LAST SEATING FOR DINNER AT 10:15 pm
I have introduced Ciao Cristina to many people - and they all love it. The food is always perfect and authentic. The wine list has been thoughtfully put together. And the people who work there love the restaurant as much as I do, so they treat you like family. One of my favorite places to eat.
We absolutely loved it! The service was wonderful and all of the food was absolutely amazing. Made fresh as it took a bit longer but we were in no rush and really enjoyed the entire experience!
First time at Ciao and really enjoyed it. Tess, our server was very nice. Food was hot and delicious. Chicken parm very moist and my son enjoyed the gluten free penne. Minestrone soup delish! Would definitely come back.
We love this place! The service is the best, dishes are always changing and so good, and the pizza crust is the best I have tasted! And the garlic rolls.
Cathy was our server, she really went above and beyond to make sure everyone got what they wanted - adults and kids alike. The food was delicious - pastas, pizzas, salad, soup, dessert. Atmosphere was very relaxing; perfect after a day of work and sitting in traffic. Definitely recommend this place.
Wonderful service by Kathy. Delicious garlic cheese rolls, chicken piccata, shrimp and scallop scampi, gelato and cappuccino. Great neighborhood restaurant
This is a very casual place but the food is quite delicious...
Food was hot and fresh, needed a place later evening for a group after a movie. They are very accommodating and friendly.
Bit pricier than expected since last trip and service charge added for employees health care to patrons checks. The company should cover that for the prices of wine or the side salads. Great staff. Tasty food.
I live in San Diego Co. and frequent Ciao Christina every time I'm near this restaurant..this last time twice, with two new people who have never been there....both loved the restaurant foodservice, and ambience.
We ordered food to go for a tv show taping. We all enjoyed our different paninis and salads. We each ordered a bottled water to go as well. They sold us 5 bottles (5 dollars a bottle for spring water) but didn’t tell us we needed bottle openers (they knew where we were going). So as we opened our food waiting at the taping we realized no one could drink one drop of our 25 dollars in water.
Horrible food, horrible ambience, and questionable prices: My family is of Italian descent, and we eat and cook Italian food all the time. We were excited to try this place, as it looked like a small neighborhood place that may have good food. Boy were we disappointed. We ordered five different dishes, and they were all terrible. Think a bad 1950s version of what Italian food should be. Like overboiled spaghetti with ketchup bad. The "veal" was more akin to stringy, tough beef. The prices for this food? Wow. We'd gladly pay expensive prices if the meal was good. This one wasn't. Then there was the ambience: we thought, "this is across from the studios, it will be filled with execs." Nope. The place was filled with drunken, loud, very low-end folks sitting at the bar watching sports. Very odd crowd (think country-music festival) for an expensive Italian restaurant. Such a disappointment overall.
We had an evening event nearby and chose Ciao Cristina because of its proximity and the positive Yelp reviews. The food was quite good and the service attentive. Our reservation was honored on time — no delay.
I have two issues: The noise level was so loud that it made conversation difficult. This appears to be an inherent design problem and not readily solvable. The other problem also appears to have no resolution — there are about two or three parking spaces behind the restaurant with the alternative being driving the neighborhood streets and hoping to find a parking spot. I was able to do so — two blocks away.
I would be inclined to return for the food (and “suffer” with the noise) were it not such a problem with parking. My sense is that this is a combination neighborhood place that locals walk to and/or frequented by adjacent Warner Studio employees who can park in the adjacent structure (off limits to the general public).
The bolognese is my favorite! Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu!
We had a large group and every accommodation was made to be sure we were happy. Service was excellent, as was the food. We will definitely be back!
Love this place! Best pizza and pasta! Many different choices.
A casual restaurant near the studios. A good option for a low-key lunch or dinner.
Perfect meal, despite having walked in right after they had a surprising slam for world cup. We were the only customer but every other table needed cleared. That said, service to us was perfect, and the meal truly amazing.
One of our favorite spots when visiting Burbank. Always a great meal and great service.
