Churrascaria Plataforma Brazilian Steakhouse is a Rodizio style restaurant. Rodizio is a method of serving meat that originated in the south of Brazil in the early 1800's. The concept is to serve a wide variety of different cuts of beef - sirloin, baby beef, top round, skirt steak, short ribs, brisket, rib eye; pork - ham, pork ribs, sausage, pork loin, suckling pig; chicken - chicken legs, chicken hearts; turkey - wrapped in bacon; lamb, fish, etc. in succession, to each diner individually right at their table. A meal typically begins with a trip to the gourmet salad bar, which features a variety of vegetables and composed salads in addition to four hot dishes. We also serve a selection of side dishes at your table. The main course, the highlight of the meal, will start when you flip your coaster-sized "chip" from the red side to the green side, signaling the meat cutters you're ready to be served.

All the steaks were mediocre quality. They would never bring out the filet mignon unless you specifically ask for it. The filet tasted dry and lack of flavor. Will not return to this restaurant ever again, complete waste of money and time.

Absolutely amazing food! Service was great, the specific waiter we had was not very good however you actually are waited on by many people and everyone else was amazing and went above and beyond to make your time pleasant.
Will always come back and recommend this place to anyone! Just be sure to bring ur appetite

A different version of a buffet, only the food (meat) travels to you. The sides were marginal. A different experience for sure, but too pricey. However, the wait staff was very good. Just not my preferred “cup of tea”.

This was my third time to this location for restaurant week. I actually liked it the first time I went however, the last two times were less desirable. Last year, we made reservations for restaurant week however, the reservation was not entered as such and we ended up with a $400 bill at the end where it was only brought to our attention when we asked what the restaurant week deserts were and then was told we weren't put in for it and they took off the meal for the child. This past restaurant week I went with two other people whom have never been there and found that there were actual cuts of meat that was being walked around but could not partake because they were not a part of the restaurant week menu however, that had never been the case in the two previous time that I had been to the restaurant. I go specifically for restaurant week and suggest it to many people. This time it was disheartening.

I came here for restaurant week and I thought it was pretty good deal compared to their regular non-restaurant week meals. I felt it was a really good deal in terms of price and the variety of meat selections. The quality of meats was also pretty good too. I recommend this place!

Had a great dinner here, first time at the Plataforma chain, but was not disappointed with the quality of the food. The two bottles of wine we had ordered were unfortunately not available, and for some reason took over 15 minutes to notify us of this, but not a huge deal. Was comped a nice port wine for our troubles.

For the money, on par with other churrascaria around and will not hesitate to make another reservation

Came here for a birthday during restaurant week. Very comfortable, friendly atmosphere. The salad bar is delicious and has various options. Johnny, our server, was phenomenal and made the experience even more wonderful; thank you for your kindness, humor, and hospitality. The meat and dessert were great just as well. Also, I personally recommend the pomegranate martini!

Unfortunately I did not have a good experience at this restaurant today. The food was ok, some cuts of meat were good some other were disappointing. Salad bar was ok. But what really ruined our dinner was the service. It was just really bad, from beginning til end. I still don’t know if we even had a dedicated server, because nobody basically stopped at our table or checked on us during the whole dinner. Only the manager stopped by at the very end (after the bill was paid) to ask how everything was. At that point I really didn’t feel like complaining because it was so obvious that we were ignored for the whole night. We had to ask for everything multiple times (like when we asked for side of fried bananas 4-5 times). There was no flow whatsoever. Nobody changed our plates after we finished the appetizers throughout the whole dinner until we basically begged them to change our plates because we had no room to put all the meat that they kept bringing. Then my husband asked to put a candle on my dessert (it was my birthday). They brought out the desserts when my husband wasn’t there and sang happy birthday when our party wasn’t complete. I told them that my husband was in the bathroom but they didn’t care. It was really awkward and sad. Our check was $150 per person, to receive the worst service I’ve ever got. I’m not getting my birthday back but for sure I’m not returning to this restaurant nor recommending it to anyone.

Went for Restaurant Week, so only two beef selections: top sirloin was tough, top round was OK. Chicken, sausage, lamb shank, pork loin we're do so. No great flavor. Salad bar was OK. Many choices that were again meh. Shiitake mushrooms were good tho. The cheesy puffs served as bread we're very good. No shrimps, no bacon. Many other rodizios far better. Bathroom on same floor. Service very good.

Very friendly staff, amazing food, little noisy but fits with the general mood, they even organized a mini celebration for my uncle’s birthday with a dessert on the the house and a candle so great time overall!

Place is awesome. The maitre d was very welcoming, explain the process and genuine kind person. The salad bar was vast, the meats were great, drinks are tasty and season portions.

Doorman was excellent, however the host man was not at all, actually he was very rude. Other that him, the service was excellent. Food was awesome and the atmosphere was great. When I booked my reservation on line, there was a question if there was occasion and I selected for birthday. I completely forgot to confirm that it was a birthday dinner, when we ordered the deserts the staff came out singing Happy Birthday!! Excellent service!!!

Such an amazing restaurant! At first I didn't now they would do Restaurant Week for a buffet-style restaurant, but you almost get every meat option for the lunch menu and I really filled up! Great service, phenomenal food, and wonderful ambiance. It's a bit high in price for us to eat on a regular day but I will definitely be going back every restaurant week!!!
