Ciao Bella Ratings and Reviews
Appetizers of grilled calamari and the antipasto were quite good. Steak was done perfectly, eggplant parmagiana was done well. Veal entrees were overdone just a bit. They have nice bottles of house wines. Desserts were quite good. Complaint about veal was well received -- desserts were then gratis. Ran out of coffee, apparently, so end of meal was a bit truncated.
Most of the time my wife and I go to Ciao Bella's for dinner normally on a Friday evening. For special occasions, we sometimes invite other family members to join us because the atmosphere is always great, the food is always good and the service has never disappointed us. We will continue to go to Ciao Bella's as our area go to restaurant.
Our first time visit. Warmly welcomed by name and seated promptly. Excellent service by staff.
Superb meal. The only downside was that there were no many outstanding entrees, it was hard to select. Will have to return many times to sample the rest. Warmly greeted and thanked by owner. Made an outstanding impression on my date. Made me look like a valued and appreciated client.
I have been here several times, but Saturday was a disappointment. Service was very poor and the food was average. The restaurant was very crowded and it was very noisy. The ambiance was not good and the wash room was a mess. Overall, my experience on this visit was a kin to Olive Garden. Overall a disappointment.
Ciao Bella is my local favorite. I am here at least once a month and I'm never disappointed. The bread/spices/oil/parm is delicious and almost all of the dishes I've had have been outstanding. I'm recently eating gluten free and they had quite a few entrée options that were compliant. Maybe some day they could add a GF pasta - that would be awesome!
My husband and I were SO VERY HAPPY with EVERYTHING! We had our date day this past Friday and this was our first stop, BOY WERE WE PLEASED! The staff, the ambiance, the Raspberry & Grapefruit Martini's not to mention the food were all PHENOMENAL! I'm a Chef, own a Catering company & I am very picky about the food I eat "out" so for me to LOVE this place is HUGE!
My husband and I came there on a date. We enjoyed the food, the ambiance was awesome and our server was awesome. This was a great start to a sexy evening my husband planned for our date. We will be back and will definitely tell our friends about this absolutely wonderful restaurant.
Sam was our waiter tonight on date night and we are a regular at the restaurant. Sam always treats us like royalty. Our table is never cluttered with finished plates of food. And the food is always fantastic no matter what we order and the house wine that we order is always excellent.
I took my mother for Mothers Day. Our Server was great he liked to joke around witch made out time here fun. I Highly recommend if your looking for great Italian food. I love Scallops but you could of told me that your app only came with 2 Scallops. Besides that it was a great meal.
We ordered daily specials: grilled asparagus with a sauce, arugala salad, and main course grilled grouper with pesto sauce - all were inventive, prepared to perfection- a memorable meal. Service was very good , waiter checked on us just enough, food came out in just the right amount of time. I would give it 5 stars if it werent for the poorly done martini- (watery and room temperature) the high noise level, and expense. We split everything, had 3 drinks between the 2 of us ( including the bad martini) and bill was over $100. Not terribly expensive but high enough to keep us from coming here very often.
Our Mother's Day dinner and we spent $238 for 6 plates of crap. Seared Ahi tuna that was pure white it was so over-cooked, ice cold ravioli, long wait (even with reservations) rude waiter (most likely because we complained) -- just atrocious all around. I've been here many times -but it was a first for my 82 year old mom who LOVES Italian! I was excited to bring her here. Never. Again. You overbook and then take walk ins? My daughter is disabled and there was no place for her to even sit to wait as we were all crammed in at the front entrance. Your "party room" is a dump. Broken light fixture over our table, dirty walls and the icing on the cake? Right next to the bathrooms. Nice gesture. That'll teach us to complain, right? You could have rectified our situation many times over but we never saw a manager. Several parties were complaining. All I can do now is tell everyone I know to avoid this place like the plague. They had help wanted signs up all over their windows so I can only assume their staff is heading to greener pastures -- like the rest of us will.