The wine was good and the service was warm and super friendly. My chicken piccata suace was nice and tangy but chicken was dry and chewy. Polenta was great. My husband's calzone was huge (with air!) but mostly empty inside.
Oh no. I usually love this neighborhood rest but last night I was very disappointed. Ordered chicken marsela and it was super tough and dry. And this morning had stomach issues. Don’t know if it was related
So good it tastes homemade! Ordered pasta puttanesca, and the server was able to get the chef to add some delicious shrimp to the dish. The meatballs and spaghetti were also delicious. We used to order for delivery to our house all the time (the pizzas and salads are amazing), but sadly they stopped delivering. Great spot.
Always GREAT! I eat there a lot, never disappointed
Two friends and I went here to eat. It had been recommended to me by someone so we tried it. The server was very nice and attentive. None of us liked our food, though. Two of us had bolognese with pasta. One came out with the wrong pasta and they changed it out for us. I forget what our other friend had but he didn't care for it. We ended up leaving there and going to a diner to get food. The waiter was kind and took one of the meals off the bill. Could have just been an off night for the kitchen but for ya it didn't live up to its recommendation.
First time there and will go back again. We all enjoyed the dishes we ordered.
The service was outstanding and the food was phenomenal!!! I will definitely be going back.
Great food and service. Look forward to going back each time.
Food is outstanding. Loved this place!!
I was not expecting to be that good, from the food to everything else. I’ll go there every time
Food is so delicious! From appetizers to dessert, portions were ample and wonderfully seasoned. The garlic rolls and pizza are amazing - melt in your mouth.
We stopped at CiaoCristina! after visiting Warner Bros Studios and it was the best decision! It was so delicious, our waitress was very friendly and helpful. There was even a mix up with one of the members of our party's meal and our waitress fixed it right away and brought a complementary glass of wine for her. I worked at an authentic Italian restaurant (the owners were actually from Italy) for a long time and tend to be biased when it comes to authentic Italian cuisine, but CiaoCristina! was just as authentic and delicious as you could possibly get. I highly recommend!
This was such a great find. We chose to sit indoors and the restaurant has a cozy feel to it. The staff was super friendly from the hostess, to the bus boy. The restroom was clean and stocked. When I made it to the table to join the rest of my party, they were enjoying some amazing bread. I normally need butter, but these rolls were flavorful and didn't need anything. Our waitress was friendly, attentive and had a great sense of humor. Besides the food, she made our night. As for the food, everything we ordered tasted phenomenal. We normally add salt/pepper on our food but no one reached for anything. The portions looked average, but everything was so filling that we had to box the remainder of our pasta (i.e. Chicken Alfredo & Shrimp Scampi). Although we were full, we still ordered a tiramisu. It melted in our mouths and made us forget that we were stuffed from dinner. To top off a great dinner, we received a complimentary scoop of gelato. All-in-all, we will be back... as soon as we stop feeling full.
Visiting from TEXAS and looking for a good authentic Italian (No Chains).
Small little place great pasta, pizza and one mean calzone!
If return to that area again would definitely make the trip.
Staff from servers to busboys on the spot.
I love this place. I haven’t been disappointed yet! It cozy, delicious food and the service is awesome!
Although our food was good and the waitstaff was nice, I was extremely disappointed that the manager had not written our Open Table reservation in the book. Upon arrival I was told there wasn't a reservation and that we had to wait 20 minutes. The manager was not there and the staff tried to accommodate us as best they could.
If they are going to be part of Open Table they need to stand by those reservations.
We enjoyed our second lovely meal here-Fabulous food, fabulous presentation. The service was a little slow; the waiter forgot our appetizers. We weren't in a hurry and enjoyed our time there.
Not my first visit, always a winner. Michael's restaurant is a diamond in the rough.
Overall good food good service and prices are fair. Restaurant small and can get crammed.
Made reservation for New Years Eve on OpenTable and when we got there restaurant was closed! BAD! Extremely disappointed to say the least!
