It wasn't our first time at Cibo e Vino and as usual we enjoyed very much. The service is very friendly and the food is delicious.
Beautiful inside and out. The Branzino is the best in the city!
Food was delicious- bottle of wine 50% off. Servers very pleasant - outside seating was lovely
Nice upper west side neighborhood spot. Fresh ingredients and bright flavor.
Very ordinary. Not surprising it is so empty for Sunday brunch compared to other places in area. Also no milk choice for latte but whole milk.
Great food, great service and one of the nicest outdoor seating DÉCOR around!
Food was delicious !! Courses perfectly paced. Servers excellent. Can't wait to return.
Great food and great outdoor area
Cauliflower appetizer was great, but pretty filling for two. Our two pastas were also delicious. Recommend the Montepulciano to accompany your meal.
I had the Branzino for the first time and it was excellent! The Chicken Milanese and the salmon are my go to's!
Excellent food and service. Our server was so friendly, gracious and on top of her game. (Wish I remembered her name - dark hair I think she spoke French.) Great value. Would have preferred indoors bc the interior is lovely, but my friend was uncomfortable. Next time!
I wish the outdoor shed's windows weren't covered with plexiglas. In nice weather, fresh air is preferable.
We had a lovely date in their magic outdoor area, great service! Coming back definitely
The food is good, the service is pretty good, most of the time, and the outdoor seating area is very pretty, with flowers twined around the construction scaffolding. (Really, it works!) Unfortunately the restaurant is on a busy corner of Broadway, with a fair amount of noisy bus traffic and (on weekend nights) gangs of motorcycles obnoxiously revving their engines up and down Broadway. You have to wait for them to pass before you can continue your conversation.
Music was too loud to hear each other. Asked for it to be lowered as did others.
Our drinks took 29 minutes to come. That is not an exaggeration. 29 minutes. However, our appetizer came out in about 2 minutes. We wound up not even ordering dinner - as the prices are ridiculous especially when pairing it with the service. The server was in no way equipped to handle her tables. We wound up paying around $75 for 2 half filled drinks (as seen in the photo - $17 a piece) and a beet salad appetizer. We love to support local business and understand there is a staff shortage - but then perhaps minimize the amount of available tables. I informed the hostess and she was apologetic and said it was likely due to a private party inside. Never again.
Very inviting restaurant with fantastic outdoor experience. Staff is friendly and efficient! Will definitely go back!
The bus boy was so responsive and proactive I was so impressed.
Of course so was the waiter.
Delicious food. Charming ambiance and really tasteful decor. Loved it!
Cibo e Vino has done a terrific job of creating a welcoming and attractive outdoor area on a busy block. The open doors on a pleasant evening added to the ambiance. This was our first time eating here and the food is excellent and portions generous. We especially enjoyed the octopus appetizer, pasta with mushrooms, organic chicken, and salmon. Dessert is smallish and not really enough to share unless you just want a couple of bites. The half-price bottle of wine is a bit gimmicky since the bottles are overpriced to begin with. As for the service, it seems all local restaurants are struggling to staff up. So it was 15 minutes before we were asked about a drink order and longer to receive a bread basket. After that things improved. The music was initially very loud but was lowered on request. Plus it was rock, which just doesn't match the atmosphere. Why not smooth jazz, standards or Italian/continental? I wish restaurants would pay more attention to background music. Overall, however a positive experience and we will be back.
I went twice in 3 days and would go back in a heartbeat.
Excellent in every way!
Located on a busy street so indoors is preferred over street side tables.
Loved it. Hi to Elena and Dragon! Get some good dark rum in for a change, please!!
Everything good except noise level. Turn off or way down the music
If you are looking for good food, great ambiance, good service, reasonable prices, and quiet music, go here. I'll be coming back...
Lovely outdoor space
The pasta dishes and tuna tartare were great, but my dinner companion was not a fan of the scallops
Great brunch choices. Very relaxed atmosphere. No one rushing you out.
Cute outdoor set up with flowers everywhere, food was great!
Had a lovely time celebrating my dad’s birthday here! Everyone that works here was incredibly kind and the food was delicious!
Lovely local restaurant with outside seating. Delicious food. Wonderful service.
HOT AND UNCOMFORTABLE. The windows were open but on a hot night there needs to be at the VERY least air moving; without that it’s miserable. The AC was off and only one ceiling fan was turned on. Our evening was derailed by the oppressive heat and a constant need for water. When we told the staff they merely agreed that it was hot, they made no attempt to fix the issue.
The food was fine but the two requests we made for basic changes to dishes were both ignored. We asked for cheese to be omitted on two dishes, both arrived covered in cheese.
Would not go back.
Great outdoor seating
Had a lovely date with my partner. The outside seating is lovely. Fantastic touch by ownership to have the florals installed. Gnocchi melted in our mouths!
I was a little worried since it was almost TOO easy to get a brunch reservation, and the restaurant was empty when I got there. However, I was delighted by the great food, coffee, and cocktails. The brunch menu is limited to some fairly standard yet refined options, but if you like the options available you will be pleased with your meal. This is not the cheapest brunch option but I will gladly pay a little more in order to have such a relaxing, sane brunch experience. I have no desire to "fight" for brunch reservations or to wait forever in a long line only to feel rushed during my meal, so Cibo e Vino may be my go-to for future nice brunches. I would gladly come back to try dinner here as well.
All good, prices are easily 25% - 30% higher than pre-COVID with a reduced menu. Service, ambiance and food are still worth the trip
Great food and great people. Service was wonderful. All the pasta are very good and the tiramisu is the best i have ever tasted.
We had a delicious dinner served by a very attentive staff in a very warm setting. Can't beat that!
Excellent service 👌🏼
