Ciao Italian Restaurant
Great date night venue with your significant other. Old country cozy, romantic with excellent service and food. From the time you enter Ciao and greeted by Becky, the owner, and served by Sarah, your waitress, you will leave feeling like family. One of Little Rock's hidden gems.
Great place for a quiet awesome meal....the service is always great and the food is very good.
Lori took great care of us. We weren't rushed and her recommendations were spot on. Her timing was perfect!
The food and service were both remarkable. If your looking for authentic Italian food with great service, this is the place.
We reserved a table for 6 people for a bridal dinner. The food was amazing and had several menu options. Cutest hole in the wall restaurant but do not let the outside deceive you. The inside is cute with Italian feel and lovely art by local artists for purchase.
The only thing I would add is the light music because it was so silent that you can hear everyone's conversion.
I gave an overall 4 instead or 5 because the server wasnt as knowledgeable in wine & smaller plates did not accommodate the appetizers & bread. It was a little awkward when server put bread rolls on our plate after appetizers came out. My recommendation is invest in more bread baskets for larger parties to place on the table.
I would recommend this place to anyone who truly loves Italian food and looking for a romantic date. The price point was good as well. <3
service was very slow. food was amazing. fresh ingredients. claustrophobic.
waited for food over an hour, needed to get to a show, so was a little rusted
Awesome.....very quiet and the perfect atmosphere for business. Excellent service and food.
Worst Italian food I have had in a long time. Service was also terrible. It took over an hour to get our food. The cream of mushroom soup was made with canned mushrooms. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Took my husband for his birthday. Food was delicious! So yummy!!!
Service was prompt. Waiter was kind.
He was very dirty and a bit smelly. Needed a shower. We still left a good tip.
Unfortunately, they didn't read the reservation request. I shared it was his 49th bday so they could come sing . They didn't help me celebrate. This was a bit disappointing.
Also, the phone rang like crazy for Togo orders. It was do very loud!!! Very annoying and took away from ambiance. It literally rang non-stop.
We will return because food was so good.
Salmon was amazing!!!
I just see a few areas of needed improvement.
Next time it will be ToGo!
Ciaos has been a favorite of mine for years! It is usually on the quiet side, but our visit this past Saturday night was a little lively! Which was nice since we were celebrating my son and daughter in-law's birthdays! Just so happened that the Sweet Adelines were in town for a convention and some of them happened to be in the restaurant. One group sang Happy Birthday to our table, while another group sang to another table. What fun it was! The food was fabulous, I have never had a bad meal. I recommend The Marco Antonio which is chicken parmesan with eggplant parmesan on top. we had a wonderful waiter and all the staff are very friendly!
It was a wonderful evening with good food, good wine and the service was outstanding!! Highly recommend!
Ciao's has great Italian food! We love the atmosphere!
Twice we have been to Ciao and both times was an excellent experience! The waiter was exceptional with humor and service! The food was awesome and we highly recommend it!
Ciao is one of our go to places to eat a great meal with the family. Becky and her crew always have their "A" game with the service and food.
Always great food, good wine and exquisite service. Consistent quality and service over the years at a good value!
Caio’s continues to exceed all expectations when it come to a quiet, romantic evening out. The food is delicious and is well presented. The wait staff always provides exceptional, friendly and personable service. Nice selection of wines are available at reasonable prices. Caio’s is our favorite go to place for special occasions; make it yours!
Menu items we selected did not disappoint, great flavor and just the right amount of heat.
The service was great. We really enjoyed our dinner
Have eaten here twice now w/friends - it is one of our friends favorite recipes, and where we all go to celebrate certain important events! They like it better than we do, but it is ok food - I've had better Italian but, again, we really aren't going there for a great meal!
The atmosphere was extremely poor with multiple flys surrounding our table the entire meal and absolutely dead silence with no ambiance at all.
My girlfriends Chicken Marsala was a breaded chicken fried steak with some sort of soy tasting sauce. It was so bad we had to return it for another meal.
