Great wine selections on half price night. Daily specials never disappoint
. Service was very good as usual. We will come back soon.
I always have a good meal at Ciao Bella. Will be back again.
Food and service was wonderful. Came here to celebrate Mother's Day, took the last reservation at 11:15 AM. The restaurant still accommodated our group of 6 even after being 15 minutes late, seated us right away. Dishes were appropriate sized, not too big where you'll have a lot of leftovers like most Italian restaurants. Considering it was Mother's Day, they should have had free mimosas for the females as a "special." They had a special Mother's Day menu, but prices were still the same, no discounts. Food was good, the burrata salad was my favorite. There was no kids menu which was unfortunate, and no pizza offered at the time for brunch so check before going if they have kid friendly options. Overall, I would go back, food was tasty and authentic.
It was my birthday. We made reservations and received a confirmation call. Showed up 20 minutes early and waited 40 minutes after reservation to be seated. We talked to the manager after 30 minutes of waiting and received attitude from him and he never checked back again.
I would not go again. I got the risotto di mare in white wine garlic sauce which tasted okay, but was primarily squid and calamari. The squid was improperly cleaned and unfortunately I but down very hard on a beak. I told the waiter, who attempted to convince me it was a part of the tail of the only shrimp in my risotto. My mom had the linguini di mare in the white wine garlic sauce, which had the sauce all in the bottom of the dish and the noodles were tasteless-- it was also primarily calamari, and small clams. We also got the grilled vegetables-- which was primarily peppers rather than vegetables. Overall, I was very disappointed. I got no apology and no discount for the improperly cleaned squid with the beak present.
The food is fantastic the service is phenomenal. My wife and I have been going to this restaurant since it opened and it has Yet to let us down.
Good food, good service and reasonably priced. Definitely enjoyable.
great entertainment and the service personnel were very friendly especially for a Saturday night
Everything was just OK. The Salmon I had could have been grilled a little longer. Just not exceptional like it was the last few times I was there. I had reservations yet I still was given a table near one of the main paths to the reception desk. There were plenty of other open tables and no one was waiting at the door for a table.
I frequently dine at Ciao Bella and it is always a great experience. The food is wonderful and the service is always prompt. I have taken family and friends alike on many occasions. Love the ambiance!
Our dinner at Ciao Bella was delicious. I had the bolognese and my husband had the white fish in lemon caper sauce. Both meals were so delicious that we shared. Our server was beyond excellent and very freindly. We will be back soon.
Outstanding Italian in NW Indiana
It’s always a good experience here! If you’re in the area, you have to try!
You can always count on a great meal, prepared perfectly!
Great food as always! Friendly, efficient server!
We really enjoyed Easter Brunch! The assortment of food was great! There was scrambled eggs, French toast, potatoes & sweet potato, ham, prime rib, tilapia, salmon, chicken, sausage & vegetables, pasta, pasta salads, Ceaser salad, fresh fruit and a dessert table! (I’m probably forgetting a few dishes!)
The serving staff was very tentative.
We did have to wait about 20min for a table even with our party of 4 reservation.
The room that we were sitting in was very cold.
Drinks were not included with the brunch prices.
Great food, great ambiance
When I made the reservation we were seated right by the door (chilling day) while there are plenty of other table we could have sat in. Otherwise great food and service!
Always a wonderful experience. Food was delicious and presented beautifully. Staff very attentive and equally attentive to our children.
Food and service was great!
We had a 6:30 reservation. Arrived at 6:26. We were not seated until 7:00 although other groups of 10, 6 and 2 were seated prior to us even though some of their reservations were at 6:45. Way overbooked tonight. Table we finally were given was against the windows and set up like a head table at a wedding. Very uncomfortable.
WOW! Excellent as always. The service, food, and atmosphere was outstanding.
I wish more restaurants would run like yours. I hope you keep expanding.
The restaurant is very noisy. The music is loud and it made it hard to hold a conversation. The tables are crammed into the dining space. The young couple at the table next to us had the same problem with it being too noisy. The food is good, service is good. We might go back, but I doubt it.
Excellent service and food. The waiter was very patient with us. We had dinner with a couple we had not seen in 10 years. Very highly recommended
Had a wonderful birthday dinner here for my hubby and BFF. Great service, food and ambience. Our server was knowledgeable, efficient and personable as was the rest of the waitstaff. Had 2 daily specials and 2 menu items that are Ciao favorites-all were served very hot and very tasteful, portions adequate. Will definitely return and recommend to others!
Best lunch buffet in NW Indiana. For $10, chicken, pasta, spuds, salad, & meat balls. Very, very good!,
I/we go there for their grilled salmon. Loved the special octopus appetizer for Valentine's Day, the salmon always good, and the pistachio gelato. Good cappucino. Sam was excellent. Happy that they had a bottle of Eruption available because so popular always LOW availability.
As usual, we had a great time and a great meal for Valentines Day. Calamari and salads were superb. Chilean Sea Bass was presented perfectly. We'll be back. Sam was great and knowledgeable on both food and wine.
The place was great. Loved the vibe. Very comfortable. The hostess could have been a little nicer. But we only had to deal with her for a few minutes. Our server was great!
Was there with wife and another couple. Our ordered appetizer came after our dinners were finished. They did remove the appetizer from the bill, but highly disappointing. Also, food was only fair. Definitely not worth the money.
Excellent DInner...Sam was a great waiter and didn't rush the girls who wanted to relax and take our time!! Food was great and wine was wonderful!!
Always an excellent experience
As Always the food was very good, the ambience was nice and the monthly food coupon is great as well as the service. We'll be back within the next month or two.
Attentive, quick but most of all flavorful.
It was a pleasant & vibrant dining experience. The ambience was definitely geared toward Valentine’s Day. Our reservations were for 6:15pm & our wait for a table was 30-35 minutes. A more engaged & customer friendly Hostess Staff would have added more to our dining experience. The several times I checked with the same Hostess during our wait, it was always the same response. “Several tables are now available & being cleared for the next round of diners”. Projecting a level of responsibIlity & accountability was limited on getting us seated within a reasonable amount of time. It was a rather depersonalized set of circumstances on that portion of our visit to your restaurant. Overall, it was a good dining experience!
Cramped table in the corner. Very noisy. Waiter was attentive and friendly. Pasta was very good, fish special was bland and the sauce was more like a broth. Dessert was delicious.
Dinner was excellant, service was good, food came out quickly. Love this place!
As always, superlative food and service. We both had the swordfish and it was prepared wonderfully. Excellent service by Sylvia. A nice birthday celebration night.
Jeff our waiter it was fabulous. Very knowledgeable about the meals we asked about. Service was excellent and the food was fabulous.
Ciao Bella does not disappoint. Food, service & ambiance is always great.
