Ciao Bella Ratings and Reviews
We arrived and were greeted by a very friendly hostess who checked us in. We were purposely early for our reservation because we first wanted to enjoy a glass of wine at the bar. The bar area is extremely noisy and thankfully the hostess informed us she could seat us early. The restaurant area is still a bit noisy but better than the bar. The restaurant is beautiful. Our food was oh, so great. The service is wonderful; we were never lacking for water and the server timed everything perfectly for us. It has been 2 days since we had dinner there and I am still thinking about our experience there. It is really a superb restaurant!!
We always have a wonderful time and great food when we visit our favorite Ciao Bella in Edina. The staff is always very welcoming, helpful and enthusiastic. The food is always good. The wine and atmosphere are also always good. I don't have a bad thing to say!
Thanks so much for a wonderful experience. We'll be back!
It is pretty close to Southdale Mall and I'd recommend Ciao Bella over any of the places at the mall (except maybe Tavern on France). It is a bit expensive, but the service is wonderful and the food was tasty. It's a bit loud because it's such an open layout, but the lighting is nice and the decor is warm and trendy.
Great friendly service, very attentive. Food was excellent and the wine while overpriced was very extensive selection. 6 oz filet was very tasty but a little thin. Salmon was very well prepared to order. I will return as this is one of my favorite Mpls hotspots.
We enjoyed our experience at Ciao Bella. Our server, Jerome, was thorough, efficient and kind. The flat bread was a small personal pizza which was a bit much and a tad dry. However, my daughter had ravioli with shrimp and it was delicious. The ambiance was wonderful and we look forward to returning!
I have eaten at this restaurant several times and have never been disappointed. I think they know how to combine flavors and using quality ingredients create food that is always delicious and a little out of the ordinary. The wait staff is always attentive and always pleasant.
I always like the food here ! I think the food is a little more costly but the restaurant has great decor and delicious food ! The service has always been good. My only problem is the noise level. Its much to noisy for us seniors to hear each other talk. I think next time I'll ask for a table on what I'd call the porch. I think it has a lower ceiling. I had the Ahi Tuna Salad........delicious !!!
Staff was very friendly and quick in service. We started off with a small order of the calamari. Not overcooked or over breaded, perfect with the accompanying sauce. I got the salmon special with mushrooms, spinach, and polenta. It turned out to be a great choice, salmon cooked perfectly, not overcooked or over seasoned. My girlfriend got cacio e pepe which she thoroughly enjoyed, though said it was a tad bit salty.
Food was great and we got drinks as well. The old fashioned was good, but the Moscow mule was too sweet, a bit heavy on the ginger beer but still enjoyable. Overall, a great experience but a bit on the expensive side given the portion size. Unlikely that we'll make dining here a regular thing, but there were enough intriguing menu items to draw us back for a special occasion.
I haven't been to Ciao Bella for over a year, and I was happy that it was as good as before. The service was efficient and friendly. Everyone in our group liked their food very much. I split a salad with my husband, The Baby Blue salad was the only not great item. The blue cheese was too mild - just our preference. We'll definately go back again.
Food was plentiful and excellent. Good enough to come back a couple of evenings later to taste more. I wish the tables were a bit larger so all the plates would fit. The noise level made conversation difficult. Every employee we encountered was friendly and efficient which made us feel quite comfortable.
My only regret is that I had not discovered this place earlier.
We were visiting from SC our nice hotel, Crowne Plaza recommended Ciao Bella (AND they were on OpenTable!!). Nicki was our very helpful, attentive and professional server with a lovely personality. The Classic Caprese salad with wonderful juicy tomatoes and tasty mozzarella was excellent and homemade, as well as the large servings of pasta (Traditional Bolognese and Shrimp Pastas).Limonetta Bella dessert was light and creamy. We enjoyed all our pastas and Caprese salad so well, we went back the next night as well. Nicki was not in, so Melissa was our excellent server as well. We had the WallEye Milanese which was good as well. Great spot!