The fettuccini Alfredo I had was so watery with no flavor and the smallest pieces of chicken I have ever seen in a meal! Even my girlfriends replacement fettuccini Alfredo was just as bad.
Even with the horrible experience the management didn’t nothing at all to better the situation. We were charge full price and even charged for the four hard rolls.
By far the worst experience ever and it’s a shame being our first time in Little Rock.
You will be happy with anything on the menu. It is all incredible.
the best part of my meal was the cup of mushroom bisque soup. My main course was the veal tortellini. It was cold and very dry and had some linguini mixed in, which I had no idea where it came from. I also ordered coffee and it was served to me cold. The waiter gave excises for everything that was wrong with the meal. He was less than functional and not very accommodating. We were heading for a play at the Robinson so I didn't have time to make management aware, that is if they were even on site. WILL NOT RETURN!
The service was amazing and the food was phenomenal, we’ll definitely be back on our next trip to Little Rock.
Service was very slow. Restaurant was out of veal which is their signature meal. Seemed odd. Food was okay.
Excellent food. The most real Italian I've ever eaten in the US.
I was very disappointed overall with this restruant. The positive things...service was excellent. The culture of the restruant was above average. The food.. not so much. We had a wide survey of the menu and shared the food amongst each other for a party of seven. The food was average. It was better than Olive Garden or similar options, but it was not worth nearly double the cost of entrees. I’m glad we tried it but we won’t be back. This place has such potential, but the food needs a revamp.
We visit MB at least 3 to 4 times per year, and always make it a point to return to Ciao for dinner at least twice every time. The food is always spot on and the service is excellent.
Excellent food and great atmosphere! Met friends for lunch and had a great time.
The food and the service were exceptional. However, the kitchen was having a bad night. There were long waits between courses. We might return if we were in the area again. But, I couldn't recommend it to anyone for a pre-event dinner. Those around us trying to get to the symphony ended up getting their food to go. Managers were apologetic but.....
Our table for 2 was just a little too small for us. Had to set all table decorations, salt, pepper, etc. on the ledge next to our table. Next time will ask for a larger table.
Delicious meal in this little restaurant. Excellent service. Will definitely be back the next time I'm in downtown Little Rock.
The food choices for lunch were excellent -as were the wine choices :). The waitress was superb; she checked on our needs with excellent timing. We ordered the crab cakes and were pleasantly surprised when they were coupled with an aioli pesto dressing. It was such a complement to the crab cakes t I asked for the recipe! Cannot wait to go again. Ciao!
I have always enjoyed this restaurant very much. However, my experience this past weekend was not the best. It may been a busy night because it was the Saturday of the marathon weekend. I ordered a dish that was to include salmon, spinach, capers and a sherry sauce. I believe what came out was a fettuccine Alfredo with salmon there was no sign of capers or Sherry sauce. We also had trouble placing her wine order because our waitress didn’t show up until most of our mail was gone. I love this restaurant so will try it again but hope the food improves.
Very authentic Italian cuisine. It was a great reminder of my trips to Italy with my wife.
Loved the special Valentine extras. Champagne, special menu, decorations, and Valentine goodie bag. Chocolate Creme brûlée was wonderful. The restaurant was busy and our party had an event to attend after dinner, so we were a little rushed, but the service was excellent. I'm sure the kitchen was backed up a little.
Very much worth the 45 min drive it took us. It has been a few years since we visited and it is still just as good as always. Great place for our birthday dinner.
The reviews seemed hit or miss. I should have went with my gut because it was a big miss. Not authentic, terribly slow service. My pasta tasted like Chinese food. The foccacia bread was a load of bread. Extremely disappointed and will not return or recommend.
My wife and I were absolutely impressed with the food and service. We celebrated her birthday and were very pleased with our meals along with the amazing choices of wine. Definitely will be back again.
We have been going to Ciao’s for years. We always love it and the friendly service we always receive!
