👍👍. Great meal. $4.99 Margherita pizza is the best deal in town.
Lamb and Salmon meals were better than Outstanding. Service (Vince) was fantastic (very attentive) Dessert (Tiramisu) was simply the best I have ever had.
Definitely will be back.
Always a great experience, nice atmosphere and excellent, helpful service.
Service was outstanding. Waitress did a great job and we appreciated her hard-work. Calamari was very good. The martini called the Sylvania excellent. The main course was not as good as it used to be. The pasta was dry and tasteless. Veal & chicken were both dry. Lobster Ravioli which had been wonderful in the past, this time missed the Lobster completely. There was nothing stuffed in the pasta shell, flavorless. This is the second time we've been disappointed with the quality of the meal this past year. I seriously doubt we will go back unless it's for drinks or an appetizer. Not sure if the cooks have changed or recipes have changed but very disappointing that the meal wasn't up to the standard it had been.
The best meal I've had in a very long time. The service was Perfection from start to end. And the Ambiance was amazing
Visiting family in Sylvania and we all had dinner here. Terrific service and surprisingly good food. My wife appreciated the gluten free pasta.
Always great food and service! It’s a warm, friendly atmosphere and the staff is courteous and accommodating. We brought out-of-town guests who were very impressed with the wine list, food and excellent service. Ciao never disappoints!
Always an enjoyable experience. Service is A+. Beautiful food presentation. Not overly expensive. Worth every penny!
Food was excellent! Atmosphere was laid-back. Service was outstanding. A great place for celebrating my husbands birthday.
You made my Birthday truly special! We will be back again soon!
Cioa - NEVER disappoints - The scallop appitzer with risotto was amazing.
Always excellent food and service. It’s not run-of-the-mill but a very special place. General Manager is very friendly as is the wait staff.
Food was very good. We had reservations so were seated quickly upon arrival. Restaurant was very busy and we had six in our party so service was not as quick as usual when it came to beverages and refills on bread. On the other hand our salads and main dishes did arrive timely. One in our party has celiac and the server was very helpful in recommending GF options.
The food is wonderful, and seems to be made to order each time we go. The bread and infused olive oil at the beginning of the meal is excellent, and there’s a nice wine list.
Wait staff is very knowledgeable and unobtrusive, CJ is fantastic, it’s almost like being on a 5 star cruise ship. Great ambiance.
It can get crowded and often dinner for two can take more than an hour and a half. We don’t mind, but if you’re look for quick, this is not it.
The only negative is the smell in the front of the restaurant. It smells like raw sewage and if you’re seated near the hostess desk it’s very noticeable during your meal. It seems to be getting worse as time goes on. It would be much better if this problem could’ve fixed.
We celebrated my husband’s birthday, at CIao’s. Your restaurant was the perfect choice! We enjoyed our table next to the fireplace and our service was 1st rate. I enjoyed the Salmon on a bed of spinach and my husband loved the scallops! The Pumpkin cheesecake w/candle was perfect! Thanks Ciao’s, for helping us celebrate!
One of our favorite restaurants!
Good value for birthdays.
I visited 2 months prior for my birthday! It was not a good experience! They asked me to give them a second chance! I did and I am happy I did! The whole experience was great! Thank you!
The dinner was very good. The waitress was most attentive. When we commented on the Beet Salad which there is an upgrade on, the manager was right there to address our concerns. We thought that a Beet Salad should be most generous with beets. I applaud the manger for her actions. Most restaurants really do not care much about a complaint. This place does and will be back again!!
Service and food was very good. Front reception was odd, when we walked in we had to initiate conversation with the hostess (and no greeting whatsoever even after confirming our reservation). When leaving, the hostess (different person than arrival) just kinda watched, again no greeting whatsoever.
We were celebrating a birthday and everything was perfect. The food was wonderful and the service excellent. Are already planning another visit in the near future.
As always, Ciao was fabulous. Dinner for 4. Service was impeccable. Food was BEST in STATE.
Reservation was ready when we arrived. Wednesday evening is not usually the best day for any kitchen but the Chef was spot on. Thank you for the great Veal Scallopini. And the House salad... What can I say? It was the best I've had in years!
This is a restaurant that is NOT to be missed in NW Ohio.
Food was wonderful. The usually good service was not. Disappointed, but we will be back.
Nick was awesome. He had many large parties but serviced us very well. Thanks Nick!!!
The only reason I could not give the restaurant all outstandings is the restroom odor at the front door was a bit overwhelming either that or there was some raw sewage problem just inside but once seated the odor was not smelled.
This is a GREAT find! Nice ambience, wonderful food, excellent service. The GM (Brenda Keefe) has even contributed a wonderful cocktail (please try the Hot Buttered Rum) and a great infused Bourbon. We started with the Asiago al Forno (awesome), then my wife had the Ravioli di Zucca (wonderful!); I had the Calamari (delicious) and the Halibut special, which was divine! The meal was sealed with a charm with a unique Budino!
Wonderful atmosphere. Great people who provide great service. Will be back
The food, service, and atmosphere were all good and pleasant. However, the prices are too high.
Excellent visit overall. Quality service, delicious food, perfect to celebrate our anniversary.
Great experience overall. Our waitress, Justine, was attentive without being intrusive, well versed in the menu, very personable, and added to our enjoyment of the evening with her upbeat personality.
My first time there. Took my daughter for her birthday. Food was great. I will be back.
Enjoyed the food and service. Menu selection provides great choices.
Brittani was phenomenal. She was on top all our needs without being too overbearing during the meal. Never have a bad experience when she is taking care of us. Definitely recommend her if you're coming in to eat.
We had excellent service as always and the food was amazing. High quality ingredients and high quality staff
Boooo for taking free dessert off the birthday meal.
Price continues to rise though, and will soon outstrip what I feel like paying.
Service a bit slow this time, but not always.
Food still great as usual.
Great atmosphere. Food was slow to come out. Most of it was delicious. My wife and I both got stuffed salmon with goat cheese and vegetables. Vegetables were unevenly distributed. I got more vegetables, namely more red peppers, my wife more zuchinni. I also received more capers. The creme brulee was not smooth as expected but slightly curdled.
Always a good meal. Nice atmosphere to visit with friends.
This is a regular for us. Food is great. We are there a couple times a month. Usually love it.
Service was sub par but may have been because of large parties that were there.
And the drinks have gotten pricey.
Here is hoping it bounces back.
The chef was very accommodating for changes in the entrees for dietary requirements.
Outstanding. Service, food, drinks. We visit often and will continue to.
Went for my birthday (love the special birthday deal). Wait staff was attentive, food was good, enjoyed the live music. Pleasant atmosphere. Appreciate that they take reservations.
