Delicious food and cocktails! Service was great as was the ambience.
Fabulous food and wine experience at Ciao Bella. I highly recommend.
This restaurant is SO NOISY you can't hear yourself think. It is deafening. I would not go back unless I could sit in the seating area to the left of the main dining room. Also, there is no attempt at all at social distancing. Nothing. Good luck with that.
The food is very good and the service is good.
My main issue is the noise level. HOLY GOD.
It was my husband’s Birthday and we had a table right in front of the fireplace…. It was so cozy and warm…. And I appreciated it so deeply as I have a chronic pain disease and am always cold… we frequent Ciao Bellas… it is one of our very favorite places… the food is always amazing… the staff and and waiters are always engaging and warm.. Your doing all the right things that make you special … keep it up!!
Very good. Good service and good food. Good wine selection
I was eating bread and felt something funny. I spit out the bread and there was a big hair in it. The waitress got a manager and they apologized but it was very insincere, dismissive and nothing was comped. It was gross. Last business lunch I do there
Heather, our server was wonderful
Our server was EXCELLENT! It was the first business dinner I've hosted in years and it was very successful. Thank you!
This room is quite loud. It would be so much better if we were able to converse with each other without having to strain to hear conversations.
This loud environment keeps me from coming more often. This lunch was my first in quite awhile , as soon as I entered the room, I remembered why.
Noise level at lunch was very, very loud!
Food and service were great!
Great spot for a business lunch - good food; great service....and you almost always bump in to somebody else that you know!
As always excellent food and even more excellent service. Ciao Bella is extremely well managed; the only issue I have is how disappointed I am with other restaurants after enjoying Ciao Bella.
My girlfriends and I go about once a month and just love it there. The service is great. It's a great for date night or out with friends, even business dinners. Best Italian in MPLS. Nikki is an amazing server!
Great food and simply outstanding service by truly professional wait staff. I love this place.
Great food and wine! Definitely way to go back soon!
We had a great birthday celebration for my wife. Great experience for the kids too!
From the food to the service, the night couldn’t have been better!
Fabulous service! Our lovely waitress suggested a different wine than the one I had requested - I trusted her, and it was probably the best Cabernet I’ve ever had! Her expertise was precise, as she also described the specials from memory with detail. Food arrived promptly and was really delicious! Thank you for making my mom’s birthday one to remember!
Suzi is outstanding! Suzi and Nikki always make sure we have a perfect experience. Thank you! Everything was awesome!!
Walleye was excellent.
With MN among states with highest percentage of COVID positivity, I was troubled to see a laxness regarding spacing of tables and mask wearing (by guests and staff) and no required proof of vaccination upon entry. The room appeared to have the same capacity as pre-COVID.
I live in Illinois and was recently in NY. Restaurants take these public health measures very seriously.
The food was good and our server was responsive. She just wasn't wearing a mask, nor were the managers walking the floor to note when tables would turn. I've enjoyed hundreds of meals at Ciao Bella since it opened 20+ years ago. I'm not likely to return until MN restaurants recognize their role as public health leaders.
All . Of . It !!!!
I found this restaurant by just googling Italian restaurants near me and wow am I happy I found it! The food was phenomenal! Might just be the best Italian food I’ve ever had in MN! I’m already planning my next visit there!
Amazing food great service! Ciao Bella never disappoints.
Food, Service & ambiance was outstanding! Wished we lived in Minneapolis so we could visit more often.
Waitstaff was professional and very engaging. Meeting Kim and talking with Tyler made the evening more special. Ciao Bella will be on our favorite list when we return to Minneapolis.
Suburban chic Italian spot around 80th and France. Great service. Loud but not terrible. Food was very good but value wasnt great. Scallops small plate was a highlight as were the meatballs. The parm shrimp were solid as was the prosciutto arugula flatbread. All and all a good experience.
Awesome as always. Despite being completely jammed with diners, service was excellent as was the food. Ciao Bella has been our "Go to" for celebration dinners for 20 years.
We ordered the special, scallops and shrimp on chickpeas in a tomato broth. On paper an excellent combination. Even though the seafood was cooked perfectly, the chickpeas and broth were over spiced and over salted, ruining it. At the very least, the description of the special should have included spicy.
As always, the bread was exquisite and our excellent waitress provided a free loaf as compensation. We hope tis was a one off and will give Ciao Bella another chance.
Excellent food and service!!!
Our waiter, Jeff was excellent! We liked the atmosphere and food and great wine and cocktail options. Noise didn’t bother us at all, felt like we were at a great party! Highly Recommend!!!
This has always been one of our favorite places to eat but last night was horrible. Lousy waitress...brought one drink and then we waited 12 minutes for the second, a glass of wine! Never ever asked either of us if we would like another drink! Took 25 minutes for her to take our order and we had to request bread! Also it was a birthday celebration which we added when we made reservations. That was never brought up and neither was dessert. It will be awhile before we consider going back.
Our server was excellent, her name is Tina. She was attentive and made great suggestions.
Great. The best!
On prior visit a few months ago food was excellent, enough so that we decided to drive over half an hour each way to celebrate a special occasion. This visit our dishes were clearly less tasty and relatively non-descript, although the ingredients were fresh. Service was well done. Notable disappointment.
Great food, ambiance and service
Ciao Bella is an awesome restaurant with wonderful food! Ciao Bella never disappoints you, their food is always top notch!
Our server Jesse was wonderful! Very attentive, courteous and made our dining experience great!
Really appreciate how quickly our server and the kitchen was with getting our food to use in a timely manner. We were on limited time and they accommodated our needs perfectly. It one of our favorite restaurants. Love the ciao baby salad with filet, sausage and fennel soup, and scallops appetizer.
Great food, service and lively atmosphere. You can't go wrong.
