pouring water was always there refilling our glasses. it was our first time at this restaurant and I highly recommend it.
Good food but portions can be bigger
Cuboid e vino is one of our favorite UWS restaurants. We were regulars when we lived in the neighborhood and still return when visiting the city because it so reflects what we love about this neighborhood: warmth, value and sophistication.
Amazing as always
They took precautions with vaccination and ask for vaccines for outdoor dining too, it felt very safe for our party.
Great outdoor space! Very pretty decorated with flowers and very well heated so you feel pretty warm during a cold evening!
Try cappellacci al fungi from their dinner menu, very delicious.
What a beautiful atmosphere to eat in! And the food was fantastic, if a bit pricey. Could not make me a café au lait, which I was surprised and disappointed at.
First time dining there and honestly it was terrific. Loved the staff and the food was delicious b
Cute place, and great service, but the people dining there were extremely loud with kids screaming and running around. It was terrible and our dinner was not worth the expense.. we were looking for a relaxing dinner and it was the opposite of it. Also the food is quite heavy and is in humongous portions, and the drinks are overpriced
Always an amazing experience- the food, the ambiance, the beautiful outdoor setup - all is perfect!
Very mediocre. Under seasoned, unexciting, average
Food was good was disappointed with the decorations being that it was Christmas.
Wonderful place, warm, inviting. Our server, Diana, lovely and attentive. Food, unbelievably delish! Thank you, we had a perfect night!
We went for Christmas dinner and requested to sit outside because of rising COVID cases. We were sat in a crowded enclosed area so it was essentially like sitting inside. After we asked to move to a table to an open window, we were essentially ignored by the waitstaff for 20 mins. I had to go to the host’s stand to bring this to their attention. Once they came to take our order things improved.
Perfect Christmas Day dinner.
Very good food, nice restaurant.
The price of wine by the glass is a little bit expansive
The food is always excellent and the service impeccable
Delicious pasta Nice wine. Kind and attentive service.
The atmosphere and the space its so welcoming and cozy, their drinks are top notch and well going with the food.
Disappointing meal at Cibo e Vino. The menu looked great and we were happy to get a heated outdoor table. Then the appetizers came and the soup was lackluster, and the burrata slightly “off” and tangy. Never had that before. The antipasto plate was bland and had Camembert and other soft French-style cheeses. Strange.
Of the mains, the mushroom pasta was very good, the (eagerly anticipated) zucchini lasagna was way over salted and had a very thick layer not-so-fresh Parmesan on it. The steak was good, but not good enough to take the leftovers home.
The service was uneven, at times super-attentive and at other times nowhere to be found. Overall, the better part of the evening though.
So, for a “meh” dinner for 4 the check came to almost $300 — way too much for the weak quality of the food.
I always enjoy Cibo y Vino…it is the best of neighborhood restaurants..warmth, good service and the cauliflower can’t be beat
Organic roasted chicken was absolutely delicious!
Everything was delicious, and the 50% off bottle "experience" was a bargain!
Very good, we will return.
Stunning outdoor setting !
Wonderful waitstaff, great food. Clean and comfortable what else could you want?
Fantastic!!! Romantic ambience, incredible food and wine. Great service!
Service was awful. The waitress brought out the wrong dinner orders. We had to wait hours for our dinners.
Beautiful restaurant, staff was so nice and welcoming. Went for brunch - portions too large to finish so we took home leftovers. Glad this is in the neighborhood - Always enjoy dinner but this was our first brunch there and it was quite nice.
Absolutely delicious. Great service. Lovely outdoor seating space.
Restaurant was not that busy when I arrived. Took a good while to get a drink. The chefs selection antipasto platter was pretty bad. It was poorly presented and looked like all of it was old. The Bolognese pasta was very good. The bronzini had very little seasoning and was tasteless. The vegetables underneath the fish were good but the entire meal needed a sauce or seasoning of some sort. It was very dry.
Server was overwhelmed with tables and got us the wrong drinks once and said she would credit two drinks but forgot to take off the bill until I pointed it out.
I would stick to pasta. They seem to do that fairly well.
My mushroom pasta was delicious! The quaint atmosphere was so nice. The service was great too! Sadly I left my scarf and wasn’t able to return to pick it up!
Truthfully, I’m still thinking g about my mushroom pasta ! Perfection !
