We celebrate Easter, Mother's Day and Father's Day at Shenanigans annually. We love it! New seafood items were added this year which made it even better!
We went for a friend’s birthday as noted on the reservation and told to the front of the house but our server never got the message.
The server was warm and friendly but forgetful.
We had a great view and a wonderful meal with new friends. Thank you for the great service and delicious food! We will come back again soon.
Order was incorrect
No plates to go along with appetizers
Drink options were incorrect
Food was bland
No cutlery was offered for steak order
The restaurant wasn’t busy at all
We love the lunch choices at C.I. Shenanigans and the prices are reasonable. Also, the view is always spectacular there.
Our waiter have a consistency of checking up on us to make sure our drinks were good on the level and making sure it's not empty and that is very important to us especially on our Anniversary dinner. Thank you for the great customer service...
Our server Pualani made our visit amazing! Talk about incredible service and a great attitude! The food was great as always and we were seated at a window table (as requested in advance) giving us a great view of the water.
We still love coming, but we sure missed the Bloody Mary Bar. The breakfast food was cold, and we were also sat at a table right below the air conditioning, so we were also cold. The service was friendly and the seafood was so delicious! We will be back.
Our friends were a bit late because of traffic but our server, Amanda, was very patient and took care us very well.
Lunch quality, quantity and value for price was not good.
Everything was great, the food, the staff, the ambiance. The salmon fettuccine is amazing I recommend it.
The waitress had to return to our table twice after the initial order to remember our order. The food was barely warm, the rice was dry. The service was slow and poor. The bill was wrong and took 15 min to resolve.
Went for the restaurant week menu. The food was just okay. The clam chowder was minimally passable. Hard to compete with so many other good or great ones nearby. The crab-stuffed sole was mediocre, the rice pilaf was sticky and clumpy like it’d been sitting for a long time and the green beans were tasty but overdone. They have a great deck for service when the weather is nice.
We visited for Sunday brunch. Unfortunately, we were 15 minutes late for our reservation so we expected a longer wait. They were very busy and the host staff was busting tables to get customers seated faster. The buffet area was crowded, not everything was labeled, and just messy. They seemed short staffed and not able to keep up with the amount of people. Food was spilled everywhere and it took some time before items were replenished. The items that were mystery items not labeled were left alone to dry out and did not look appetizing. The prime rib or whatever beef was being carved lacked in flavor and was tough. The Dungeness crab that was there was tasty though and the view was pleasant. We didn’t attempt the omelet or crepe stations. Sadly the experience fell short of some of the personal reviews we’ve heard from friends and family. We’ll be going to the casinos for buffet in the future.
We were celebrating 3 birthdays on this occasion. Upon scheduling our reservation, I stated that we were celebrating 3 birthdays and requested a seat near the windows, which did not happen. Neither were the birthdays acknowledged. Our server was pleasant but incredibly inexperienced. The food for Sunday buffet was not very good this time.
Good value for brunch. Great views of the sound. Excellent and attentive wait staff.
Service was very slow. I wouldn’t say that it was very busy, but it took a long time to get our order taken and the server had to come back to verify what we had ordered. Drink service was slow, appetizers didn’t come out until after the entree. Apparently they’d run out of beverages because we were never offered a second drink. And we had to ask for a dessert menu. Our tip was commensurate with the level of service. Very hard to recommend as the competition along Ruston Way has similar ambiance, better food, and very good service.
No table ready for reservation so put at table in loud bar. Busy bar atmosphere and not what we had in mind for anniversary dinner.
Our booth table was in a position that presented us with loud shouting coming from the kitchen. Unacceptable #1
Our server got the appetizer to the table then disappeared. Unacceptable #2
My main course was the Asian BBQ duck. It was inedible, tough, not properly cooked, only heated enough to pass a health inspection. I even tried a steak knife to no avail.
It was the sorriest meal I have had in a very long time. Unacceptable #3
It was very disappointing that the service we received from Amanda was non-existent as it ruined the evening for me and my guests. After she took our order we did not see her until she returned with the check and my guests wanted to order additional food but we were not given the opportunity so the restaurant itself lost money and we walked away as very dissatisfied customers.
Wonderful dinner with family. Our server was wonderful.
Drinks and appetizers we good. Some main entrees were over cooked. Good service and views.
Good food, good service and good views of the bay....
We have eaten here several times in the last month. I would not recommend the Parmesan crusted wild halibut. It was not good at all. To much breading. I think we will not go back for awhile. They were so busy service was very slow. It was noisy not a good experience at all.
The food was very good and the service was good. I had the Spencer Steak (ribeye). It was cooked perfectly at medium wellness. The only thing I could recommend is they might want to look into recovering the seats and such. It is definitely after 36 years looking very warn out. Could definitely use a cosmetic face lift a bit. Sitting and looking around you can see where its falling a part, rips and chips are at. For such a higher end restaurant would be nice for it to actually still look it. Other than that, it was great meal with great company.
Oh yeah I think they need to offer up more specialty drinks. It's the same ones almost every time we go in.
Food always seems to be hit or miss here. Service is usually very good.
I really wanted the Prime Rib Dip, but last time I had it, it had a lot of fat on it. So I asked the waiter if he could ask the chef if he could take the fat off the meat. The waiter came back telling me the the chef wouldn't do that and there was a lot of fat on the Prime Rib. So I had to have something else. I don't know why it's so hard for the chef to cut the fat off the meat before he slices it. It seem's like he doesn't have any pride in his work.
It was an off day for our server. Three of our orders were wrong or mixed up. We didn't have much attention at our table. For as many mistakes occurred, I was surprised that all that was offered was an apology. The manager came over and apologized, but in my experience in other restaurants, generally with that many errors, an offer of dessert or one comp meal is made. Not that we would have accepted dessert, but the gesture would have been nice. Thank goodness the steak was very delicious. Really need to work on service and timing. It took us a long time to get our meal.
Nice environment, staff is amazing but the food is not good at all.
This place is always our go to Sunday brunch. The kids love the variety and my wife loves the seafood.
We were seated next the kitchen were shouting and noise was at a high level. My husband is hard of hearing and could not even hear what the server was asking. She graciously moved us. The food was less that average, but the sole was the most disappointing. When it came it was tough and burnt. It looked as if an effort had been made to conceal the fish as the burnt part was turned under and the stuffing exposed. Again, our wonderful server saved the day and we reordered the entree. It was much improved the second time.
I hate to give a bad review, but addressing these things would create a much better impression for your guests.
Great food, reservation was ready on time... Great table by the water.
Food was really good . My wife & I love the setting , but the waiter wasn’t the best . The waiter bothered me , but we still tipped him over 20% to be nice even though he didn’t deserve it .
Hostess and server were amazing
Beautiful venue, lovely, cheerful waitstaff but food was mediocre. The food has always been stellar in the past. The view is worth the ho'hum food.
Service was horrible! Not that crowded and it took forever to get our waitress’s attention! Can’t beat the location tho!
St Patrick’s Day
We really enjoyed the food, service, and atmosphere for a family dinner on St. Patrick's Day. The special visitors of Irish dancers was a bonus to our dinner. Thank you!
St Patrick day
They're just not what they used to be. The brunch quality level is no longer up to the standards it used to be.
